Kaela and Sofia arrived right on time, did a quick walkthrough, and got started immediately. I was disappointed with my experience. The cleaner was polite and the areas she completed were cleaned well, but the service was incredibly inefficient. I booked a 4-hour cleaning for my approximately 900-square-foot apartment. After 2.5 hours, only one bedroom and one bathroom had been cleaned. When I pointed out that there was still an entire bedroom, another bathroom, the kitchen, living area, and all the floors left to do, I asked if she could clean a little less meticulously so she'd have time to finish the rest of the apartment. Her response was that I should have told her that earlier, despite the service being presented as a 4-hour cleaning. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that four hours is enough time to clean a 900-square-foot apartment without having to instruct the cleaner to manage their time differently. If your company charges by the hour, customers should be aware that you may not receive a complete cleaning of your home within the booked timeframe. I hired WHB Cleaning for what they advertised as a deep cleaning, specifically to handle a bedroom and bathroom after a tenant moved out. For over $200, I expected professional, thorough work. Instead, what I got was frankly disappointing. The cleaner was polite but not at all thorough. I did a quick check before she left (because it's charged hourly) and only later discovered just how much was missed after closer inspection. Dust and grime left on baseboards, cabinets, counters, backsplash, and in the bathroom. The tub and shower, which still had hair in it, were not even remotely "deep cleaned." I ended up redoing it myself, something I should never have to do after paying for professional cleaning. On top of that, I noticed that the cleaner was taking photos of my home's interior without asking or notifying me. That is simply unprofessional and not something I would expect from a reputable service. I did notify the customer manager and they stated that this was for quality control. However, I would expect the customer to be notified beforehand. When I sent them photos of the actual cleaning misses, they didn't dispute it, but offered only a 10% discount or a single hour of follow-up. After pushing back, they went up to 15% off or an unlimited re-clean. At that point I was done wasting my time and just accepted the discount to end the hassle. They'd already lost credibility with the initial cleaning, so I was even less inclined to want them back in my home to try again. They have an easy booking system and plenty of positive reviews (which I should have read more carefully, the negative ones match my experience exactly). This is in regard to a pre-move in cleaning back in the summer, around June/July. I manage a residential home in Escondido, and had a new tenant moving in after July 4th weekend. My initial cleaner that was referred to me no-showed. I was very upset since this was scheduled a week prior, and I came down from Orange County. She doesn't have a Yelp page or I would be telling people to stay away So now I'm in a huge pickle because the new Tenant was moving in on a Sunday, it's a holiday weekend, and it's super short notice. I sent out requests through Yelp, and got a ton of businesses messaging me. First thing that was super frustrating was my message to all these vendors was I needed this service on a Sunday early morning before my Tenant moves in. And literally every single company either did not read the messages or disregarded it, except WHB Cleaning. I believe I was talking to the Owner via Yelp chat, but unfortunately don't recall her name at the moment. She was empathetic to my situation and patient. She got me setup with a cleaning appointment early Sunday morning! The cleaner was punctual and very nice. She confirmed what I was looking for and in my opinion, went above and beyond in what was expected. Pricing wise, I felt was REALLY GOOD compared to what I normally pay cleaners up here in Orange County. I'd definitely hire them again when the Tenant eventually moves out. read more

Not sure about the 5-star rating people gave, but I was extremely dissatisfied with the service. They charged me for 8 hours of move-out cleaning, but the house was not clean at all. I had to get another cleaner to get the house cleaned. They never even vacuum the house, which costs me an extra $500. The pantry was filthy, the floors were dirty, the downstairs bathroom was not even touched, the stairs had glitter still, which means never been vacuumed, the primary bathroom glass shower enclosure was not even touched. She was organized and tidy in her movement about our home. It was very easy to schedule our cleaning and Amerie (and Justin) were extremely quick to respond. I had a lot of questions and they were happy to accommodate all of them. Only marked 4 stars because there were a few obvious areas of the bathroom that were missed (small window had water marks, and there was some remaining mold on the shower floor tile - we had asked for specific focus on the shower, so I was bummed to still find a little spot there that I had to do myself later). Booking was a struggle, I reached out to see if I could get a same day cleaning (I had scheduled a cleaning through another company and the cleaner canceled 15 min before she was supposed to arrive so I was hoping to get someone out same day.) they told me they had someone available at 2pm, then it changed to 3pm, then 2:30, then 2:45. My cleaner arrived at 3 and told me she could only stay until 5pm and another cleaner would be coming to finish what she couldn't. She told me she didn't understand why they split it between two cleaners and not just given the full clean to the second cleaner (none of this is her fault, I don't get it either). She did a great job and was extremely fast. She got the whole upstairs done in two hours. She left at 5 and said the next cleaner should be on her way. At 5:30pm I texted the line and asked if anyone else was coming and told them what the cleaner told me about a second cleaner. They said they would check with the first cleaner and then said an emergency came up for the second cleaner but they would make it up to me by scheduling a "touch up" to finish the downstairs the next day and said I could pick any time. I chose 10am. The next day at 9:15 I got a text saying my cleaner would arrive at 9:30. At 10:30 no one had arrived or tried to contact me so I reached out worried something happened or they got lost. They had no info. At 11 my cleaner arrived. Again, did a good job, none of this is the cleaners fault. This whole time no payment method had been taken and I was not contacted about it. The following week I got a text for the full invoice which asked me to pay promptly so they could pay their cleaners. I asked for a discount because I spent so much time communicating, waiting around, and I was never reached out to with information until they wanted payment. This company is unprofessional. Hiring a cleaning service was supposed to give me time back and allow me to take care of my family but with all the time I waited around, I could have done the clean myself. I requested services for a 1 bedroom apartment that was essentially was already clean but needed a deep cleaning. The cleaning service fell far short of expectations. For example, after 4.5 hours the floors were not mopped or vacuumed, the TV wasn't wiped, and residue was left on the floors. I had to clean afterward, which defeats the purpose of hiring professionals. They offered a touch-up, but I declined I shouldn't have to supervise or redo the work. I paid $150 out of courtesy, but honestly, I don't feel I should have been charged at all. I understand this is a small business and negative Yelp reviews can hurt. That said, the positive reviews are what led me to book in the first place, and after my experience, I question whether those reviews reflect the actual quality of service. While they did come into my home and clean, a move in/out style cleaning did not happen, nor did they send photos of their work. I had to pay my neighbors to go take photos and clean my house so my tenants could move in the next few hours. None of the kitchen cabinets were cleaned, countertops were dirty, oven wasn't cleaned, fridge wasn't cleaned. My bathrooms were left with smudges and hair on the countertops and the floors were left with dirt and hair as well. The tops of the washer and dryer weren't touched and the extras that I paid for like tops of fans/cents/spot cleaning walls was a joke. All of these I have photos and videos of. The owner took accountability and for that I appreciate, but I still paid for a job that I paid another company to come in and do after my tenants moved in. On top of paying my neighbors to help me when I was unable to check my home myself. They also tried to bill me for "extra time because they lost track of time." Industrial cleaner smell in bathrooms smells like your work bathroom or a gym. I had asked them to use natural cleaner. Cleaner showed up with a bag of filthy stained rags and explained they were washed. Can you not buy new 50c rags? Left me with a foul massive sink of dishes, as if I wanted to save $10 and clean that myself after five hours of billed cleaning. The sink wasn't washed either per the standard cleaning. I had explicitly asked her to clean the kitchen first but apparently she didn't get the message. Completely forgot to vacuum or mop the stairs. Vacuum job was not thorough along baseboards or under furniture. Otherwise ok. But don't expect repeat business when I come home to that mess and have to cleanup after the cleaner. read more

I had scheduled a cleaning service with this company and everything was confirmed. They said they were going to show up that day. We had scheduled them for a Sunday morning. It was a two bedroom condo where we needed it cleaned for new tenants that were moving in the day after. That morning came, we waited for a call or text or someone to show up and no one showed up. After 30 min of waiting, we called them. They didn't know what was going on and said they were going to give us a call back. 10 min later we received a TEXT saying that the person that was supposed to come, her car had "broken down" and couldn't make it, and that they were sorry. Huh??? A professional company does not run like that. They just said they were sorry and left us hanging. They didn't attempt to fix it by sending someone else. We needed that done that day since new tenants were going to start moving in the next day! In the end we had to get the job done and did the cleaning ourselves. It was absolutely disappointing. If you're thinking of scheduling a service with them just be advised that they might not show up. read more

I'm going to to disagree with the high ratings here. I am yet impressed with this company so far. I've had at least 3 or 4 cleanings with this company and here's what I've observed. 1. Their hourly rate is quite high at over $50 / hour on a "custom" clean. They charge $49/ hour with a 1.9% "Merchant fee" each cleaning. Their custom clean is just a cleaning of a house! There is nothing custom or special about this service. Additionally, they charge extra for deep cleaning and to clean things like base boards, or cleaning the inside of your microwave or fridge, and vacuuming the furniture. 2. They have sent a different cleaner to my house on each cleaning of my scheduled reoccurring cleanings. Prior to hiring this company, I was told by Justin that I would have the same cleaner for reoccurring cleanings. It seems like they have a high turnover of employees. They've made excuses for why different t cleaners are being sent each week and told me don't worry because they have all been through the same training. That's fine and all but when I basically have to train the cleaner of how I like things and where I everything belongs a 2 hour job turns into a 4 hour job plus I end up helping them clean. 2. I did not receive the promised discount on the invoice which by the way, took several days to receive the said invoice after the cleaning was finished. If you like paying a high premium for a mediocre clean then this company might be right for you. read more

We needed HALF of our condo cleaned up after some remodeling was done so our tenants could move back in. So not a major job. I reached out to many places and they were one of the first ones to get back to me quickly AND professionally. At first I was a little butt hurt that they required a 2.5 hour minimum as it was a very small job, but their responsiveness and execution gave them the 5 stars here.
