I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. From beginning to end we had the most wonderful experience here. Their food is incredible and authentic. The home made pasta was so delicious and perfectly cooked. All of the sauces had perfect balance. The tiramisu was so flavorful and the texture was perfection. This restaurant stands out as an independent crafted experience in an area that is overwhelming with all of the chain restaurants. It was so nice to have a different option. The staff was incredibly well trained on how to create a true fine dining experience. From the moment we walked in and were greeted until the moment we left, everyone working here and the owner worked to make us feel welcomed. The restaurant is also beautiful inside and out. Stopped in at around 4:30. Place was completely empty, which is usually a red flag for me (I work in food service/fine dining) but decided to give it a chance anyway. Was seated immediately and server was very attentive / super cool. Ordered a raspberry bellini from their menu and it was great. they don't skimp on the alcohol in the cocktails haha. Ordered the scampi situation, came with broccolini/carrots/shrimp in a lemon butter caper sauce. very great, light. carrots were oversalted but it wasn't a huge deal & I didn't bring it up to the server. I'm sure if I had it would have been fixed promptly, though! I just hate sending food back. They also brought over some foccacia with olive oil that was very yummy. standout for me was the pistachio ice cream. SO freaking good. bathrooms are also clean. they do have some kind of looping christmas radio on right now that is a little obnoxious but I'm sure during the non-holiday season they have something different playing. It is a little pricy (my total was 67 for an entree, cocktail and dessert) but I do feel like the quality of food is definitely there & "worth it". 10% discount for WDW cm's with valid ID and they have a great happy hour situation for disney employees on certain nights, when I presented my ID they explained the discounted nights to me and brought over a menu. great place. read more

Awesome place. It was our first time here and we are so glad they opened in our neighborhood. The food is excellent and the service is super friendly. We had the Ana Capri pizza and the Calzone. It was amazing. The crust it's unbelievable and you can't find better than this anywhere around here. Highly recommended and we will be back many many times. Our date night while on vacation was truly "an experience", we sat at the bar, enjoyed our kidless time together and watched the bartenders busily work their craft. Bartenders were all Italian, listening to them converse to each other and work their cocktails felt like we were in a true Italian coastal town. We had the EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA to start, it was wipe the plate clean with the bread good! For entree's SCIALATIELLI DEI FARAGLIONI and BRANZINO, both were amazing! We told the bartender Davide to make us a drink that would pair well with our meals, which threw him a challenge but I think he enjoyed it and knocked it out of the park. I'm picky about pizza (love Neapolitan, wood fired (and knew just by cutting the crust (capricciosa) from the sound alone I would love it. Very generous toppings and amazing flavor. Hubby had the fried calamari which was a meal- not just calamari but succulent shrimp, white fish and even veggies. Enough for 4 to share, easily. The marinara sauce was delish. Add in the authentic fixtures and decor from the island of Capri, including the handmade sandals ceiling art installation, it's an entire experience. This was a restaurant we chose to celebrate a special occasion. Their specialty is Italian cuisine. It is a classy restaurant. They have inside and outside seating. We sat outside. We had cocktails, starters, and entrees. Multiple staff members took care of us. They all seemed to have an Italian connection and knew about the cuisine and culture. The service was outstanding. I had a Negroni cocktail that was very good. For starters we shared a Cozze E Vongole and an Insalata Di Capri. The former had mussels and clams with garlic, olive oil, and chili peppers. It came with focaccia bread. The salad had a mixture of vegetables with honey lemon dressing.For entrees, we had Scialatielli Dei Faraglioni and Branzino. The Scialatielli was ribbon pasta with shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, and cherry tomatoes. For dessert we shared a Coppa Sorrentina; it had pistachio gelato, pistachio cream, whip cream, toasted pistachios. I was torn on what to rate this place as everything we "thought" was good. Until one member of our family got food poisoning immediately after eating here. She had a pear salad. I called the restaurant to let them know. When I talked with the manager, they said that the chef said there's nothing wrong with the food, and suggested that maybe she had been sick from the breakfast she ate. That theory would possibly be right if she hadn't eaten breakfast more than 6 hours prior and all she throw up was the salad. Ironically, when the salad arrived at the table, I noticed it looked weird. What was supposed to be a pear, looked like mashed up throw up. I even brought my concern of the appearance up to the person eating the salad. Ironically, within minutes of making it back to the hotel, that's when she became sick. As a side note, I gave the review 3 stars because there were four people in our party and everyone else's food was fine. read more

The staff at Simply Capri are particular about presenting an ambience of prestige, while also ensuring the warmth and welcome of traditional Italian restaurants. Notably, the front staff seem comprised of native Italians or Sicilians, adding to the authenticity. Servers have been consistently attentive and very helpful with recommendations. Because one of our party had dietary restrictions, our servers were very conscientious about checking to confirm that their orders didn't include restricted items, and offered consultation with the chef. We also had an opportunity to try some of the cocktails and mocktails, which were very tasty! Too much ricotta and kind of "too much stuff" going on... it make the dough too soggy. The cappuccino was good after we asked them to remake it because it was more like a latte with a lot of milk. THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD!! This is truly authentic Italian food and you're not going to beat the quality or flavors anywhere else. We were created and sat immediately when we came in. Every server we passed greeted us with a smile and a "welcome". The decor was stunning and made a somewhat small interior feel open and welcoming. We started with mozzarella and a charcuterie board appetizer that the four of us couldn't quite finish. The chicken Parmesan is not a typical menu item but was to die for. The breading stayed on the meat and the chicken was SOO juicy. The lasagna is scratch made on Wednesdays and is the best pics ever had. I had the ravioli and was more than impressed. It's not your typical American washed Italian food, the pasta is cooked perfectly, the sauce tastes fresh, and the ricotta filling is smooth. The two mock tails pictured were amazing and tasted exactly the way the menu description makes them seem. We also had a bottle of wine recommended by our server that was full bodied,, and paired perfectly with our meals. The tiramisu was also to die for. The cream and lay fingers were light and fluffy, and it had the perfect amount of sweet to pair with the bitter coffee on top. The restaurant as a whole was clean and tidy, including the bathrooms. This hidden gem is about to become my new go-to when I have family in town!! I came at seven o'clock on a Wednesday with two friends and we were immediately sat outdoors, with a quick glance revealing the inside was full of happy customers. It was almost impossible to choose what to eat - the menu is only one page, but is chock full of delicious options. For drinks, I grabbed a Raspbellini, which was SO good. The flavors were perfectly balanced and it was easy to sip, even though it was strong. We were then brought focaccia dripping with olive oil as a starter and I could have eaten a whole loaf! For my main, I ended up with spaghetti and meatballs. The food was brought within ten minutes of our order, sizzling hot and absolutely delicious. The meatballs were so tasty and the sauce to noodle ratio was perfect - I would recommend it to anyone looking for an elevated comfort food. Finally, I got a tiramisu for dessert in the cutest little jar, about the size of my fist. It was so yummy and not too sweet, which I loved. The waitstaff constantly kept our water glasses full and made sure we were satisfied, which was NEVER in doubt. Dinner, drinks, and dessert for three plus tip came to about $200, and I would happily pay it again. So excited to come back!! read more

We heard about this restaurant from a friend. Since we were in Amalfi/Capri this summer and had some of the most delicious food, we were more than excited to check out this restaurant. This restaurant is brand new, only in business five days before our visit. We thought it would be a good spot for our birthday dinner. We also called ahead to find out if we could bring our own wine but was mistakenly told yes, though that's not the case, Tiziano was kind enough to check with the manager and we were able to enjoy the wine. Love the decor and lighting in the restaurant, the outdoor area also has a nice ambiance. Now for the food and drinks. For the price, I thought the portions could have been a little bigger, but the food was very good, though almost all of our pasta dishes needed a bit more sauce. Our appetizers were delicious, we had the Fritto Sorrento and Frittura di Paranza. We also thoroughly enjoyed our desserts and drinks, my favorites being the tiramisu and Capri Spritz.
