I will be dreaming of this pasta dish. Moving to Orlando, it's been hard finding good authentic pasta that has the right texture and flavor and this place hit the mark perfectly. This restaurant has apparently not been around long but it does click on all cylinders. The staff is super attentive and very accommodating. We started running behind and called to move the reservation out an hour. We were a very large group but they did not blink and held the table for us. Service during the meal was very attentive. The few glitches: the waiter said we had to try the pizza that is was made like in Naples (Napoli in Italy not the beach town in Florida). So we did. It was good, very good even but take it from a guy that has been all over Italy and tried pizza everywhere. It was not the best dish we ordered. The best dish was the steak followed by the branzino. Both exactly what you find in Italy perfectly cooked, served with beautifully prepared and presented fresh vegetables. When I return the steak is my order for sure. We also had and incredible large and tasty salad and an excellent soup. The tiramisu for desert was incredible. They have a very good wine menu where Italian wines are well represented. They even had a vino nobile de montepulciano. You don't often find this wine in restaurants and is not as well known in the us as others. Glitch 2 they had run out as I'm told they have quite a few Italian expats as customers and they know the good stuff. They did recommend an excellent substitute but I wanted my vino mobile. The interior is very welcoming and a nice place to hang out. I'll be back as often as I'm in Orlando as this place will only improve and is already top notch. read more

Food: I would give the food 3.75 stars, there was more to be desired. Since this restaurant's claim is for authentic Italian food, my hopes were high. The sauce was very scarce with the seafood pasta and it was a little too 'al dente'. It was good, but I do think there is better Italian in the area. Would go back - going to try the pizza next time. Cocktails and mocktails were fantastic. Service: Service was good. Very polite and attentive. We had two servers which was interesting. What a treat to dine at Simply Capri tonight! It was a rare date night for me and the hubby so we decided to venture out to this new spot in Flamingo Crossings. Upon being greeted, we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for a table for 2. Luckily, there was a seat at the bar while we waited. The bartenders were lovely and I selected an "off menu" cocktail, the Hugo Spritz (so good!) Sure enough, 20 minutes later the manager came over and told us our table was ready. Fabio was our server and was a delight. He suggested a great wine for our meal of appetizers and salad. The octopus (polipo grigiato) was one of (if not the best) preparations we've ever had. We also had the tuna (carpaccio di tonno agli agrumi) (delicious with fresh orange) and the mussels and clams (cozze e vongole) (the combination of the broth, seafood, and focaccia was exquisite.) We also had two of the salads, the Caesar and insalata di Capri, which were both wonderful as prepared. I had just 2 tiny suggestions, add more cantaloupe to the di Capri (it was SO GOOD! I just wanted more for each bite!) and consider a quick hard sear of the romaine lettuce on the grill for for Caesar (to make it even more compelling.) Overall, a solid pick for a night out. Charming Italian restaurant with delicious food! We knew it was going to be a delicious meal while nibbling on the freshly baked focaccia bread drizzled with olive oil. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and cleared my plate. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi, which he ate all of too. Had the chocolate gelato for dessert and left very full and content! Portions were nicely sized, and the entire staff was friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be coming back, as we are newly arrived "locals" now! Awesome place. It was our first time here and we are so glad they opened in our neighborhood. The food is excellent and the service is super friendly. We had the Ana Capri pizza and the Calzone. Stopped in at around 4:30. Place was completely empty, which is usually a red flag for me (I work in food service/fine dining) but decided to give it a chance anyway. Was seated immediately and server was very attentive / super cool. Ordered a raspberry bellini from their menu and it was great. they don't skimp on the alcohol in the cocktails haha. Ordered the scampi situation, came with broccolini/carrots/shrimp in a lemon butter caper sauce. very great, light. carrots were oversalted but it wasn't a huge deal & I didn't bring it up to the server. I'm sure if I had it would have been fixed promptly, though! I just hate sending food back. They also brought over some foccacia with olive oil that was very yummy. standout for me was the pistachio ice cream. SO freaking good. bathrooms are also clean. they do have some kind of looping christmas radio on right now that is a little obnoxious but I'm sure during the non-holiday season they have something different playing. It is a little pricy (my total was 67 for an entree, cocktail and dessert) but I do feel like the quality of food is definitely there & "worth it". 10% discount for WDW cm's with valid ID and they have a great happy hour situation for disney employees on certain nights, when I presented my ID they explained the discounted nights to me and brought over a menu. great place. read more

Hubby had the fried calamari which was a meal- not just calamari but succulent shrimp, white fish and even veggies. Enough for 4 to share, easily. The marinara sauce was delish. Add in the authentic fixtures and decor from the island of Capri, including the handmade sandals ceiling art installation, it's an entire experience. This hidden gem is about to become my new go-to when I have family in town!! I came at seven o'clock on a Wednesday with two friends and we were immediately sat outdoors, with a quick glance revealing the inside was full of happy customers. It was almost impossible to choose what to eat - the menu is only one page, but is chock full of delicious options. For drinks, I grabbed a Raspbellini, which was SO good. The flavors were perfectly balanced and it was easy to sip, even though it was strong. We were then brought focaccia dripping with olive oil as a starter and I could have eaten a whole loaf! For my main, I ended up with spaghetti and meatballs. The food was brought within ten minutes of our order, sizzling hot and absolutely delicious. The meatballs were so tasty and the sauce to noodle ratio was perfect - I would recommend it to anyone looking for an elevated comfort food. Finally, I got a tiramisu for dessert in the cutest little jar, about the size of my fist. It was so yummy and not too sweet, which I loved. The waitstaff constantly kept our water glasses full and made sure we were satisfied, which was NEVER in doubt.
