The imaging technician that preformed the CT procedure was very professional with outstanding bedside manner. She took her time to make sure the procedure was done with the best results for the lab and my doctor to review. During the procedure, she told me about what was coming up and what to expect, so I was not surprised by any of the steps or chemicals used during the procedure. Also very pleasantly surprised that the wait time once I was in the back waiting area was under 10 minutes, before I was lead to the imaging room for the procedure. Solid 4 stars.

I can't understand why customer service is non existent and I was treated like an imposition on their day! When you're face to face with the technicians it is a warm caring experience. Phone calls are subpar and I was left with the question why take the job if you don't like people!

My appointment was at 12:30, and I arrived around 12:00, but I didn't get called back until a little after 1:00. The wait was longer than I expected, especially since I came early. However, once I was taken back, the tech made me feel comfortable and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated. After all of this nonsense, the only appointment was an appointment 4 days before my schedule Dr appointment. I'm sorry, but what world do you live in and expect any doctor to receive the accurate results in less than 4 days. Shame on you.

During check-in, the staff took the time to ask questions about my pain and realized the MRI order wasn't the best study for my tailbone. By then, my doctor's office and the insurance company were already closed and it looked like I'd have to reschedule. The woman at the front desk was absolutely incredible. She worked so hard to find a solution and never gave up. Thanks to her persistence and the entire team's professionalism, I was able to have the correct MRI done that evening. This location was really easy to get to. I ended up taking the 95 to Lake Mead, and followed Lake Mead up to Rampart. Pueblo Medical Imaging was located in a plaza with other medical offices. There was plenty of parking too! I had arrived a little early, around 4:00 P.M. It was relatively busy with appointments and walk-ins. The team at Pueblo Medical Imaging were amazing. They took me on time at my appointment time, which was 4:30. The team members walked me through the process and the MRI took less than 15 minutes! They covered my ears for the loud noises from the MRI! Afterwards, the team at Pueblo Medical Imaging provided me with a disk shortly after the MRI. No check-out was needed. I had a great experience at Pueblo Medical Imaging and would come back here again if needed!

Turns out their machine is so old that they cannot communicate with the patient during the MRI (no speaker system), which is required to do the MRI. This was a very important test that I needed for my doctor to make a diagnosis and treat me. The way that Kathleen was so callous and nonchalant about my health was shocking. Fast forward- appointment for 5/14/2026- confirmed they got the authorization and Claudia helped me and she was so sweet. She also helped me the first time. I changed into my gown and the tech went over paperwork with me. Long story short, Gidget (tech) was so nice and helpful. I explained that I have a stent or shunt in my head and she needed to get clearance or approval from her Chief since the MRI machine has a strong magnetic force. Ok, she then said they didn't receive the medical records which they've been trying to get. Ok, I said they should have reached out to me and I could've requested it. I did have a DISK with my records that I carry for this reason. She said her tech said it was corrupted. I was shocked as Steinberg just downloaded files the other day and it worked. I then said I have it in my email but at this point I'm uneasy and don't trust SDMI Operations. I was very angry and will have my doctor send his request for imaging to Steinberg instead. As a walk-in patient, the process was fairly painless and I was seen within an hour after arriving. Not bad considering it was after 5 pm! The staff was nice enough but didn't seem too professional, especially the lady at the front desk. Even worse, the estimated amount I owed and had to pay ended up being about $125 MORE than she originally quoted me (even with insurance). That dreaded bill in the mail arrived about two weeks later, and it was a nasty surprise especially after putting an expensive co-pay on a credit card during my initial visit. The facility seemed high tech and was clean, especially in the back. The lobby was uncomfortable and reminded me of a run down bus station. There were plenty of seats, but it's not the most pleasant place to have to sit and wait. Once I was taken in the back, the tech was super friendly and did a good job explaining what she was doing, which helped take the edge off an already stressful situation. She wasn't very thoughtful when it came to having me raise my arm for x-ray pictures, though, and I constantly had to keep reminding her that my arm was potentially broken (indeed it was) and trying to lift if over my head was incredibly painful. The entire x-ray process took less than 30 minutes, and they got the images to my doctor within two days. Yep, broken arm right at the shoulder! That meant I was able to get in to see an orthopedist for professional treatment that same week! I wouldn't make Pueblo Medical Imaging my first choice the next time I need x-rays, but it worked in a pinch and is great if you need to get some imaging done outside typical medical office hours.
