One of those was easy to let go of - the person who visited our house had strange personal habits and felt comfortable sitting on our bed and brushing pencil eraser bits onto our pillows. The second one came really close, and it was a hard final decision. They offered a different approach than Tailored and there were strong points to both. In the end, the connection we made with the designer, Nick, and his willingness to dive into the challenge, won us over. With our input, he came up with really great custom concepts including an entryway closet that had a couple elements that they don't typically do. One was an area where mail could drop from the mail slot, and the other was slide out shoe trays. We still look at those and smile. The on-site installers were great. The lead installer Cassidy was our main point of contact and did a great job. We'd done some other renovation prior to the closets, and our expectations for communication were formed by those other contractors. He was respectful throughout the install, patient with our questions, and always let us know what to expect. Personally, I also appreciated the way he worked with the other installers, too. He looked like a good mentor for the others. Kudos to him and the rest of the team, Luis, Kevin and Ismael. I'll be surprised if Luis isn't in a leadership role there soon! The installation was so professionally done, with plumb walls and level shelves, that it revealed how unlevel our flooring is. When that left some gaps, the company recommended a solution to mask that without changing the original design. Cassidy came back out, assisted by Victor, and made those updates in just a few hours. Overall, this was a great experience, and we recommend the company.

They were also upfront about needing extra time due to some areas requiring more attention, which I really appreciated. Janet continued to check in with me via text during the entire process. Kaela and Sofia did an amazing job! Their attention to detail is exceptional. Everything looks brand new (honestly cleaner than when we first moved in). Three of the units were cleaned very poorly, and we received complaints from the new tenants immediately after they moved in. We documented the issues with numerous photos and shared both the photos and tenant complaints with the company. Even more concerning, the cleaners did not show up to clean the remaining two units as scheduled, yet we were still charged for those services. Despite providing clear documentation of the missed and inadequate work, the company has refused to issue a refund and instead only offered a small discount. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company for move-out cleaning, especially if you are managing multiple properties and need reliable, thorough service.

She just held a trash bag for me to put my donation stuff and another bag to put stuff I wanted to throw away. She helped take everything downstairs, but left all the trash down there and didn't help me haul it to the trash cans outside. She was real happy to take my stuff to be "donated" and even took my old iPhone to try to sell it. I thought she meant she was going to help me sell it, but apparently she just wanted to sell it and keep the money for herself. She also tried to cut the session short. When I contacted her a few days later she told me that we could discuss options for storage that would be most efficient with my space. She told me it would cost $150/hr for that. I already paid $500 for her to basically hold trash bags for me to fill. I definitely feel like I did not get what I paid for. I was really disappointed. I would recommend finding someone on task rabbit, who is more affordable. I wish I had.
