    In retrospect I didn't give this place a fair review. When Thousand Oaks Toyota made up some bogus reason why they couldn't service my vehicle under warranty Simi Valley Toyota stepped up and did. When dealing with other dealerships, I keep looking back to my experience with Simi Valley thinking, "Simi Toyota was way better." I would buy here again and I can't have a 2 star review on here since I send everyone I know here, telling them to avoid Thousand Oaks Toyota at all costs. The only thing I can say is there was 1 salesman here I didn't like, but that was just 1 of many I dealt with. Service here ended up finally fixing my brake problem under warranty and the car has been running great since. That's this critic's review.

    Thank you Luciano! I flew into Burbank airport from Phoenix AZ to purchase a 25 GR Corolla. They had one that was certified pre owned with only 3k miles. Fully loaded and the exact color and trim I wanted. Practically the only one available in the western USA at the time. Thanks to Steven, I was able to finish 90% of my paperwork before I even arrived. I got the price I wanted as well without having to play the 5 hour lower your price game like other dealerships will do. Being a Gold certified pre owned Vehicle, it was still waiting to get new floor mats in. I bought the vehicle before they could arrive, so Mark in Parts did the coolest thing ever and just ordered new ones and had them shipped directly to my home. This dealership is incredible and really knows how to make you feel important. Thank you again everyone for making my out of state purchase one the easiest and stress free experiences I've ever had.

He provides clear and detailed answers on all my service related questions or when technicians make recommendations. He makes sure our car is always returned in a timely manner and clean condition.     Do not buy a used car from this dealership…read more First, they tried to add almost $4,000 in extra accessory charges on top of the advertised price. Before driving over 80 miles to the dealership, I specifically called ahead and asked whether there were any added packages or accessories. The salesperson clearly told me over the phone that there were no add-ons and that the final price would just be the online price plus tax and document fees. After I arrived, suddenly there were thousands of dollars in extra charges for random accessories and packages. The manager and in-person salesperson then claimed they were not the person who answered the phone yesterday and said they "didn't know anything about it." Luckily, I still have the call record on my phone. Second, during the test drive, the AC was obviously not working properly. The air coming out was not cold at all. Instead of admitting there was a problem, the salesperson tried to say that because the vehicle is large, it "just cools down slowly." That explanation made absolutely no sense. We finally compared it to another identical vehicle next to it, and only then did the salesperson reluctantly admit they should have the mechanic inspect it again. Very disappointing experience overall. Misleading pricing and refusing to acknowledge obvious vehicle issues wasted a huge amount of our time.

I am the second owner of it and the hard top was starting to crack and come apart. It's a well known QC issue item from an outside vendor. Upon my arrival; Steve introduced himself to me. He walked the vehicle with me; listened to my concerns with the hard top. They elected to make a report and they sent it in for possible warranty work. Steve was amazing through this entire process. To this day; he is the ONLY service advisor I have come in contact with at ANY dealership that followed up 100% of the time and he always called and gave me updates when he said he would. Steve was so kind, compassionate, and a pleasure to work with. I will never forget this experience and I was really just humbled by the entire process. Before leaving; we walked the entire vehicle to make sure everything was up to par and the team did a great job with my claim on this vehicle! Thank you Steve for being an amazing service advisor and just a great person in general. Everyone I came in contact with at this dealership was just so nice and it was really just a nice change of pace. Grateful to have met Steve and everyone who I came in contact with at this dealership!

Since that time, I have been through at least 5 service advisors. Tina being the only consistent one and now she is on absence. Yesterday, I had a scheduled 11am oil change appointment. I ended up arriving early by chance and dropped it off at 10:45. I was in no hurry so I decided to go for a good walk to kill time since they were not busy and were looking at a 90 minute time frame. When I came back from my walk at 12:30 (walked a good 4 miles) my truck was still in the service lane. I waited in the lobby for half an hour and it still hadn't moved nor had I been given any update. At one o clock I finally inquired and my truck had yet to been touched at all. I was offered a Lyft home which I accepted because I did have some work to get done. My service was finally completed and ready for pick up after four. I left the dealership at 4:30pm. That's a 5 1/2 hour oil change when I was expecting no more than 90 minutes. My job requires me to have a vehicle to drive around. Unfortunately I was unable to do any of my work yesterday once my service started. Imagine if that was played out the other way around? Dealership owners wouldn't be happy I assume. Highly debating where I will be taking my truck for my next service.

I had my service and recall completed here today, and the experience was outstanding. I recently moved to Simi, just a few blocks from the dealership, so this was my first time visiting this location. Brian Fox was my service advisor, and he was fantastic. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and communicative throughout the entire process. He kept me updated on my vehicle and clearly explained everything that needed to be done. One of my coworkers also brings her car here and always speaks highly of Brian, and now I completely understand why. This was probably the best experience I've ever had at a Kia dealership. They definitely have a lifelong customer in me now, and when I'm ready to purchase a new vehicle, I will absolutely be buying it here. I called his dealership about an issue with our new KIA and this upfront person called Brian or Brandon keeps telling me that "well, you didn't buy the car from us"!!!! Really?? And I keep trying to tell him that the car is under manufacturer's warranty, and he keeps repeating the same idiotic response that he'd been thought like a broken record. I made several attempts to reach this supposed GM character to no avail, and will certainly file a complaint against him with KIA MOTOR USA.
