After dealing with a flood in a two unit building my family and I were faced with a forced renovation of two kitchens. After visiting several showrooms in the Bay Area, we decided to have Sincere Home Décor at the South San Francisco location design both kitchen cabinet layouts. We worked with Senior Designer and Sales Associate, Allison Li and we were extremely pleased by her friendly demeanor, quick response, and expertise in helping us put our two kitchens back together. Below is the incredible service we received from Allison: a. She walked us through each step of the process and really put us at ease during a very stressful renovation. b. My contractor was not familiar with the installation of the cove crown molding and cabinet base molding. Allison took the time to send photographs and included instructions on the installation. c. She has incredible attention to detail. For example, our refrigerator placement was next to a wall. Allison made sure there was enough space/clearance for the refrigerator doors to open at full width for the interior refrigerator drawers to fully pull out without the doors being in the way. d. She explained how to adjust the drawers and provided photographs. The visuals helped tremendously. e. She helped me when I had some issues with my cabinetry and worked with me through the process until it was resolved with the manufacturer. For example, my spice rack was not closing correctly. Allison worked quickly to contact the company and they sent the replacement parts to fix it. She also had her managers assist with adjusting the drawer itself when I brought it into the showroom. f. Her manager, Phil, assisted with providing documentation requested by the insurance company. When it came time to purchase our quartz countertops and hood vent, my family and I did not hesitate to purchase them from Sincere Home Décor. We received the same quality of customer service. Selecting the countertops was easily done at their Oakland warehouse and the installation by Ken was great. There were also plenty of hood vent options to select from and a simple process to order. My family and I are grateful for the excellent customer service that Allison and the entire staff at Sincere Home Décor provided to us. If you are looking to do a kitchen remodel, I would really recommend to come here first to get some inspiration. The show kitchens they have are some of the prettiest that I have seen. They also put all the information about what was used along with pricing in each show kitchen. I loved all the silestone countertops they used. they also sell MSI and other brands as well. The showroom includes wolf and viking appliances so it can really help you visualize what your kitchen will look like. We purchased our entire kitchen cabinets, countertops, backsplash and sink from Sincere Home Decor (SHD) for our kitchen remodel and I have nothing but great things to say about the company. The overall process is fairly easy: Either work with one of the friendly designers at SHD who will help you with the layout, help you choose the right material and then put it all together in a rendering to give you an overall idea of your future kitchen; Or, if you already have your kitchen layout measurements, just share it with SHD and they'll take it from there. In our case, we already had all measurements handy and it was all about choosing the right material for our dream kitchen. This part wasn't so easy, simply because SHD has so many options and at first it was hard to make a choice lol... Their SF showroom is the largest showroom from all the SHD locations in the Bay Area and they really have a great big selection! Thanks to Jenny, our assigned SHD Designer, we were able to pick out the perfect items for our kitchen. Throughout the entire process, Jenny was very patient with all the questions we had for her and did a great job in keeping us informed with the status of the order. Due to Covid, the cabinet manufacturer quoted 8-10 weeks delivery, but surprisingly we received our shipment in just 6 weeks! Everything arrived beautifully and without any damage. There was just one panel that came in flat rather than in shaker style, which Jenny helped to get a replacement panel at no additional cost, even though we reported the issue two months after the cabinets were delivered (construction was delayed due to permit delay). Beautiful showroom...HORRIBLE customer service. They stand around behind counter, but don't actually extend themselves to help. I've now been to this location 3xs trying to place an order. Now I'm done! Each time I've been told something different about what they do and don't do. Today i was told they don't install countertops, unless their cabinets. That's not consistent with the other store. As seen in my quote. Then told can't install countertop until I have plywood already. I said no the other location listed the installation of plywood. And, today is the FIRST TIME that I need to return a brand new/UNOPENED bath tub from Sincere within 1 hrs. of picking time because my contractor can't install the 350 lbs. cast iron tube on the second floor due to the heavy weight issue! There was never any bath tub weight discussion every presented from their sales people before I place the order! But, Phil Lee, the manager is just stone cold and cunningly insisting on slapping a hard 25% "restocking fee" on the bath tub as they always carry them in their show room! The showroom itself is a typical showroom. A good place to get an idea of cabinets, bathroom decor, etc. Other places have more tile options, but overall, I'd say the showroom was nice. What is AMAZING about Sincere Home Decor is Bao Duong. We are extremely detail oriented and wanted to evaluate a ton of different options for our space, and Bao was better than we could have imagined. He was so responsive (sometimes a few minutes between emails), sent us half a dozen or more potential layouts for the kitchen and bathroom, always provided us options to solve our issues (small bathroom and kitchen) and I can't say enough about how nice he is to work with. He absolutely went above and beyond, looking at every link for appliances we were getting to make sure that they fit with our space, looking at pictures of our current bathroom to see how we could use the space better, sending lots of options in picture form so we could make decisions, and was super fast to send us invoices after we paid. If he wasn't able to take our call because he was helping people, he would profusely apologize which he did not need to do. We haven't received our cabinets yet, but Bao made the entire ordering process so easy. In fact, we originally only planned to get our kitchen cabinets and countertops from Sincere Home Decor, but we loved working with Bao so much that we also contacted him for our bathroom vanity. So glad that we did because we had spent hours trying to find the perfect vanity for us in our tight space where we could still open the drawers, have a toilet paper holder, and have a right offset sink without the top since we wanted to match the kitchen, and it was an impossible task but Bao helped us do it with only a few emails! We came to this store a few times in the past few weeks for different items needed for a remodel and had questions that kept us from deciding on the purchase. Staff was extremely rude during my appointment and she literally rolled her eyes and hit her forehead when I wasn't understanding her explanation between the various cabinet brands. I was calm and collected the whole time so her attitude felt extremely uncalled for. Clearly absolutely no form of customer service or respect at this location. I also couldn't understand her half the time so that was another barrier, but the problem was mainly her attitude. Language barriers can always be worked through if you have patience and understanding. When she went to give me a quote (after the whole eye rolling head slapping thing) she found out the cabinet I wanted wasn't available anyway so I said I would have to pass and got up to left - she ignored me and didn't say a word. If you're looking for inspiration, this is a great stop! The showroom is well done with a variety of styles put together. Most of the options seem to be in the mid- to high-end range when it comes to vanities and sink combos. On the other hand, their tiles and mosaics are about the same or just a hair more expensive (but more unique) that other Asian Supply stores we've visited. Their check-in system seems irrelevant and unhelpful. Once you get someone's attention though, the service you get is friendly, organized and helpful. Also, their warehouse is in Oakland. What's great is the supply signs for pricing also indicate whether the item is in stock or at a different warehouse. Most of the items we were interested in was stored in their Oakland warehouse, in which case we have 1 or 2 options: order and have the items delivered to this location or (Wednesdays and Fridays only) pick it up in Oakland. When you're in construction, time is money! So we spent the time driving across the bridge to pick them up ourselves, an easy but time-consuming task. In this sense, Sincere Home Decor doesn't compare to other supply stores, which have all their supplies onsite. Then again, they don't have as many locations as Sincere so I guess that's the trade off. read more

My rental Property kitchen and bath remodel took me to Sincere to look at kitchen cabinets. Nice, large, clean showroom with quality brands. A treat to walk around for ideas. I scheduled a kitchen design appointment and met Jesse. What a treat, she had provided excellent service on three kitchens when she worked for a different firm. She took the time to understand the space I had. She provided a drawing and a quote without any pressure. Remeasuring the space made me realize the design wouldn't fit. My issue not hers. I was in this morning with confirmed measurements and ordered cabinets. Jessie is tremendous as she completely understands the spacing issues,, that sometimes you need the concept to refine your thought process. We came here for a simple bathroom vanity set for our bathroom remodel. The showroom is great. They have great selection in the showroom to choose from. The staff knowledgeable about the design, lead time and availability, etc. Everything went smoothly, from quote to product pickup. However, the final product didn't come completely installed. Instead, it came with 3 separate pieces, the vanity bowl, the vanity cabinet and the stone top. Not as a cabinetry installation expert, now we need to do the installation ourselves. Firstly, it was not clearly explained during the quote and ordering process that installation is not included. We asked if the vanity comes with completely assembled, and they said yes. However, it was not clarified that installation of the vanity top and sink bowl are not included. Even though we were told by the staff, after the fact, that this is commonly misunderstood by many customers in the past. However they didn't seem to address the common misunderstanding by reminding customers before ordering. Secondly, the follow up customer service is horrible after the product is picked up. With the inquiries we have regarding the installation, the feedback has been consistent, which is a No, with note "Only vanity cabinets are assembled. Vanity top and sink are not installed". Our contractor and ourselves are both frustrated, not only because this is not his expertise to do cabinetry installation, but also cabinetry installation was not expected to include in his scope. We came to a cabinetry store to look for professional service with expertise in cabinetry. Yet we are surprised the store doesn't provide installation service. We were told by the staff that if our contractor doesn't know how to do the installation, they are not professional. I am surprised to hear this feedback from a professional cabinetry store. For those who expect an excellent and complete cabinetry/vanity service, I recommend you find some other stores, or else make sure you have the right resource to complete the vanity installation. We are not happy with this experience, which we spend the money, and end up adding more work on ourselves. read more

Nice cabinets and selection at reasonable price. Would not recommend, however, as the good experience ended when leaving the store. They lost one of our pantries in transit, terrible customer service when following up on why it was missing/when we'd get it, holding up our project. Did not communicate to our contractor on changes we made when purchasing such as under cabinet lighting so we weren't able to have installed since it wasn't permitted and it was non-refundable so we ate hundreds of dollars not being able to use it. Cut about a foot off our kitchen by taking in where cabinets had previously been in between dining room, which wasn't noticeable in their drawings until we received cabinets. "Hole" for microwave shelf was NOTHING close to proportions shown in drawings, making it super odd looking. We bought 3 different microwaves trying to find one even remotely close to size to look somewhat normal. Pieces holding drawer runners in place were missing so drawers became misaligned and had to wait for weeks after project was finished for those to be shipped. read more
