I've spent two hours on the phone today and sent EoBs that show a) the insurance company paid Pueblo the contracted rate and b) Pueblo actually OVERCHARGED me on my coinsurance by nearly **$200**. They're pursuing me for an out-of-pocket rate that is 5x the insurance-allowed rate. I'm only updating this review, because I've attempted to call Pueblo three times over the past two days, and they promise to call me back and don't. I'm not sure whether this is fraud or just pure incompetence, but do *NOT* seek services here. Going to the Attorney General if I get one more call or bill for these people. I had done the paperwork online so I did not have to sit there with the dumb dlipboard and get my info ready for the forms. The people were called in the order of their appointments. I was called and the gentleman who did the scan was polite and genial. Within 5 or so minutes, I was on my way out. I left the office about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. It felt like we were in a private movie theater. The technician was very nice and personable. She worked on my daughter and since the baby was asleep, made some suggestions on how to try and wake the baby up. Baby turned out to be stubborn so she offered a free revisit to see if baby would cooperate the next time. We left with a few videos of the sonogram and pictures. He originally told me we could when he reviewed the order but now he says we can't." HUH? What the hell? I asked why they can't do an abdomen MRI, which is a very common MRI. Turns out their machine is so old that they cannot communicate with the patient during the MRI (no speaker system), which is required to do the MRI. Then I asked "Has the tech made this error before?" Nope, this is the first time ever. Um ok, so I guess you just completely wasted several days of my time for no reason??? This was a very important test that I needed for my doctor to make a diagnosis and treat me. The way that Kathleen was so callous and nonchalant about my health was shocking. These guys are absolutely pathetic. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Go anywhere else! Call back in fight the AI again and then get with someone who confirms my appointment was still in the system. I asked to be transferred to someone in management to talk about their faulty AI and the auto generating system that was failing clients and get someone who theoretically was supposed to be management. Turns out it was another scheduler, and they had no power to do anything. Another Steinberg fail. After this test I willl not be going back to Steinberg and will be helping my friends and family to go to other providers as well. Why help them? I checked with the desk and she realized I've been waiting for over an hour and mentioned it to others in the office. A guy in the back then walked towards the back and I was told they were doing "maintenance" and don't know how long it will be. If that is true, shouldn't I been informed? I'm very observant and I've watched so many patients come and go all while I'm waiting!!!! I understand there's other procedures going on. No excuse for the wait or lack of communication! If you forgot me, be honest! Finally got called in and I needed to get a dye shot into me to do the imaging. They forgot to give me the diazepam because I'm claustrophobic prior to the procedure. So when I went to get the MRI I had to go in and I was freaking out but they couldn't give me the drug because it takes awhile for it to kick in and the dye would not be effective. Everyone was so not professional except the 2 guys doing the MRI! They were patient and trying to ease my anxiety! To say I'm upset and frustrated is an understatement! I needed a standard imaging test and requested first available any location, any day, any time. The first available appointment was 6 weeks out. This was for a diagnostic test to rule out something potentially suspicious so time was a factor. After accepting the appointment I decided to call around and sure enough I was able to get in to another diagnostic facility in 2 weeks. Not 6. I hated the thought of switching after so many years of testing with Steinberg but couldn't wait 6 weeks. To summarize, staff are great. Service is great but if I can't get time sensitive testing done in a reasonable timeframe I can't be a customer here.
