Wow, I read some people's review and my experience was definitely different from theirs. First, it's not Simon Meds fault if your insurance sucks and you should contact your doctor who requested the imaging to find out the outcome. The scheduler contacted me to schedule an appointment. I was not a fan of the scheduler because of the heavy Indian accent and lack of listening to me but I won't dock the stars on this location because of him. I arrived on time and waited. Apparently, a prior authorization was not done for my secondary insurance but luckily it was quick. Who's fault was that? They obviously had it on file but if they have an authorization department, that person didn't do their job. My tech was Gregory. He was very kind and sweet and I told him I was hesitant on visiting this location but glad I did because he made a difference with my experience. He talked me through my whole time there with what he was doing and waht he was going to do. I was able to get 2 blankets because I'm always cold. He also was patient while trying to get the contrast needle in. My veins are not the best but he managed to secure the needle on the second try. MRI PATIENTS BEWARE! I recently went to get a MRI done at this SimonMed Imaging center in Las Vegas and I had a horrible and very dangerous experience. I was told three times by a very young and very arrogant lab tech who did my MRI that I definitely DID NOT need to remove the two metal partial dentures in my mouth for my MRI even though my head would be inside the MRI machine during the MRI. The older and more experienced woman assisting this arrogant kid did not say a word while he insisted to me that I could and should wear my metal dentures in the MRI. Fortunately I did not listen to this idiot lab tech boy doing my MRI and I removed my metal dentures at the last minute before getting in the MRI machine. That decision might have saved my life I found out later. I have no idea how in the world something like this could ever happen, but it did. Fortunately I remembered from a previous MRI that ALL METAL needed to be removed from my mouth and my entire body to avoid DEATH OR SERIOUS BODILY INJURY!! I have since talked to several doctors and personal injury lawyers about this MRI experience and they all agree this was either total and complete incompetence by two SimonMed employees or maybe something much worse like racism!! The problem with wearing metal in a MRI machine is that it can not just screw up the tests and damage the MRI machine, IT CAN ALSO KILL YOU OR CAUSE SERIOUS AND PERMANENT BODILY HARM!!! Since my job changed insurance carriers, this was my only option. First off the customer service to schedule a biopsy (which is already a horrifying experience) was atrocious. The reps answering the phones lacked empathy and care for me and basically gave me the run around because my ultrasound wasn't done by them. It took over a month to schedule an appointment. The day BEFORE my biopsy, they tell me it's $1000 co pay. WTF? The day before. They won't bill me either, they need money up front. I come to the appointment and the waiting room is disgusting. The chairs, bathroom and space were untidy and unkept. I paid the co pay and there was a 5% surcharge for using a credit card that was NOT told to me until after I tapped my card. Way to take MORE money out of your patients. This place is a joke and quite frankly, it's what you get when you have shitty insurance. Since switching from my PPO to Cigna, this is the only option I have. It's sad to see the healthcare system drop so drastically. I really hope I don't ever have to come here again? read more

The two in Henderson that I went to has reception staff that is just awful .I was due for a surgery which I had to postpone because one of Henderson location was a mess. My insurance company is trying to save money, so they dropped Desert Radiology and went to Simon Med. I needed a simple XRay, and they are walk-in only. I got there at 4:30 THREE times, and was told that they couldn't do my test. On the fourth try, I got it done. The XRay tech was really good and friendly. read more

You have to wait over an hour with an appointment. I saw the Dr and he said he would put in a referral for an MRI. After 2 weeks of waiting I called them. They have no records of any referrals. Tried calling the actual facility on 3 separate occasions and nobody answers the phone. The appointment desk can't do anything until a referral is put in. I am waiting 10 days for results and keep getting the run around each time I call. Extremely frustrating! I can't chat with a person at the facility I actually had my Dexa Scan at which is 7455 Washington Blvd I can't get any info on why it is taking so long to generate my results for my primary and myself to review!! A doctor ordered an imaging with SimonMed for something I didn't request and don't need. He never told me. In the subsequent three weeks I have received call after call from SimonMed to arrange and appointment, and each one has said they will make sure it is taken care of. The calls keep coming. Today the rep told me that "the system takes time to update." That excuse might have worked in 1970, but not now. They have a volume hustle going, dependent on endless annoyance. SimonMed Imaging in Las Vegas, particularly in Flamingo road is a great center, there are so accommodating and trained customer service representative in front and they will immediately call your name in less than 10-15 min or so.... Don't know why the reviews are so bad for this place, glad I went. Today (Tuesday) I had an appointment for a CT scan at 3:30 pm at the Flamingo location. I downed some molecular hydrogen (helps with radiation) on my way there and was worried there would be a wait to get in (it has to be taken 30 mins before your scan). I walked in, checked in right away, the front desk staff was pleasant. I used the restroom, it was clean. I sat down and sent a text then was called back by a gentleman who introduced himself as the person who would be doing my scan. It went really fast, and the injection felt like literally nothing. In and out and done. If anything happens with getting the results back, I'll update this review, but otherwise I'm a happy camper! read more

Can now attest to other reviews that say this company will bill you after the fact for random charges. My case was very straightforward as a cash payer I was quoted for a pet scan 2025.00 and MRI 595.00, had to pay prior to doing. Expensive but easy done, nope today 3/9/26 get a bill for 1425 charged to my card. Call the overseas billing department just to get some mumbo jumbo as to why. So now while dealing with a serious medical emergency have to also stress about this. Heartless and potentially fraudulent behavior. I would give this place 0 stars my mom went to get a breast biopsy for first appointment. It turned out to be cancer. She was there for a total if 6 hours. Second time went there to retag cancer. My mom was face down for hours and Dr. Jayne tagged the wrong area for a second time. I called corporate office to make a complaint and did not receive a call back or letter. My mom had a terrible facial rash from being face down on both sides of her face. She was there fir a total if about 6 hours and her cancer surgery was delayed. My 81 year old mom who is diabetic did not deserve to be treated so badly. read more

Horrible experience first time coming to this place. The VA sent me here to do a liver check. Apparently there's something that the VA requested on the order that this facility doesn't do. And that's fine, that's not the problem. They call me the day before telling me about the situation and still had me come in the next day even though they don't do the type of x-ray the VA recommended. Again thats not the problem, the problem is they had me sitting there past the time my appointment was, not one of those females at the front desk came to me to let me know they wouldn't be able to see me even though they check me in. Talking about they were trying to contact to VA on a Friday about the order. They been had the order almost a month ago. But they waiting 2 days before to try to contact the VA. Why would they not come to me to let me know that, instead of just sitting there waiting. If I didn't go up to the front desk and ask "what's taking so long" i would've just still be sitting there until closing time. I have 3 kids that I need to go get and be with. Why waste my time. So unprofessional and the girls at the front desk had a nasty bad attitude. One of those females kept coming out to close the door so at the point, she could've said something instead of looking at me. Cause I wasn't going to close the front doors that yall customers left open every time they walked out. Not my job. Worst customer service ever and employees. And how they don't have a manager or supervisor not working there, especially for situations like this. Terrible Customer Service. My husband's doctor referred him to SimonMed for a lumbar MRI and a "sitting" brain MRI (both with and without contrast). We called to schedule the appointment. The scheduler took all of the information we provided and scheduled for 03/10 for the Centennial Hills location. He confirmed everything and said their was be no copay. I asked him to please verify that. He put us on hold for some time and came back and said he confirmed no copay (We had provided insurance information). Issue one: A couple of days before the appointment, we get notified that there is, in fact, a $1000+ copay. Issue two: The day before the appointment, My husband as a missed call from SimonMed asking to call them back. He works graveyard, so by the time he woke called them (around 4:30pm), they were closed. On 03/10, while on the way to his appointment, he got a call from SimonMed saying they just noticed that the doctors notes called for a "sitting" MRI of the brain and that they did not have a machine at Centennial Hills that could perform it. There is only one machine like that and it is at their Craig Rd location. They need to reschedule him. THE FIRST AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT THERE IS 03/31. Seven days AFTER his follow up appoint with the doctor to review the results of these scans. No offer to try to squeeze him in earlier because it was THEIR ERROR. My husband has been living with pain because of possible complications from a spine surgery in October of 2025. These scans are to help get to the bottom of it and now he is being forced to live another month in pain with no possible answers. read more

Phenomenally there were about ten patients waiting at the front desk for twenty minutes. The receptionist simply walked away and never was replaced. They cancelled my MRI 3 times in one day.. like really? This is crazy ridiculous for someone fighting a battle of cancer to deal with. I had a SCHEDULED appointment to receive a bone density test with Simon med on East Flamingo. This company called and texted EVERYDAY, but not once mentioned the machine was broke. Mind you. Watch out for these guys. The staff is nice, but if you do some homework, you will find that SimonMed is notorious for surprise medical billings. And they keep piling on these charges. I have a feeling they won't stop unless you take some kind of action, which I plan to do. I will legally dispute these charges. I had been waiting months for a breast ultrasound and they waited until the literal moment I showed up to claim I couldn't have it. As I showed up to the front desk to check in (having took off early from work to be there) I heard someone in the back say my name. She came up to the front and told me I wouldn't be able to have the ultrasound because the insurance requires a mammogram first. I was upset they waited until I was standing there to tell me something and I had been told by my doctor due to my age I needed the ultrasound first. They said they would call the doctor to verify and sent me with paperwork to have a seat. Shortly after I was taken to the back and told that they could still do it but it wasn't guaranteed to be covered by the insurance and that I would have to sign a waiver because ultrasounds aren't as thorough and if I end up having cancer I can't sue. I found the whole thing incredibly odd and was very upset. I've had pain for months, breast cancer on both sides of my family, and missed work so you could tell me this now? I guess they felt that my feelings weren't valid and they sent a woman named Belen to talk to me like some hysterical woman. I left and went to my doctor's office who were confused but gave me the mammogram order. I decided to go with Steinberg instead and was told because I'm under 40 the mammogram isn't covered by my insurance and I have to have an ultrasound. You mean the ultrasound Simon Med said wasn't covered and refused to do without some weird waiver? I'm so furious. Simon Med doesn't want to be sued because they miss something but instead it should be for negligence. On March 24, 2025, I had a CT Cardiac Calcium Score scan at SimonMed Imaging located at 3560 E. Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas. I presented my insurance card, but the front desk staff told me that no insurance company would cover the cost of this kind of CT scan. A few days later, I called my insurance company, and they told me the procedure was fully covered. As a result, I had to file a claim myself, but the insurance company rejected it and said SimonMed needed to submit the claim. Only after the insurance company called SimonMed directly. SimonMed agreed to handle the billing--but they said it would take 30 to 35 days. The staff in SimonMed had lied to me and misled me. If I hadn't called the insurance company myself, I would never have discovered this dishonest side of their operation. read more

Dear SimonMed Management, I'm writing to share my serious concerns about how my recent brain scan appointment was handled at your Ranch Road facility. My neurologist ordered a scan with and without contrast, and after coordinating with your staff, we scheduled an appointment. Originally, we set it for a Tuesday but Simon med canceled that he rescheduled for the coming Saturday, but I was later told that SimonMed does not contract on Saturdays, so I rescheduled for 12:20 PM on December 1. When I arrived around noon, I was told the facility was running FOUR hours behind schedule. This delay is unacceptable and disrespectful to patients' time. Those of us awaiting scans are often dealing with significant anxiety about our health, and being asked to sit in an uncomfortable lobby for hours only adds unnecessary stress. I was scheduled for a mammogram last week for concerning symptoms, but suddenly the appointment slot was taken away and I had to wait a week, fine. If I could give zero stars I would -the WORST experience and waste of time. The mammogram tech was rude and negative about my being able to get my ultrasound results/images. I should have been told they needed me to bring those results to my appointment. When I asked to call my Dr it was ignored & the tech was told they could NOT perform the mammogram and to reschedule. Be prepared to wait. I came in at 2:15 for a 2:30 and left close to 4:30. It took an hour to get into my appointment that had been scheduled weeks ahead. At 8 months pregnant most are not really in the mood for unexpected waiting and being in an environment where everyone isn't exactly feeling well. THEY DID NOTHING BESIDES TEXT AS IF THAT WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE! IT'S NOT! Just like it wouldn't be acceptable if a scheduled patient decided to arrive a hour late!!! They can do that!!!! And Simon Medical will not get away with doing this to me!!!! SAME DIFFERENCE I had my appointments scheduled first and then I called off work for those days. The scheduler Brian new my plans I told him of my other appointment today at 3:30 pm and I WILL NOT BE MISSING IT. I told him that I am scheduled for my ENT on Monday 05/06 and I needed a sooner appointment from Simon Medical so that a Scan could be done days in advance. When patients are later arriving their appointments are considered a NO SHOW. Offices never have an issue with calling it how they see it and some will charge the patient. So in this letter I AM CALLING IT HOW I SEE IT... I had an appointment 05/03/2024 at 1:30 PM and they decided that another patient deserves MY APPOINTMENT!!!!!!! He doesn't answer my e-mails and left no direct phone line in the e-mail that he sent to me to request a phone interview, so that he can be reached by phone. So, I tried to locate SimonMed's corporate office to find out how to reach Cameron and thank GOD and Jesus I did. The staff are bungling, stupid, uninformed, and I suspect borderline retarded! One hand wouldn't know what the other is doing if the second hand was being burned with a blowtorch by the first hand! Plus, these scathing YELP reviews have shown me the light! WORST COMPANY IN LAS VEGAS!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! In March of this year I scheduled a Virtual Colonoscopy at SimonMed Imaging on Maryland Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV. I was told that I needed to come to the facility to get my "kit". I went to the location on Maryland Pkwy and after waiting for about 20 minutes a technician came out to talk to me. Very nice man, and he explained everything about the procedure. However, they were short one item for the "kit" I was to use and was told I could get it from one of their other locations. They called and verified that the other location had it and would hold it for me. Off I went to get what I needed to complete my "kit". This other location was in Henderson. The lady at the front desk knew nothing, was not helpful, did not understand why I was there and obviously did not listen to anything I said. Lucky for me, I needed to use the restroom, and low and behold there was the technician from the other location. I talked to him. He remembered me, and went to get the bottle of liquid that was supposed to be for me, but had not been put aside for me even though they were asked to do so. Nonetheless, crisis averted. I had my procedure and thought that was the end of it!! Today, is the first notice that I received from SimonMed regarding my procedure which was done the last week of March 2025. My bill for the Virtual Colonoscopy is $2,487.00!!!! ***MEDICARE DOES NOT COVER THIS PROCEDURE. ****SIMONMED DID NOT TELL ME IT IS NOT COVERED BY MEDICARE EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW I HAD MEDICARE. JUST LIKE ANY HOSPITAL, THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE TO INFORM YOU THAT THE PROCEDURE YOU WANT, THAT THEY CAN PROVIDE, IS NOT COVERED!!!!!!!!! I checked with someone about this and Medicare does not cover a ROUTINE Virtual Colonoscopy!! I wonder why I even pay for medical coverage. ****I called SimonMed and talked with the billing department: ***THEY DO NOT AND WILL NOT GIVE ANY KIND OF DISCOUNT FOR CASH!! ***THEY DO CHARGE THE CREDIT CARD FEE TO THE PATIENT!! ***THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR THE PATIENT!! If I were you, and you are going to have something done at SimonMed Imaging, I would most certainly ask if it is covered because they don't care, as long as they get their money. GREEDY! GREEDY!
