This was my first time at the food truck park, and I have one question: Where are handicapped people supposed to park?? Anyway, on with the show... The truck is around a couple corners, so you might have to explore a little bit to find it. Don't expect anything extraordinary because the truck itself is quite plain. I feel like they would attract a lot more attention if they jazzed it up and made it look more like a place I really want to order something from. Service was as meh as it could get without the person actually looking at me and saying meh. She didn't seem to care whether I was there or not. As for the ice cream, the chocolate was fine but nothing special. The pecan was not butter pecan but simply pecan, and what nuts there were were quite small as well as few and far between. Bubblegum tasted like--guess what? If it had had actual small pieces of gumball in it, it would have been more fun and more interesting. The coconut was exceptional, with great flavor and small flecks of actual coconut. The cookie flavor had a good number of add-ins (Oreo and chocolate chip cookie pieces). If I were to go back, I'd hope for friendly service and I'd order the coconut ice cream.

I don't discriminate with food so you will find me at a nice restaurant, a truck, a cart, a dive…read morerestaurant, a bar and in back of the liquor store hot table. I stumbled across this place with my Yelp trick, if you are in an area away from home look for restaurants in the area because you will see options that don't show on the generic Yelp search from home and I do this while traveling also. Ok the low down on this hidden gem and I always say that you have to get off of Main Street and into the neighborhoods no matter how good or bad they are because that's where the nuggets are. This is a small neighborhood market/liquor store with a diverse hot food table that is like soul food crashed into Puerto Rican food with cat fish, fried chicken, chicken soup, bbq looking food and Puerto Rican classics. I had no service issues and everyone was friendly but some Yelpers might have a problem with the area but it's never stopped me. I was only there Puerto Rican items even though the fried chicken was very tempting. The P/R rice was a definite and I had to ask about other items like the potato ball and the dark tamale looking thing. The P/R rice was seasoned slightly compared to rest of my food and clumpy with beans in it. The potato ball was fu%king delicious and amazing seasoned nicely. It's like a crispy thin pastry shell that has a layer of mashed potatoes and a ground beef center, shepherds pie in a ball OMG I have to have again. The dark cigar looking thing is similar to a tamale with like a plant based texture/taste with shredded pork inside that was seasoned well and spiced nicely. OMG this is such a delicious gem in the back of a liquor store and well worth the drive so I can't wait to go back.

I was hungry and in the mood to get something to take home so there we were. I should say that their beer prices and selection are pretty good for the size and location of the store. They generally have Dogfish Head, Three Sheeps, and a few others that you don't always find everywhere even if they're not exactly rare. Prices are generally good for the other items in the store too. There's a lot of teas and some other dry goods. But we were there for the deli. It was definitely past peak hours and some items were sold out. But I got some (yellow?) rice and some beef stew. The seasoned rice was flavorful for being so deceptively simple. The beef stew was good too if a little salty. I would definitely come back more toward lunchtime. I've always liked the mom-and-pop "neighborhood" vibe about Pueblo too. If I lived closer I would be there more often.

I had such a wonderful date night thanks to Charcuter-Me! I have worked at wine bars and cheese…read moreshops and gained an appreciation for both - nothing made me feel more proud than watching a table post pictures of a cheese board I'd created for them. Well these boards make mine look like preschool drawings. I ordered the Date Night board, which says it feeds two or snacks four. It was just two of us so picked up a couple bottles of wine to accompany it, and attempted to take credit for doing the whole thing myself. After obviously being called out, I couldn't wait to dig in! The board contained four different kinds of (all awesome) cheeses, four different kinds of wildly different meats, cheese-stuffed olives, dried and fresh fruit, chocolates, nuts, honeys, and jams. It was such a great mix of unique ingredients that I haven't tried - while still hitting those familiar notes that I like. After initially worrying we'd devour it and not have enough, I was pleased when we couldn't even quite finish the board! The only thing that I wish were included that wasn't would be a little ramekin of mustard. Prices were fair, pickup was smooth, and quality was through-the roof. With other boards like dessert, charcuterie cones, and endless possibilities, I will definitely be ordering from here again!
