Grilled Steak - Carne Asada Grilled steak served with rice, sweet plantain and beans (10oz). With onions 2.00

Absolutely delicious, I came here for the first time with a friend of mine and definitely was just trying out something because we were in the mood for Colombian food. So my friend decided to order the seafood and I decided to go with the Carne Asada. It was delicious. I just couldn't finish it because it was a sizable serving at about 10 at night, but I will say that the service is absolutely phenomenal and ambience there seems like it's on a Saturday night. I would come back if I'm in the neighborhood. Really nice place.

We stopped here for a quick lunch. We were seated rather quickly which was nice but it's 40 degrees outside and they had the doors propped open. So all the wind and cold air are smacking you in the face inside. Pretty miserable so we all had to eat with our coats on. The food we overpriced so we decided to do the two person plate which was 25 bucks plus a soda which is not fountain by the way it's four bucks per can of soda. Plus my son's apple juice was four buck for a bottle of hot apple juice. The plate itself was fine. Nothing to write home about the flavors were good the steak was tough but otherwise delicious. Staff pretty much ignored us (there were three tables with customers) while we were there so it was hard to even get a refill on water. I wouldn't go back but I will say if you're in the area at night it looks like a place you could visit for live music and entertainment. Maybe the drinks are better than the food!

This review is for the night time experience!! The ambiance is great they have a DJ playing a mix of Colombian/Spanish music!! A dance floor, fog, lights! Bottles for purchase, cocktails.. a whole party open until 2am fri/sat! Perfect spot to celebrate a birthday with friends & family. Oh & a full menu of food!! Felt a little piece of Colombia while I was here!

Stepped in on an early Friday night for dinner. It wasn't busy and there was no wait. The service was friendly and the food was good. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri. My hot date ordered a tequila sunrise (both good but not pictured) Appetizer-Chicharrón served with 2 sauces We had Arepas also. I am not sure if they came with the meal or not but they were delish. Entree- Grilled Skirt Steak with rice and beans and green plantain (Tostones) My Date ordered the same thing but with shrimp. I loved that we both had leftovers. I'd eat here again. I saw that there was a stage and a DJ Booth. I'd like to see what that's about lol The bathroom was clean and the eating area was clean as well. It looks like they can accommodate large parties. They have booths, tables with chairs and the bar area.

I were ordering to go but the order to go NOT pack good. SIMON PARRILLA restaurant in 295 S Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood, FL 32750 . Payattention to pack the food, not only money. Pack to go order since beginning pick up not good when I put in the Car. The box and soup drop soup in the plastic bag. I were very disappointed that my food at home like disaster gave my husband at home.

I've never been here? How is that possible? We wanted to try something different (again) and found this Colombian restaurant. Since we got in right after my son's day at school; it was pretty empty. The atmosphere is nice. I imagine on weekends and during happy hours, it's a fun place. They have a stage and karaoke nights. I can picture it being a nice night out. The food was excellent. I made it simple; just a bowl of their chicken soup and mozzarella sticks. The soup? My goodness. I'm not sure what it's made of, but it was chives, broth, a good meaty piece of chicken (yes a big hunk) along with - I want to say - a couple pieces of potato chunks. So you break apart the chicken and potatoes with the spoon and it was delicious! So simple, but so tasty. The mozzarella sticks were fantastic. Homemade, not frozen and deep fried. Son got a huge platter, not the biggest one they had - and I can't remember the name. But it had a variety. A sort of bacon type thing along with rice and everything else. Delicious! (According to him) The only thing I was a little disappointed in was cans of soda and not a fountain drink with refills available. But for sure, I'll be back.

Can't beat the lunch special. $10 for a soup of the day and steak, rice and salad. Staff is always friendly.

There's a level of familiarity in both the flavors and the experience that's hard to find. I usually order the bandeja paisa, and it's exactly what you'd want from a classic. Generous, flavorful, and true to tradition. It's the kind of dish that brings you back to the roots of Colombian cooking. The beef empanadas are another favorite. Crispy on the outside, packed with flavor on the inside, and consistently satisfying every time. Between the authenticity, the quality, and the consistency, La Antioqueña is a place I keep coming back to.

Service was super friendly and helpful - they made us feel right at home! The steak was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The empanadas were crispy and well-seasoned, and the chorizo was wonderful. But the highlight had to be the sancocho soup. It was so flavorful and filling. If they have it when you go, don't skip it! Highly recommend checking this place out if you're craving authentic Colombian food. I'll definitely be back!

When I sat down and read the little menu card of desserts they had on every table and notice tiramisu was offered I was wildly skeptical. But that is where it ended. What an amazing and authentic Colombian restaurant. I ordered the beans and rice with Maduros and everything was perfect! You may know Colombian food is very heavy otherwise I would have liked to order more but I had to save a little room for dessert. One true sign of an authentic Colombian restaurant is their breads (Pan de bono was served and it was amazing) and their dessert. Not tiramisu but brevas con queso. This is truly Colombian and is great when you can find it. This is a nice and clean restaurant with real Colombian food. I highly recommend it.

It does seem that they recently remodeled or renovated the restaurant. We got the fried fish, ceviche, and seafood rice, which came as a big trio platter, and everything was really good. The seafood tasted fresh and the portions were pretty generous. We also got a sangria, and that was probably my favorite part. It was SO good. Definitely one of those sangrias where you're like, "okay, I'll have another one." Honestly, I liked everything we ordered. However, I was told by my partner that I am easily impressed. My only suggestion is to eat it there if you can. I took some home thinking I'd have great leftovers, but the food just wasn't quite the same the next day. Some things are just better fresh, and I think this is one of those places. Overall, really good food, plenty of seating, great drinks, and definitely a place I probably would have overlooked because of the location. Glad we stopped in!
