I called and even drove back to the gas station as soon as I realized my wallet was missing and asked them if anybody seen or returned a wallet? They told me no, and when I asked if the gas station had a camera they told me no. But I'm sure every gas station you go to is equipped with cameras. So I decided to get in touch with someone from their store and I had asked them if they have any cameras at this pacific location and they told me yes. So I told them that I had called and one of their employee told me they didn't have any. Really suspicious. Then they also told me that someone will check into the surveillance camera on the day I was there pumping gas and would get back to me in a 48-72 hours. I said okay. A week goes by nobody has gotten in touch with me. So I decided to reach out again and they told me the same thing that they'll escalate it to management and someone will get in touch with me within 3-5 business days. I said okay. Another week goes by no one still hasn't reach out to me and now I'm getting very upset. So I called and reach out to someone again and ask them what's taking so long for someone to contact me because now its been almost a month since someone gotten in touch with me. So I asked if I should go there in person and as soon as I said that they got back to me right away. So they were reviewing the camera and once they got to the date I was there. They claim there were no footage of me from the time I was there but there was a clip from an hour after I was there. Very fishy!! And also said they only have motion sensor and that the camera didn't show the last pump I was at. So after all this. I don't think I'll ever bring my business here or to any bjs wholesale store after this experience. I don't want make a huge deal even though I was sad because my whole life was pretty much in that wallet.

They told me they replaced all 4 spark plugs and engine filter due to a misfire on cylinder 1. On Wednesday, July 23, my engine light came back on. I called and got the car in next day. I was told that the car had coolant leaking and that I could have a cracked head gasket - costing well over $3k but that they weren't sure that was 100% the issue. I took my car back to get a second opinion. If my car had really had a bad head gasket my engine would have overheated, I would have smelled anti freeze in the oil, and/or notice black smoke when driving. I had none of these symptoms. Take a look at the supposedly "new" spark plugs. There is no way that these spark plugs were two weeks old. My new mechanic actually replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils. This place also intentionally unplugged my vacuum line so my new mechanic had to fish for it and replace it. I do not recommend this place and Fred's service. I feel manipulated as a woman taking her car to be fixed and being told certain things were done and bigger fixes needed to be made. It looks to me that they just took the code off, wanted me to come back, tell me it was a bigger service, allow them to fix it, and then actually replace the spark plugs for way over the price. I cannot believe such awful mechanics exist. Please, do not take your car here. You are better off finding a different mechanic. There is absolutely no way these were the spark plugs that were supposedly replaced on July 17. I am doubtful this shop has Ford spark plugs, that these would have so much buildup after just two weeks, one is cracked, and one isn't gapped. This is not the place for quality service.

Elsewhere, drivers park at gas stations, fill up their gas tank, use the restroom, perform safety checks, etc. all without being rushed out. Being rushed out without properly doing your safety checks and wearing your seat belts can cause safety hazards. This gas station needs to learn the proper etiquette in running a gas station in the United States. The owner or his son is being too profit driven and its scarcity mindset, risking customers/drivers' safety.

Doctor Auto is a great place to bring your car for service. What really stuck out to me is unlike other small repair shops, these guys embrace technology! You get a comprehensive vehicle report that is texted to you with pictures of your vehicle, not a stock photo, along with recommendations to keep your car running smoothly. They also threw in a 3 year warranty on my repairs which was great peace of mind. Not sure if this is a standard Doctor Auto thing or if it was based on the work I had done, but most shops don't even mention any of that stuff. Give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed!

These people act nice but the level of laziness and incompetence here is astronomical. Do yourself a favor and take the car somewhere THATS NOT HERE and that actually cares about your car AND your opinion. STAY AWAY!
