Came here for lunch and had a fantastic experience! We were seated right away, and the inside is cozy with festive décor and a bar tucked in the back. Service was super friendly and helpful - they made us feel right at home! We ordered the carne asada con tostones ($16), empanadas ($2.25 each), chorizo con arepa ($5), and the sancocho soup special ($14.50), and everything was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The empanadas were crispy and well-seasoned, and the chorizo was wonderful. But the highlight had to be the sancocho soup. It was so flavorful and filling. If they have it when you go, don't skip it! Highly recommend checking this place out if you're craving authentic Colombian food. I'll definitely be back! read more

I passed Colombia La Bella several times while in town and finally was able to stop in for dinner. My wife is Colombian so I am always sceptical of Colombia food and it's authenticity. When I sat down and read the little menu card of desserts they had on every table and notice tiramisu was offered I was wildly skeptical. But that is where it ended. What an amazing and authentic Colombian restaurant. I ordered the beans and rice with Maduros and everything was perfect! You may know Colombian food is very heavy otherwise I would have liked to order more but I had to save a little room for dessert. One true sign of an authentic Colombian restaurant is their breads (Pan de bono was served and it was amazing) and their dessert. Not tiramisu but brevas con queso. This is truly Colombian and is great when you can find it. This is a nice and clean restaurant with real Colombian food. I highly recommend it. read more

I was visiting a friend in the area and he spoke about wanting to try this Columbian restaurant food and decided to try it, and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent Laura our server was very attentive friendly and super helpful with the menu explaining the menu and choices we could make. The food was super delicious I had the mini Bandeja Paisa and everything was delicious and freshly made, we also ordered the Pollo salteado and as well was super savory and delicious. The vibe in the restaurant was that of Columbia music and decoration very bright and of Columbian scenery. The prices were super affordable, and will definitely be back when in the area. read more

Shrimp taste not fresh. Beef was so chewy, beans taste like can beans and mozzarella stick came with ketchup and we had to ask for the sauce few times until they bring to us. The menu includes standards like arepas (optionally with cheese or chicharrones), bandera pais in maxi or mini versions, empanadas and steak, but there are also some seafood options and salads. This is a Columbian resturant with typical dishes. It is reasonably priced with large portions. The wait staff are really nice and attentive. I would say $$ a plate. This was my third visit to La Bella Colombia restaurant (09/04/2024 at 12:48pm - Server Laura). The last time I invited two friends last month, but the experience I had today 04/09/2024 it was really frustrating. I ordered two (2) lunches ($25.66) to go and asked them to please put the green salad on the side; since the food would be hot and would arrive spoiled at home. To my surprise, the server Laura told me that I would have to pay extra??? I also asked for 2 chimichurri sauces (those are tiny) because I was paying for two meals; and her response was that they are only authorized to give me one...even though I paid for two meals??? I thought that I found a nice/good place with Colombian food, but I will definitively remain loyal customer of La Antioquena restaurant (also in Lake Mary, FL.), which is way better, and their servers are very nice and always go the extra mile to make you feel happy. Hope their owners John Zamudio (President) and Sandra P. Vargas would read my comments, because with this practice and me sharing my experience this with the social media, family and friends, without doubt their business will not succeed. I came across great reviews of this place and thought I'd give it a try. So glad I did. The restaurant is located on a sidewalk with minimal attention to itself which is why I never noticed this place before and I shop in the Home Goods plaza often. Upon entering, we were greeted by a beautiful and polite hostess and a handsome gentleman was our waiter. He explained the items on the menu with patience and offered great service as well! The atmosphere is relaxing with big screen TVs all Spanish channels (recommend one in English) . Comfortable Booths line the side walls with table and chairs in center of restaurant. Decor minimal but the flavor of the food is grande! We tried the delicious empanadas filled to the brim with beef and chicken. Both delicious, but beef my favorite!! Pork rinds fried to a crisp, perfecto! Beans on the side flavor packed like no other and steak tender served with tostones. Green chimichurri sauce couldn't get enough.; paired well with everything. Fried red tilapia crispy enough to chew the small bones and well seasoned. The beer with the mango was different with salt in the beer of your choice. How bout that waffle ice cream dessert? I don't see another location for this place, but they have a second location on Lake Mary Blvd., in Lake Mary next to the Stacked Brownies and down the way from Brooklyn Water Bagel. We were lucky to get in here before they closed tonight, and everything came out very nice. We started with a couple of Columbian beers, and that hit the spot after a day on the beach. We got a chicken empanada and a beef enpanada for the warmup. They came out pretty quickly and were very hot! These empanadas are different from the kind I usually think of when I get an empanada, since the Colombians use a corn based wrap. It came with a hot sauce and a cilantro sauce to dip. I liked them a lot. I had a Churrasco Steak, which is a skirt steak. I asked for it medium, and with the sizzling fajita type platter they serve it on, that was never going to happen. But the steak wa still pretty tender, if not really seasoned, so I put some salt and pepper on it and it was pretty tasty. The tostones and beans and rice were all very good. My lady had the Fried Redfish, and this is obviously what I need to get next time. Even though I thought it was strange that a fried fish would have that much sauce on it, it was really delicious! Fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was excellent! The servers were all very nice, and they had a lot of choices on the menu. After trying a few other Colombian places in the area, I think this one is my favorite. I will be back. read more
