My service date was two months ago and my insurance processed the claim and paid a month ago! Yet after multiple calls, Central Billing can't make the adjustment per the EOB and send me my bill. Ridiculous and incompetent! I have asked to talk to management and twice escalated issue. UHC even called. I'll go try SimonMed next year.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get get an appointment until a few weeks later and it was at 2:45 which required that I fast all day. They did put me on a cancellation wait list and did call with a followup. The facility was easy to find, with plenty of parking. When I arrived, I was immediately summoned to the front desk where I got the business completed. It was a friendly and easy process. After being seated, I was called in at my scheduled appointment time. The young lady was very friendly and did a skilled job at inserting my IV. My MRI tech was also very friendly and communicated constantly during the MRI process. Everything they did was well planned and executed. I had X-rays 7/29/2024 that was a Monday and by Friday they had not read them. Had to make some…read morecalls to them and they said they were backed up with the doctor that reads the x-rays. She recommended that my service provider has to call them back and say there is a stat on reading those x-rays. I was really hurting. I needed explanation as to my cause of pain. My PA after they read the x-rays that really didn't show anything wrong with my cervical area. She then ordered an MRI. Another week went by and then I was able to get an MRI and then I knew where I was at.

After several frustrating phone calls and a bit of a wait, we were able to get what was needed and my mom had her procedure. While I know this wasn't the fault of the front desk staff, it was still a bit of a frustrating experience. That being said, we're happy that we were able to get it done. The facility itself was large and spacious, had plenty of parking and appeared clean - at least in the waiting room. As with any medical procedure, it's not a fun business to visit, so we're really hoping that her results are shared soon and that we will not have to return!

So l arrived and paid up front (because they require that) and sat down until they called my name. I was instructed to strip down to only my underwear and put on a gown. Then I had to wait in a waiting room with 5 other people in a gown in my underwear! They finally took me in and tried to put me in the MRI machine, So I asked "what about my x-ray?". I was then given attitude and was told to go and wait in the waiting room AGAIN in my boxers and gown. 20 minutes later I get called for my X-ray. Get the x-ray then go back to the shared waiting room A THIRD time for another 15 minutes! Then they called me for my MRI and this actually went smooth I was in shock. I got home and checked my bill and realized that I was charged $40 for the X-Ray that was supposed to be "free" and they were going to skip and ignore it! If I had metal in my eyes and they ignored it I would have been blind for the rest of my life! My woman contacted a rep of theirs and they made excuses for what had happened rather than try to help! Go somewhere else! This place is a massive Joke!!!

I have only positive things to say about him; he really spends his time with you and explains what's happening! However, I have continually had negative experiences with the office staff. Despite my great experience with Dr. Johns, I am heavily considering finding a new provider due to the difficulty in dealing with the administrative staff. When I was having difficulties with a new medication, I called the office staff to leave a message for Dr. Johns, and I never heard back. I did so again a couple days later...and again never heard back. I called a third time, and learned that the first two people hadn't even recorded the message - there was no record of it in my chart or anywhere else! Additionally, I am bombarded with advertisement emails, which you cannot unsubscribe from, because it would also unsubscribe you from appointment reminder emails. This feels like a very predatory practice for a doctor's office, especially one primarily aimed at an older audience. It feels incredibly money-grubby. Dr. Johns is incredibly helpful, but I cannot recommend the practice due to the administrative staff, who are sometimes unhelpful to the point of being actively counterproductive. All 3 of the stars I am giving are for him alone.

After the MRI was done I told them again my doctor was waiting for the results and they told me the radiologist left and I would have the results on Monday. I should have gone to the emergency room instead of driving an hour to get there. Super fast, easy and friendly service. This was a very nice and clean medical office. Was greeted right when I walked in and they told me to have a great day as I left. They had a nice dressing room and personal lockers to put your stuff in while you were getting your imaging which was very nice and made it more personal. Everyone was super nice and respectful.
