Simply Capri? Simply great! It never disappoints. The Vongole dinner is my favorite and consistently excellent. Their pistachio desert is beyond outstanding. The wine list is strong and staff friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Having the option to dine outside allows one to have a more private experience without suffering service. When it's busy it's very busy! However, there is a small bar outside where it's first come first serve. You can sit at the bar and have the same food and service. Moderately priced for the quality. It's a weekly place for me. Mostly authentic Italian fare and nothing like Italian food chains. Simply Capri is real Italian! Including the staff. Reservations are easy online and the fastest and best way to get in without a wait. read more

Arrived about 12:30 pm to pick up lunch. Walked in to a completely EMPTY restaurant. Literally Zero people. A man standing at hist stand never said anything. No greeting, nothing. So we approached and ask to see a menu. He looked at us like we were completely bothering him to try and order food... from a restaurant! Imagine the audacity of trying to buy Food from a restaurant! Guy snapped that we can't order Togo food. Yet they are located in the middle of a complex containing 8 to 10 disney world extended stay hotels. I guys they don't want $ from all the CUSTOMERS that are staying in the area. No lunch menu, horrible customer service, NO CUSTOMERS. This place gonna need to evolve quickly or they gonna be out of business soon. read more

What a great find! Minutes from our timeshare property in Orange Lake country club is this fresh restaurant with a beautiful, cool Atmosphere and exciting menu. We each enjoyed a wine flight - hubby had the red, and I had the white, both were delicious. Our appetizer was fried dough with cheese and prosciutto, Served with marinara sauce-Similar to a baby calzone, and super fresh. For entrées, I stuck with traditional, spaghetti and meatballs, and hubby had stuffed chicken with arugula salad. Neither disappointed! Save room for dessert! My husband had the cannoli which had pistachio on one end and regular cream on the other end. He was very pleased. I had pistachio gelato, which was enough to share! Simply delicious dinner, great service, and excellent pricing. Will be going back tomorrow for pizza! read more

My daughter wrote a review on this restaurant a few weeks ago, July 2025. My daughter and her family treated me to dinner while I was visiting. I had a green leafy salad with roasted pear on top. upon returning to the house, I became seriously nauseated and it lasted all night. I felt that I had food poison. None of my family with me got sick. I was the only one who had this salad. I threw up green leafs all night in intervals along with having diarrhea. Earlier that morning, we had pancakes and bacon. Simply Capri's response to our call that night was that nothing was wrong with the salad. Meanwhile, I am at the house throwing up the greens. Simply Capri's response to my daughter's review was that they questioned everyone who had that salad and no one got sick. Even if they questioned everyone who had the salad the evening that I had it, this does not change the fact that I got seriously ill from the salad that I ate that day at their restaurant. I feel that their response was a blatant disregard for what happened to me after I ate in their restaurant. read more

The stylish setting and decor made you feel like you were in Europe, clean and refreshing with the yellow lamp shades. The food was delicious and flavorful, had fasole soup with clams, homemade house focaccia, perfectly grilled octopus, and seafood pasta carbonara. You know when a restaurant is so good you forget to take photos because you are too busy enjoying every single bite?!? Well that is Simply Capri. Everything and I mean everything was amazing. You will be immersed in Italian culture as most of the staff is from there and the service was truly top notch. The restaurant is adorable and I can't wait to sit outside in the summer with a spritz! I had the Branzino and it was delicious. We also had a few appetizers like fried calamari/seafood mix which was a winner along with a mozzarella and salami stuffed pizza which I would absolutely get again. Absolutely fantastic meal. Surprised by the quality of the food and service. I've been to Italy on three different occasions and the pizza reminds me of Florence. I love this place. The building is beautiful. The waiter was amazing. The beers were cold and the pizzas we had were absolutely amazing. Everything was screaming fresh. Well my review is of the Flamingo Crossing restaurant not the Winterpark restaurant. Yelp apparently doesn't know the Flamingo restaurant exists yet. Here we go! We started with a Caesar salad and a bottle of Soave recommended by Luciano. We sat at the bar and Esperanza was our awesome bartender/waitress. We ordered the Caesar salad which is a wedge of romaine topped with creamy Caesar dressing, an anchovy fillet, slice of focacia and plenty of slices of parmigiana reggiano. Dinner was an order of Spaghetti alla Carbonara di Mare. Nice Al dente pasta with clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari in a rich carbonara sauce. The Carbonara was spot on! Sitting at the bar allowed us to watch George prepare multiple desserts . That being said we went with the Tiramisu an espresso martini and scotch on the rocks. The tiramisu is served with a dusting of dark chocolate cocoa on top. Well done! The espresso martini was excellent with a nice froth on top. Dinner and drinks were all great. read more

If I could offer 0 stars, I would. Stopped by here with my family (6 adults and 1 baby) in the rain for dinner after seeing the great reviews online. We were told that our party would be split up between 2 tables (even outside) because it's a "fire hazard" to put 2 tables together. There was no sympathy from the staff but rather a sense of disrespect. We will never come here again. Word to the wise - don't come here if your group is larger than 4 people. read more

We were given a pair of glasses of Prosecco as well as a dessert - it was an incredibly thoughtful touch. Really enjoyed our first visit to Simply Capri today. The atmosphere was light and bright. The service was excellent as was the food. My husband and I both ordered the Caccavella Caprese Ravioli and each of us ordered a half salad to go with our entree. I got the insulate de capri which was light and delicious and my husband got the Cesear. It was a bit pricey but worth the splurge once in a while. We did not feel rushed. So I initially stopped by to order something just for to go. When I inquired if I can make that, I was kind of looked funny by the host and was told that the restaurant does not do to go orders and they only take dine ins. He then fetched who looked like who was a manager and I was told the same thing. I initially walked out but I wanted to try the place for a while so I told I'll dine in. I was sat by the manager who kind of had a scowl on his face as I was led to my table. I felt I wasn't welcomed at all! Food was nothing to rave about, the clams pasta had barely anything. For $28 i was served a handful of pasta and clams. I was also never given focaccia bread that I saw patrons who came after I was sat was given but when I asked for some, it was cold like it was just taken out of the fridge and not warmed up when it was given to me. At least the octopus that I asked for to go was decent. $5.00 for a Shirley temple was absurd too. The vibes and ambiance was okay. Modern with a mix of mid century just like a lot of places nowadays. I wouldn't be back. read more

We have been looking forward to this restaurant opening in our neighborhood, so had to try as soon as we could. We were not disappointed! We enjoyed their atmosphere, service (especially Fabio) and food. We tried the calamari appetizer, salad and a sandwich. All were delicious, as were the cocktails and wine. We read all the reviews, and every one of them was spot on. Amazing service, amazing food and amazing experience. Being from Boston, Simply Capri rivals anything you will find in the North End. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. Two of us had the Scialatielli Dei Faraglioni which was made with fresh egg ribbon pasta, cut a little thinker to absorb the natural flavors of the clams, muscles, shrimp, and calamari. Our friends had the Polllo Alla Pizzaiola and it was out of this world. We finally found an Italian restaurant to serve as our go to restaurant when we are hosting friends and family. Had an absolutely great time at Simply Capri last evening for a 70th birthday party. The food was outstanding (although the entrees were not all delivered at the same time-so something to work on), prices reasonable and the servers just charming.
