He was in the area so he came by in about 10 minutes. My washing machine was rocking around during the spin cycle, causing all kinds of havoc and noise. Simple Repairs Appliance is simply the Best! I was having problems with my gas dryer in my manufactured home. I found Simple Repairs Appliance on-line, read all the positive reviews, then I texted Johnny to inquire about his service. Upon his quick response, I told him about the condensation accumulation build-up when my dryer was in use & he quickly diagnosed the problem - and he was right on. The problem is fixed for now, but he further advised me to contact a licensed HVAC/contractor to have the issue permanently corrected to avoid the same problem in the near future - due to the housing codes. Johnny Hai, man this guy is a living proof that good, honest, fair, and hard working guys exist. I had a problem with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer and an ice maker. Every step of the way, he explained why things were broken like a domino effect, everything followed one after another. I've learned so much. For instance: 1. Never put dishes with food in the dishwasher. It will clog the bottom two filters. 2. The freezer/ refrigerator; never leave it open for longer periods of time, or you can get an ice build up which can block the flow of ice to the refrigerator, which then can ruin the temperature for the food to go bad. 3. It's important to clean the refrigerator at the bottom where the air suctions are, otherwise, more problems = more money. He was very honest with pricing and quality. My washing machine was leaking, but it was not a plumbing problem. Being in need of a repair appliance company, I searched on Yelp and came across this company. With all 5 star reviews, I was a bit skeptical so I did some further research and found this business lived up to its 5 star reviews and decided to take a chance for myself. I called the phone number and spoke to Johnny, the owner. Johnny took the time to try and diagnose the problem first before coming out. He asked me to send pictures to him and then proceeded to have me follow some steps to see where the leak was actually coming from. I also sent him a short video in addition to the pictures. Johnny then said that he would come by to see what the actual cause of the problem was. Before coming, Johnny made sure to give me a price up front so that I wouldn't have any surprises. Upon inspection, Johnny figured out the problem and fixed it immediately. After finishing the job, Johnny ended up charging me less than the initial amount that he had given me. Johnny gave me pointers on how to maintain the machine and even gave a free inspection of some of our other appliances. Contacted Johnny due to my washer leaving dirt after few washes and wasn't sure if it was the washer or water pump. Johnny was booked but managed to come later that same day to check it out. I also mentioned about the washer sometimes stopping or adding too much water. After running few tests, he recommended washer cleaner tablets a few times to clean the washer. He did recommend possibly updating the rods if washer stops even with a low load. He also checked out my fridge since it would sometimes make loud fan noise and things will freeze to the point I could not open my freezer section. He said the door sealant gaskets need to be replaced in this case and it was easy fix but the sooner the better. So glad I found a reliable and honest appliances repair person! read more

John cleaned out the system and replaced the pump. Dishwasher works great now. John also helped fix my washing machine that made a loud noise. Johny was one of the only businesses I contacted that asked for more information about my issue BEFORE immediate seeking to scheduling a service call. From initial communications, it was clear that he understood my needs and even preemptively warned me that this my specific issue might not be worth parts/labor to fix due to the age of our washing machine. Ultimately, I scheduled with him to come out and formally diagnose my machine just so I could have the peace of mind (for which the diagnostic fee he quoted was more than reasonable). After taking a few minutes to check underneath the unit, he confirmed the worst case scenario - total gearbox/drive unit failure while also showing me pictures of the damage, leaking gearbox oil underneath the unit, ect. In the end we chose not to fix our older style washing machine due the complexity of the job and cost - Johny even told me that he would feel bad doing the work as he would like to see us instead invest in a newer unit with a longer service life. Beyond ALL OF THAT, he then also refused to charge me for the diagnostic fee.
