His recommendations on every single thing from what flavor of juice our 6 year old might enjoy to what wine I should get with our lamb was spot on. Vanessa came over to check on us and it was a pleasure speaking with her as well. Everyone at the hostess stand was so kind and accommodating. We got the bread and dips appetizer, the shepherd salad with feta, and the Mixed Grill for two (all lamb) for the table of four and had MORE than enough food. I made a standard (meaning indoor) reservation for two, show up at the time only to be told that there are no table available for two. I told they that I had made a reservation, they say they understand that and offer me outdoor seating instead. It's Florida, it's 90+ degrees and raining. No, we don't want to sit outside, so I tell them I made an indoor reservation. They understand but there's nothing available. I ask, then why take a reservation? They tell I that I can wait 20+ minutes for a table to become available. We do. While we wait, larger parties, with children and no reservations, come in. They immediately sit them down. So they do have tables available, they are just waiting for larger parties to come in, not just parties of two to occupy larger tables. Unbelievable. The food was great. The quantity for the prices, are great, and our waitress was great. They just need to learn how to keep the reservations. A paying customer is a paying customer, no matter the size of the party.

Last but not least: we witnessed a cockroach crawling across the floor. One of the little German ones. Although not as scary as their larger, American counterparts, they still carry lots of germs that can make you sick, and when you see one you can assume there are many more close by. Would I be back? We visited tonight with friends and were seated right away, which was a great start while we waited for everyone to arrive. The restaurant was celebrating Carnivale Week, and while it was festive and entertaining, the noise level inside made conversation difficult at times. Service pacing was the biggest challenge. Our appetizer took over 25 minutes to come out, and our entrées arrived close to an hour after ordering. Unfortunately the food itself didn't match the wait. It was served only lukewarm, and the chicken was dry and overcooked. That said, the service team truly tried to make things right. Josephine and Antonio were wonderful, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the night. They quickly addressed our concerns and brought out a freshly made pizza that was excellent. We never asked for compensation, but manager Fabio personally removed the chicken from our bill to make sure we left on a positive note, which we appreciated. Prices were on the higher side for what we would consider a casual restaurant rather than fine dining. In the end, we still had a fantastic evening thanks to our friends and the staff's effort to recover the experience. I hope that they'll go back to not putting cream in the tomato sauce, but I would order this again and just get plain noodles next time. We were not greeted in a friendly manner, were not initially provided menus, and the interactions with the hostess/front staff came across as cold and dismissive. From our perspective, the level of professionalism and hospitality did not meet expectations for a property serving hotel guests. What stood out most was the consistency of the experience across multiple visits. While anyone can have an off day, the same issues occurred each time we visited, which made it feel less like an isolated incident and more like an ongoing customer service problem. First impressions matter, and the way guests are treated at the entrance sets the tone for the entire dining experience. Unfortunately, based on our experience, the service at the front of the restaurant needs significant improvement. We hope management takes guest feedback seriously and works on creating a more welcoming and professional atmosphere for future visitors. Update: After posting/sharing my concern, I ran into the manager and explained the situation to him directly. He was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. I appreciated that he took the time to listen and address the issue instead of dismissing it. While our original experience with the front staff was disappointing, the manager's response showed that he does care about the guest experience and is willing to make things right.
