For my bicentennial review, I chose Simply Fresh Aesthetics. I absolutely love this place. It is a medi-spa that employs a physician's assistant, a nurse practitioner and a whole slew of aestheticians. I have been coming here since early Fall when I wanted a well-needed facial. Anais, one of the aestheticians, always gives me excellent service. After our initial consultation, she determined that a mandelic acid peel is ideal for my FitzPatrick V Skin Type, which is prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation especially after it gets a chemical peel. Anais is very professional and explains everything carefully. She informed me that mandelic acid inhibits melanin production that can cause pigmentation patches. Her peel after-care instructions are thorough and direct: avoid direct sunlight for one week, and always wear sunblock! I make sure that I get a peel a few times a year, usually during the colder months when the UV index is low. My skin glows now, and I look so good on Zoom. All treatments here are incredibly priced. Check out the spa's treatment menu on their website simplyfreshskin.com. First-time Yelp check-ins are treated to a 20% discount. Including the discount, I got a medical grade mandelic peel for about $40. The spa is always emailing me with offers, yet I do not feel pressured into getting treatments. Offers are also posted on the spa's Instagram (#SimplyFreshAesthetics) and Facebook pages. This epic medi-spa has male clients as well. Recently, I got an email advertising a one-day deal for a $99 "Gentleman's Microderm Facial with Brow Wax". There are "mini teen" treatments, too. CAVEAT EMPTOR: Credit Cards are accepted here, but TIPS MUST BE GIVEN IN CASH OR VENMO. Anais makes me feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment. I always leave the spa feeling great and looking forward to my next appointment. The spa is beautiful, clean and glamorous. Just look at my photos. What can I say about Toni??? Aside from being AMAZING at what she does, she is passionate about her business and its 100% evident the second you meet her! Skin care is her heart and soul. Having her clients looking and feeling great is her number one goal. What more could you ask for!??? She's a real gem who isnt running a business for solely for profit. I chose Toni because most of the other popular locations are doing the "now" brow shape and their pages show the same brow on everyone. Toni gives you your own brows but better!! Christy is amazing to say the least. I've had lash lifts done in the past but still always needed to curl my lashes afterwards. This is the best lash lift I've ever had!
