Miss Gail was absolutely wonderful. It seems like the people giving the low ratings were expecting the typical nail salon environment. This is not the massage chair, 50 people at a time salon... Which is exactly why I went there for my pedicure. With everything going on from COVID-19, I didn't want to go to your typical large nail salon with lots of people. My husband bought a mani pedi Groupon for our anniversary. My friend got one too. Called to schedule an appt, and had to wait almost two weeks for one that was after working hours, which would have been yesterday. The day before, Sunday, got a text from Simply Divine stating they were out of town. What? You have business appts and you're out of town? They asked to reschedule for the next day, Tuesday, at 3pm. Told them I work until 5, so they say 5:15, and then ask if I'm coming with a friend. I respond yes, and also give my friends name. Next morning I get a text confirming appt for that day. What? I text back that they rescheduled us to Tuesday and they say "you never responded." By this time I've already made another appt and can't go. And I'm so frustrated by this point that I no longer want to go. It was supposed to be a relaxing anniversary gift, and instead it was harder than buying a new kidney on the black market. Groupon won't refund, says we have to go through them. They told me they won't refund me because I cancelled my appt. BUYER BEWARE. This is not a regular nail salon. They rent space in a salon independently. And they apparently offer groupons that are difficult to use. And then they go out of town with your money and cancel your appt. But then they come back to town and pretend it's not cancelled. It's a shame that they do this to people. I've been dealing with a dying parent for a while now and really needed a break, some relaxation. Instead I've spent way more time on this than it was ever worth. Shame on you, ladies. I hadn't had my nails done in quite some time, and I had been holding on to a gift certificate my hubby purchased for Valentines Day. (Yeah... I know I'm late!) After reading the reviews I had some concern, but I always think that if you put your best foot forward others will reciprocate. Both mom and daughter worked on me at the same time - gel manicure and regular pedicure - and did a wonderful job. My hubby and I went to South Padre and spent time at the beach, and my polish held up just 1 day shy of 2 weeks! Now, let me say that I didn't need the television, but I have a phone so I asked if they minded me playing some jazz and they didn't. Come on people, these days we learn to adapt and overcome. I enjoyed being pampered while I listened to what I wanted to, so it was a win win for me. I'll be going to see them again in a couple of weeks because I got a manicure done at another place today and I'm NOT HAPPY... shrug. This place is awful. Discovered it via Groupon. No massage chair, very misleading since the "salon" is basically a tiny, cluttered closet in a building with several other "salons" with no directory so good luck finding it on your own. She yelled at me when I called to ask which closet they're in since there's no receptionist. Had to take off work so I could come in on a Thursday during the day, which was the only option available and I was required to provide my credit card to secure my appointment. She was watching trashy daytime TV that had no signal so it was super annoying. Overall could not have been more uncomfortable and to be honest it was the worst pedi I've ever received. First I would like to say I was skeptical because of the reviews I read on here. But dang that was one of the best pedicures I've ever had! I was gifted a groupon and went in today for the 60-minute signature pedicure. It was easy to make the appointment, the lady (I'm bad with names oops) asked me if I knew where they were located and she gave me simple directions that were helpful. I was asked if I wanted a margarita or water. Her suite, which is now suite 5, was super cute and clean and smelled delicious (not that usual harsh chemical smell). Amazing foot massage, my favorite part was the vanilla paraffin wax, my feet feel amazing ! The polish is perfect. Seriously don't take the bad reviews into consideration. I am leaving this review on customer service only. I have not had work done at this location. I bought a Groupon that expires on December 4. In October, I looked for appointments and they were all during the work day. I found one that would work for me on December 21. I scheduled and I called Simply Divine to verify if that would work since it would be past the expiration. Gail kind of gave me the back-and-forth and said they really didn't like to do that but they could this one time. I told her thank you and before she hung up, she told someone else, "She's just crazy". Needless to say, I immediately called Groupon and got a refund. I called Gail and canceled my appointment. This establishment charged me ANOTHER $39 FULL SERVICE FEE because I did not cancel within 24 hours. Kind of impossible in this situation?! Outstanding experience!!! I got the signature pedicure and couldn't have been happier. Gail was very gentle, kind and professional. I loved the personal attention and customer service. Contrary to a lot of "big" nail salons, all of the tools she used were absolutely sterile and since Gail only uses the natural nail polishes, I didn't get a headache from awful chemicals. I show up and am first taken back that it's a room smaller than a bedroom that has only 2 nail chairs in it a bunch of clutter. She tells me she doesn't remember talking to me but she'll try to squeeze me in. After waiting 10 minutes for her to come talk to me she states that she now remembers talking to me on the phone but doesn't remember us setting up an appt. this place is a joke and that lady is a liar, we had literally talked the day before and made an appointment for 3:30. Very nice place! Yes, it's smaller than your usual nail salon but also more personal. Both ladies were very welcoming and just the right amount of conversation (not overly talkative but not awkwardly silent). Tried repeatedly (at least 8-10 times) since JULY to get an appointment with no success. Perhaps the problem was that I was using a Groupon and they didn't want to honor it. But there were never any appointments available. Called Groupon to get money back. I wouldn't have posted on here except when the gal DID call me back (after I had already called Groupon), she was NOT nice and barely let me get a word in edgewise. I called in the morning to book an appointment after purchasing the groupon. I was told that they could fit me and my friend in for a 4 PM appointment. When we arrived at the address we could not find the salon and so we were a few minutes late. I called for directions from where we were and was pretty rudely told that they would not take us anymore as we were 15 minutes late. Still not sure where they are located, got my refund from Groupon and definitely would not recommend them based off of this customer service experience. They are running Groupon scams. In September, i called to schedule for my daughter and I; the first appt that worked was December 17. We showed up to wait 10 minutes for them to open the door, be told that the Groupon was expired even though they had said it wouldn't be a problem, they would only honor expired Groupons on one date in February, it was my fault that my schedule was so limited, and we would have to pay full price today. Found a "good deal" on groupon for this salon. Called to make appointment- the "lady" who "helped" me was extremely hostile, condescending, and impatient. I shrugged this off to "everyone has bad days". On the day of our appointment, google took us to a Georgetown location- immediately when I learned of this error, I pulled over to call, informing them we'd be a few min. late. When we arrived, 10 min. late, no one came to door (many shops- requires code to open main doors)- after several phone calls, I finally received a response... of YELLING, belittling, and lying. She basically called me a liar and stated she left building as it was an early appointment. I let her vent, then informed her of her unprofessional manner and of my remorse in mistake, again, trying to find a healthy professional ground. She YELLED over this attempt and was as viscous and hostile as a badly trained pit bull. She then came OUT of the building with hands on her large hips as if ready to fight as we drove away. (I guess she was in the building all that time, after all.) My daughter received her first ever horrible customer service experience in her 18 years (speaker phone with both appointment attempt as well as appointment day). I'm glad I was part of this first experience, as she witnessed her mother remain calm, cool and collected, as well as stick up for myself in a firm, appropriate, lady like manner. I immediately informed Groupon and received a credit. DO NOT EVER GO HERE! Unless you want a "straight out of Compton"- or fresh out of prison mani/pedi... I'm convinced... she WILL CUT YOU! And not in the ordinary way of a mani/pedi. RUN!!! And please spread the word. These ladies should never be in this line of business! I can think of many other fitting career choices, but customer service is certainly NOT ONE! And BTW- I grew up in rough neighborhoods. I know MANY hard working and respect giving individuals in these areas... most of the time we are the ones with the biggest hearts because of hardship. "Simply Divine"? Suite 11 I would call it " Simply Horrible"! This salon is so far the worst I had ever experienced. I bought a Groupon. First their availability is very limited, and the process for reservation is terrible, although you already paid for the service they force you to provide a credit card number and they tell you that they expect you to pay an appropriate tip so they will deduct it from your card, that was weird but I made an appointment for Sunday anyways. I received a call asking me to move it for Saturday and I agreed on changing it adapting my schedule as I am very easy going. I am lost in the shopping center trying to find the "Simply Divine " place and I get a lot of texts asking me if I am coming. Ask again for address, they don't provide it but complained that they sent it to me last night no willingness to help ! That was the place where I was since the beginning, but the place is tiny inside another place so I could not find it ! They called me, she is very rude and hang up on me! finally came at 12:15 and this woman with a horrible attitude doesn't let me in and ask me to wait outside! I could not believe it ! I love Gail and Rosie!!!! I purchased the Groupon which is how I discovered these lovely ladies. Scheduling at first was a little difficult on my end as they are privately owned with 8-5 hours. Groupon does not show the salon hours when you purchase so when I found out the salon hours I was a little discouraged at first. However they were able to accommodate me and my busy schedule which was greatly appreciated! My first visit was AMAZING, relaxing and just wonderful. The conversations flowed full of joy and laughter. They are extremely professional and my nails always look awesome! I left there knowing this would be MY nail salon going forward. They book fast and are super busy so when you do get an appointment, make sure to schedule your next one before you leave. Trust me they are worth the wait!
