I was really excited to try WHB Cleaning after seeing them highly recommended in the Girl Time Facebook group. Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to the recommendations or the premium price. We hired WHB for a move-in cleaning. The home had already been cleaned before we received the keys, but it wasn't quite up to our standards, so we decided to hire a professional company to thoroughly go over everything before we moved in. At $89/hour for a move-in clean, I expected a very detailed and professional service. Our cleaner was genuinely lovely, kind, and pleasant to have in our home, and I enjoyed meeting her. Unfortunately, the quality and professionalism of the cleaning itself did not match what I expected at this price point. During the appointment, approximately 35 minutes of billable time was spent in personal conversation rather than cleaning. I certainly could have ended the conversation sooner, and I acknowledged that when I spoke with the company. At the same time, as the customer, I don't think I should have to manage how a professional cleaner uses the time I'm paying for. Afterward, my husband and I looked over the apartment more closely and found several areas that still needed attention. The floors were noticeably streaky, portions of the windows that were cleaned were left streaky and only partially completed, the window tracks were still dirty, and there was visible dirt remaining in areas of the guest shower. For a relatively clean, empty home, I simply did not feel the finished result reflected more than $300 worth of professional cleaning. I contacted WHB directly before leaving a review because I wanted to give them an opportunity to address my concerns. I do want to give their customer service team credit. Everyone I spoke with was kind and professional. They offered to send a different cleaner back to address the areas we weren't satisfied with. We declined because the purpose of hiring a move-in service was to have the home ready before we moved in, and at that point we preferred to finish the remaining areas ourselves. WHB ultimately offered a 15% adjustment to our invoice, which I appreciated. They listened to our concerns and made an effort to resolve the situation. As a first-time customer paying their premium move-in rate, I expected the initial service to reflect the level of quality and professionalism the company advertises. At this price point, I think it's reasonable to expect professional cleaners who can deliver consistently high-quality work without the customer needing to supervise the process or schedule a second visit to correct missed areas. I appreciate how kindly WHB handled my concerns and their effort to make things right. Unfortunately, based on the quality and value of our particular experience, we won't be returning. read more

She keeps on trying to price gauge me for more than 20 dollars because I told them I needed a summer break and will be back once I return from vacations. Literally has been 1 month and I was receiving consistent bi weekly services with this company! Janet acted like I was a first time customer and she came back and texted me from a different number asking for my services again, as if it's a favor of them to be asking me directly to pick a date. When I asked about the rate, she stated another ridiculously high price that was more than the first price she tried to get me on. I was originally, $51/hour, then they had a loyalty retention agreement for 3 services at $46. What a deal so I took it. Then afterwards since I became loyal and on schedule with them, and even wrote them the original review, I was approved to be kept at $46. Wonderful and I always paid on time and gratuity for the lovely ladies. Then midway they tried to state it would be $49 and I understood and agreed to that but to my surprise they kept me at the $46. Loved this! When I asked for a break, that's when the poor tactics kicked in and then they wanted $69 and then $79, acting like they aren't trying to bait me again?! WTF?! I told them I won't need there services and this second time around got upset and told them to remove my contact and don't text me. I actually will have to block their number now. Let me credit the ladies who showed up for me. I truly respected all my ladies who were assigned to clean for my house. We hired this company to complete move-out cleaning for five rental units after seeing their excellent online reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Three of the units were cleaned very poorly, and we received complaints from the new tenants immediately after they moved in. We documented the issues with numerous photos and shared both the photos and tenant complaints with the company. Even more concerning, the cleaners did not show up to clean the remaining two units as scheduled, yet we were still charged for those services. Despite providing clear documentation of the missed and inadequate work, the company has refused to issue a refund and instead only offered a small discount. We had a bit of a rocky start with our cleaning service--our first cleaner left after 2 hours instead of the requested 3, and the house wasn't fully cleaned. However, after I informed the admin, they were quick to respond and sent someone else to complete the cleaning. I really appreciated their responsiveness and willingness to make it right. Since then, Amy has been our cleaner, and she's come twice so far. We're very happy with her. She's attentive to any specific requests we communicate, and always checks in at the end to make sure everything is to our satisfaction. Overall, I'm impressed with the customer service. It's easy to get ahold of them, easy to schedule, and they do a solid job at a reasonable price. I was disappointed with my experience. The cleaner was polite and the areas she completed were cleaned well, but the service was incredibly inefficient. I booked a 4-hour cleaning for my approximately 900-square-foot apartment. After 2.5 hours, only one bedroom and one bathroom had been cleaned. When I pointed out that there was still an entire bedroom, another bathroom, the kitchen, living area, and all the floors left to do, I asked if she could clean a little less meticulously so she'd have time to finish the rest of the apartment. Her response was that I should have told her that earlier, despite the service being presented as a 4-hour cleaning. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that four hours is enough time to clean a 900-square-foot apartment without having to instruct the cleaner to manage their time differently. If your company charges by the hour, customers should be aware that you may not receive a complete cleaning of your home within the booked timeframe. I hired WHB Cleaning for what they advertised as a deep cleaning, specifically to handle a bedroom and bathroom after a tenant moved out. For over $200, I expected professional, thorough work. Instead, what I got was frankly disappointing. The cleaner was polite but not at all thorough. I did a quick check before she left (because it's charged hourly) and only later discovered just how much was missed after closer inspection. Dust and grime left on baseboards, cabinets, counters, backsplash, and in the bathroom. The tub and shower, which still had hair in it, were not even remotely "deep cleaned." I ended up redoing it myself, something I should never have to do after paying for professional cleaning. On top of that, I noticed that the cleaner was taking photos of my home's interior without asking or notifying me. That is simply unprofessional and not something I would expect from a reputable service. I did notify the customer manager and they stated that this was for quality control. However, I would expect the customer to be notified beforehand. When I sent them photos of the actual cleaning misses, they didn't dispute it, but offered only a 10% discount or a single hour of follow-up. After pushing back, they went up to 15% off or an unlimited re-clean. At that point I was done wasting my time and just accepted the discount to end the hassle. They'd already lost credibility with the initial cleaning, so I was even less inclined to want them back in my home to try again. They have an easy booking system and plenty of positive reviews (which I should have read more carefully, the negative ones match my experience exactly). This is in regard to a pre-move in cleaning back in the summer, around June/July. I manage a residential home in Escondido, and had a new tenant moving in after July 4th weekend. My initial cleaner that was referred to me no-showed. I was very upset since this was scheduled a week prior, and I came down from Orange County. She doesn't have a Yelp page or I would be telling people to stay away So now I'm in a huge pickle because the new Tenant was moving in on a Sunday, it's a holiday weekend, and it's super short notice. I sent out requests through Yelp, and got a ton of businesses messaging me. First thing that was super frustrating was my message to all these vendors was I needed this service on a Sunday early morning before my Tenant moves in. And literally every single company either did not read the messages or disregarded it, except WHB Cleaning. I believe I was talking to the Owner via Yelp chat, but unfortunately don't recall her name at the moment. She was empathetic to my situation and patient. She got me setup with a cleaning appointment early Sunday morning! The cleaner was punctual and very nice. She confirmed what I was looking for and in my opinion, went above and beyond in what was expected. Pricing wise, I felt was REALLY GOOD compared to what I normally pay cleaners up here in Orange County. I'd definitely hire them again when the Tenant eventually moves out. read more

I had a good first experience with WHB Cleaning. Our assigned cleaner, Kimberly, was on time, well-supplied, had good time management and was respectful of our space. She was organized and tidy in her movement about our home. It was very easy to schedule our cleaning and Amerie (and Justin) were extremely quick to respond. I had a lot of questions and they were happy to accommodate all of them. Only marked 4 stars because there were a few obvious areas of the bathroom that were missed (small window had water marks, and there was some remaining mold on the shower floor tile - we had asked for specific focus on the shower, so I was bummed to still find a little spot there that I had to do myself later). Not sure about the 5-star rating people gave, but I was extremely dissatisfied with the service. They charged me for 8 hours of move-out cleaning, but the house was not clean at all. I had to get another cleaner to get the house cleaned. They never even vacuum the house, which costs me an extra $500. The pantry was filthy, the floors were dirty, the downstairs bathroom was not even touched, the stairs had glitter still, which means never been vacuumed, the primary bathroom glass shower enclosure was not even touched. On top of that, cleaners left me a note, supposedly after 8.5 hours, later we could not get to everything. I would not recommend this company for your cleaning needs. Booking was a struggle, I reached out to see if I could get a same day cleaning (I had scheduled a cleaning through another company and the cleaner canceled 15 min before she was supposed to arrive so I was hoping to get someone out same day.) they told me they had someone available at 2pm, then it changed to 3pm, then 2:30, then 2:45. My cleaner arrived at 3 and told me she could only stay until 5pm and another cleaner would be coming to finish what she couldn't. She told me she didn't understand why they split it between two cleaners and not just given the full clean to the second cleaner (none of this is her fault, I don't get it either). She did a great job and was extremely fast. She got the whole upstairs done in two hours. She left at 5 and said the next cleaner should be on her way. At 5:30pm I texted the line and asked if anyone else was coming and told them what the cleaner told me about a second cleaner. They said they would check with the first cleaner and then said an emergency came up for the second cleaner but they would make it up to me by scheduling a "touch up" to finish the downstairs the next day and said I could pick any time. I chose 10am. The next day at 9:15 I got a text saying my cleaner would arrive at 9:30. At 10:30 no one had arrived or tried to contact me so I reached out worried something happened or they got lost. They had no info. At 11 my cleaner arrived. Again, did a good job, none of this is the cleaners fault. This whole time no payment method had been taken and I was not contacted about it. The following week I got a text for the full invoice which asked me to pay promptly so they could pay their cleaners. I asked for a discount because I spent so much time communicating, waiting around, and I was never reached out to with information until they wanted payment. This company is unprofessional. Hiring a cleaning service was supposed to give me time back and allow me to take care of my family but with all the time I waited around, I could have done the clean myself. I requested services for a 1 bedroom apartment that was essentially was already clean but needed a deep cleaning. The cleaning service fell far short of expectations. For example, after 4.5 hours the floors were not mopped or vacuumed, the TV wasn't wiped, and residue was left on the floors. I had to clean afterward, which defeats the purpose of hiring professionals. They offered a touch-up, but I declined I shouldn't have to supervise or redo the work. I paid $150 out of courtesy, but honestly, I don't feel I should have been charged at all. I understand this is a small business and negative Yelp reviews can hurt. That said, the positive reviews are what led me to book in the first place, and after my experience, I question whether those reviews reflect the actual quality of service. Industrial cleaner smell in bathrooms smells like your work bathroom or a gym. I had asked them to use natural cleaner. Cleaner showed up with a bag of filthy stained rags and explained they were washed. Can you not buy new 50c rags? Left me with a foul massive sink of dishes, as if I wanted to save $10 and clean that myself after five hours of billed cleaning. The sink wasn't washed either per the standard cleaning. I had explicitly asked her to clean the kitchen first but apparently she didn't get the message. Completely forgot to vacuum or mop the stairs. Vacuum job was not thorough along baseboards or under furniture. Otherwise ok. But don't expect repeat business when I come home to that mess and have to cleanup after the cleaner. read more

I'm going to to disagree with the high ratings here. I am yet impressed with this company so far. I've had at least 3 or 4 cleanings with this company and here's what I've observed. 1. Their hourly rate is quite high at over $50 / hour on a "custom" clean. They charge $49/ hour with a 1.9% "Merchant fee" each cleaning. Their custom clean is just a cleaning of a house! There is nothing custom or special about this service. Additionally, they charge extra for deep cleaning and to clean things like base boards, or cleaning the inside of your microwave or fridge, and vacuuming the furniture. 2. They have sent a different cleaner to my house on each cleaning of my scheduled reoccurring cleanings. Prior to hiring this company, I was told by Justin that I would have the same cleaner for reoccurring cleanings. It seems like they have a high turnover of employees. They've made excuses for why different t cleaners are being sent each week and told me don't worry because they have all been through the same training. That's fine and all but when I basically have to train the cleaner of how I like things and where I everything belongs a 2 hour job turns into a 4 hour job plus I end up helping them clean. 2. I did not receive the promised discount on the invoice which by the way, took several days to receive the said invoice after the cleaning was finished. TBH, I didn't see the place so I can't comment directly on their work. But what I will say was that they got back to me very quickly for a same day service. We needed HALF of our condo cleaned up after some remodeling was done so our tenants could move back in. So not a major job. I reached out to many places and they were one of the first ones to get back to me quickly AND professionally. At first I was a little butt hurt that they required a 2.5 hour minimum as it was a very small job, but their responsiveness and execution gave them the 5 stars here.
