Well this place ISN'T Greenbergs! I enjoyed for weeks their raspberry muffins only to have their store pull it off their shelf saying I was the only customer who liked it. Next came their bacon burritos, which were delicious and popular. Then of course the store told me last week that they won't carry them anymore. A good way to lose a loyal custome, but here the preferences of the loyal customers apparently don't warrant that much consideration. As for the coffee, it is served in paper cups that quickly dissipate the heat so that by the time you finish a cup, it is ice cold. And they refuse to reheat it. No longer recommend.

I came when it was not busy and got my drink in under two minutes. However, the person sitting next to me (with the cutest doggie! They're dog friendly, I think ) waited longer than 10 minutes for her drink. However, this was during a rush and when it was probably the busiest in the morning (?) AMBIANCE AND ENVIRONMENT: The music volume was pretty good. It was low level when the place got busy due to people chatting, machines, ice scooping etc., but when it wasn't so busy, the level was about medium due to the atmosphere being more quiet. The vibes were Mumford and sons, Oasis, Of Monsters and Men, the Head and the Heart, and some classical sprinkled here and there. It is smaller than a chain, but cozy with quite a few seats and table options. I think they did a great job at making the best of the space. The space also encourages community as half of the seating options are shared/shareable. All within an arms reach, which in my personal opinion, is plenty of space. Because of this, it encourages you to acknowledge your fellow human being sitting across, or beside you. The environment was clean, bright, and comfortable. The environment feedback I woukd give is perhaps a stronger sun shade in the windows that the bar and stools face. I first sat here but within minutes decide to move because the heat was a bit too much for me. Again! A personal preference. Coffee shops can also naturally get warm due to the energy being used for the machines and refrigerators, so something to consider. The air-conditioning kicked in a little later which helped make it more comfortable. Another thing I noticed is the outlet near the corner table and lounge chairs has a an outlet extender plugged into the wall outlet, but the wall outlet is extremely loose with no faceplate. This can cause electric shock, wiring damage and possible fires. I know from personal experience. It's a real easy and cheap fix that I highlyyy recommend they do ASAP. Just trying to be helpful because I really, really like this spot. FOOD AND DRINKS: I ordered a Hibiscus Berry Blend, as is, iced. It was $5.00 even. It is served in a14 Oz. cup. With ice, it's probably about 12-13 Oz. of drink you're getting. I think it was worth it. The flavor was equal and very nice. Not too fruity, not too watery. It wasn't sweet, due to me not asking for any additional sweetener. As I sat and worked, I heard a lot of other orders and some were very creative. So they do have all those fun drinks people love to indulge in occasionally. They also have classic drip coffee and loose leaf tea. THE REASON WHY I TRIED INICIO: The biggest thing I noticed, being an activist myself involved in many efforts for social justice through my work and personal life, was their mission to erase modern day slavery. Human trafficking is a horrible thing that unfortunately is haooening right before out very eyes. They donate a portion of all food, drink, and catering sales to Justice 180. That is honestly, the reason why I came. I would love to partner with them and invite them to come cater at my center. I plan to spread the word about this place and continue to support them.

The cocoa puffs were also excellent, both of the matcha lattes were super high quality and delicious. The cocoa puffs were the perfect addition to the matcha latte and looked great in photos too. The baklava has a unique pistachio flavor, also not too sweet and perfectly balanced. All of the drinks were super well made, with high quality ingredients. The creative concepts live up to their executions for sure! I highly recommend Starlet for excellent, creative lattes and cozy, intimate service and cafe. The staff is so helpful and lovely. My son had a freshly baked cinnamon roll and orange juice. We both loved this place and I can't wait to come back for lunch! There was a grand reopening a year or more ago. It seemed brighter and wider because of the wall color. I think the tables used to be darker and higher but now they're lighter and lower. I had the cashier scan my Starbucks app after paying. The thing is, you should ALWAYS scan your Starbucks Rewards barcode in the app or your registered Starbucks Card before the cashier processes your payment. I had to look that up when I got home because I didn't get any stars. The app could be improved by including more FAQs. Other customers haven't received stars either. A receipt wasn't given so I checked how much money was left on the gift card I used. There was $17.54 before ordering and after ordering it was $10.89. The coffee itself was $6.75 but since I brought the Starbucks red cup I got the $0.10 discount. The macchiato look different from what's on the menu because I was carrying it and walking. I barely taste the ube but that's because the cold foam is made of ube and coconut. So it's supposed to be subtle. I taste more of the coconut but that's because of the flakes and syrup. I'm not a coffee person, but it's alright. The customer next to me asked what it was and the employee that served it said iced ube coconut macchiato.
