I normally come for an oil change on my tow truck never had a problem. until I came for a repair on a issue I had where my steering wheel would shake dramatically after I reach 40 miles per hour. When I brought the truck to him and explained my issues and what Ive experienced before. he quickly said no it's something else, without checking out or test driving he said I have to order 2 original parts from ford and it'll be in next day. Next day came I had to call him 3 times before he told yea yea it been here come. He told me come back in 2 hrs after drop off. I stood around the area until then I noticed my truck was parked on the otherside of shop within 40 minute. I never said nothing just waited till he called. He calls me and say yes it's done. let me know how it drives and if it's not what I repaired its ok you had to repair that piece anyways. truck still had same issue I called right back. No answer . I came in the morning and he basically acted like he told me it might not work and when I confronted him him be a professional he's said he doesn't want to work on my truck no more. Basically robbed me of time and money. And lied to me. These guys are scammer and thieve. they tell you yea yea we fix and they do bad work and charge you large bills. Initially took my car to another shop after I set up an appointment, and they told me a four hour wait, also looked at my car and said there's something wrong with the back suspension of my car and it needs repair. They champion a philosophy that many auto repair/body shops fail to do, which is the customer experience. John is always transparent with the problems that need immediate repairs and warns of potential future issues. They are cost conscious when it comes to the customers bottom line and only recommend NECESSARY work. All-in-All if you are looking for quality/honest work I highly recommend the Sim brothers. Dishonest place. Overcharged on parts and deceiving practice. They charge me double price without our consent because it was in the end when everything was completed. I was told the price of fixing the two tires was agreed @ $30. In the end, the owner charged me $45 each. IN my view, this place cheats people who are not car expert or car savvy. That's why some comments are positive because they understand cars therefore, the owner charged differently. They forcefully upgrades your car part and tune up even though it wasn't necessary that way they can overpriced as an excuse. But, I have no idea that was done and replaced because the owner didn't even say in the first place. He didn't even ask for our consent. I will definitely will not come to this place again !!! I brought my Mazda in for a minor repair. I decided to goto Sims because a friend of mine brought two of his cars in here recently and they did a good job and gave a fair price. Over the past year, the electric side view mirrors on my car was busted. I can't adjust the mirrors from the switches on my driver side door panel whenever my wife and I take turn driving the vehicle. It didn't seem like a big issue at first mainly because of the great weather we've been having but as we're entering the winter months ahead, it would be a real pain to constantly go outside of the car to adjust the mirrors. I left my car at Sims for a day. They had to special order the part from the nearest Mazda dealer and to make sure they didn't rip me off on the part itself, I called the dealer's parts department to double check on the price. When I got the car back, the mirrors were working and I never been this happy about electric mirrors before. Such a small thing but such a big difference it makes in our daily commute. The shop owners are Korean. They're really nice people. Their garage is also fairly big too. The one thing I disliked about their services when I received my car back was the smell of my car. I generally keep my car pretty darn clean, interior and exterior. When I got it back, the inside had a really bad motor oil and sweat stench. It smelled like ass, I had to febreeze the heck out of it and disinfect everything inside. Other than that, their services was pretty good. I can't complain about the results. read more

We were in town for a couple of days from Boston and we started to hear a loud sound. We went on yelp and found this shop was only 6 minutes from the highway. Best decision ever. He diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes and told me I needed a new compressor. He said to wait until I got back home to Boston bc it would be cheaper and didn't even charge me for diagnosing the problem. He gave me the tip to buy the part used not new and just have someone install it for me. Super nice guy and would highly recommend for a fair and great service. read more

I think good, honest work deserves to be rewarded, so that's why I'm writing this review. I had my car broken into and needed to have both the driver's and passenger side windows (I don't know why both had to be smashed -- that's just plain being nasty and spiteful) repaired. It was late in the day (it had rained, of course) and my wife discovered the damage. I called Sim's Auto, and John (one of the brothers who owns the business) was willing to wait for me to get there even though it would be past closing time, since he could understand that I was in a bad situation. They fixed the windows for a reasonable price and also fixed another unrelated issue with the check engine light. I know it's hard to find a good mechanic, so if you're looking for one, I highly recommend Sim's. read more
