Boba Loca is a decent place if you're craving a boba drink. I ordered the milk tea boba and asked for little amount of boba. When i received my drink, there was a ton of boba and the drink tasted old. I'll definitely go back and try something else on the menu. read more

One of my favorite local boba spots, & I'm very picky with my boba. I've been here dozens of times and the boba has been fresh and tasty every time. There's such a wide variety of flavors and drinks that it's so hard deciding what to get. It does get busy at peak times for example, when the local schools get dismissed, but the staff always does a great job of tending to their customers as quickly and accurately as possible while trying to maintain a clean shop. One of the healthier things I do for my body: Once or twice a week visit Boba Loca in Montrose and order a Maggie's Farm raw juice: Cucumber, kale, spinach, lime, and parsley with a shot of ginger and a shot of tumeric... Nice people but got 2 of 4 orders wrong. In addition, i asked if i could use the coupon for all of us and she said yes and changed when i was paying. I did not even get a receipt so I don't even know what i paid for. Good drinks but disappointed. There was no attempt to do anything besides getting my order right the second time. One of the nicest--if not THE nicest--places to get boba around Montrose and La Cañada. Very disappointed in this establishment. The boba that I got (strawberry banana) was so artificial it was a smoothie and had no real fruit in it. The açaí bowl was also filled with fruits that were unripened or tasted poorly. The actual acai was the worst part it tasted like nothing. And I paid 13.00 for just that, way too overpriced. read more

I wandered into this place out of curiosity and I'm so glad I did. the space is big for a juice bar and the staff was friendly and genuine. Every thing is made to order and in front of you. I personally fell in love with the liquid gold juice and chocolate dream smoothie. The store is brand new and I'm sure it will progress in time! It was definitely the missing piece to the montrose shopping area. I love that all organic and raw choices are now accessible to the community! Harvest is a great addition to Montrose! I work in the area and am so grateful to now have a place to get fresh, delicious juices. I went in nearly every day during soft opening week and have made my way through the entire juice menu twice over. Every visit and every juice has been excellent--so satisfying! This has to be my favorite healthy juice bar. I would give this place 5 stars BUT, I have come here at 8 pm twice now and it's closed EVEN THOUGH it clearly states on the door that it closes at 9 pm. I still have an hour, and I clearly see the employee inside cleaning but she refuses to come near the door. Rude. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT! Was in the area visiting friends and got the craving for boba tea. This is appears to be the only boba shop in the area, but it's a great stop! The staff was polite, professional and helpful. Boba was soft with great taste (some shops have very bland boba). Four drinks - a smoothie, a slush, a milk tea and a fruit green tea.....all were very good. The slush especially was one of the best we've seen. Way to go Boba Loca! We'll make sure to stop in again when we are back in town! read more

I found out today that splitting a large drink which costs $7 into two cups so my kids can share a more kid-friendly amount of sugary cold liquid refreshment costs an extra $1. The drinks are good 4-5 stars, but a dollar for an extra cup? That is loca! read more

Since I work close to this location I have been here a few times. The first drink I got was a Green Colada which was amazing! This made me want to get a groupon which they are offering! The other times I went back, the drinks were not as good as the green colada. With a limited menu it would be nice if everything tasted Great. I would not recommend the smoothie with coffee and dates. It threw mine away it was so bad :( The drinks are expensive compared to other places. Smoothie is $10. read more

My boyfriend and I went here after eating dinner with my parents to get a quick boba fix. He was super tired after working a long shift at work but he was up for trying a new boba place. Since we're not in the San Gabriel Valley anymore its difficult to find a good boba tea place that's nearby. The place is very clean and they have a bell of some sort that sounds when you walk in so they know there is a customer. They have a few small tables for 2-3 people near the window and another table for larger parties and a few other tables for maybe groups of 4. They also have a small selection of board games available to play while you hangout and drink your tea/eat. My boyfriend and I are both slightly lactose intolerant so we don't drink milk tea anymore. My sister had tried the Peach Lychee Tea with boba before so I suggested that my boyfriend try that since he likes sweet fruity drinks. He was skeptical about the boba only because he's been disappointed by the quality of the boba at other tea places (like the Boba Loca in Burbank). I got the Guava Fusion Tea with boba. It was a bit on the sweet side for my tastes so next time I would probably ask if they could make it a little less sweet. We both got the regular size because we were still a bit full from dinner. We were the only two people in there but it was near 10PM so it was getting closer to closing time. Hopefully its more crowded on other days because I would be sad to see a decent nearby boba place go. Also, there were a lot of people just walking around the Montrose area playing Pokemon-Go so thats probably why they weren't inside the actual shops and restaurants. I'll be coming back again soon! :) Oh and they also have Spot On so you can get spot points (or whatever they call them) which will add up and you can get free stuff. read more
