When the manager finally came to our table, she told us they actually did not have any gluten-free options. I explained that we had specifically called ahead and were told the ramen was gluten-free with rice noodles. She clarified that only the plain rice noodles themselves were gluten-free--not the ramen or broth. That is very different from what we were told over the phone. I then asked whether I could order a poke bowl with white or brown rice. She said the rice was not gluten-free because it was prepared with sugar and vinegar. Since sugar and vinegar are typically gluten-free ingredients, I asked for clarification, but she simply repeated that she does not make any of the rice gluten-free and was unwilling to help identify anything on the menu that I could safely eat.
