If I could give NO or negative starts I would. Gina's brows are crappy at best. I go to Tova at ALONSAY in Studio City on Moorpark street and she blows Gina's brows away. So much so that when they grow in, it isn't that big of a deal and they look way more natural than Gina's. Four years ago, due to a change in my financial situation, I had to cut out luxuries like having my brows waxed. Being over 50, I can't SEE all the little eyebrow hairs very well and it's hard to pluck wearing glasses even with a magnifying mirror. ! I use yelp a lot to look up businesses but have never wrote a review myself until today. I just needed to express how extremely happy I was when I went to see Gina at the Howard Kurtz Salon last week. My brows were a mess. I have not found someone who can make them look natural and yet get a shape that compliments my face. I didn't want them so thin that I had to pencil in anything either. I let them grow out and decided to try someone new. I also have not been able to find a concealer for my extra dry skin. Gina was so professional and sweet. She took the time to answer all the questions I had. I can't even explain how happy I was when I left last week. So many of my friends have said I look amazing, and tried to figure out what was different. When I said it was my brows, they all said how it has made my face and eyes just light up. And now after using a new lotion Gina recommended and concealer from her Simple Beauty line of make-up for my skin, I feel like a new person. It's only been a week, but I had to post what a difference she has made in my life. I've read many posts on this site about the salon and Gina and just saw a negative one on Gina before posting this.
