Not the best pho spot for me. I'm not trying to bash it, but compared to what I'm used to in LA, the noodle soups lacked depth and spice. Something felt off with the bun bo hue. The grilled pork with rice was probably the best thing we had. The staff were all really nice, and a couple of locals recommended this place, so this is very much a personal preference take. We went to three, THREE, restaurants before this but strangely enough they were all closed for one reason or another. Best. Thing. Ever. Sincero wasn't even on our radar but man, what a delicious meal. We don't eat Vietnamese very often and the lady taking our order was patient and helped us figure out the very best dishes for us. Solid spot for Vietnamese food! If you ever stumble into town this is definitely a must. I was very surprised how delicious the cha gio and bun thit nuong was. You order food at the front, get a buzzer, and seat yourself wherever a spot is open (they have plenty of tables inside and outside). You also grab your own condiments and water. Cha Gio 5/5 crispy, typical eggroll Bun thit nuong 5/5 pork was tender and flavors were delicious. The bowl didn't come with egg rolls so we ordered it on the side to add it into the bowl Pho Bo 4/5 some traditional flavors were there but it's missing the typical Vietnamese garnishes like thai basil and sawtooth herb. Small restaurant in Revelstoke town. I think the only Vietnamese spot here. There's limited parking and only street parking. We found a spot right in front. They have a few tables inside and outside. It gets pretty busy. Not a huge menu selection but there's pho, banh mi, rice plates, and drinks. I was a bit disappointed by the food and the pricing. We ordered the beef pho bowl and the lemongrass pork banh mi. Presentation looks nice. Flavor is lacking...or off. The soup/broth seemed watered down. Noodles were a bit hard. Banh mi was okay. Just passing by eatery would be okay. Locals seems to like it here though. Don't expect too much. read more

I was so happy/excited to find a pho place in Revelstoke! I'll be honest: I had really low expectations for a place that was in a secluded town, but this place pleasantly surprised me with how great their bun bo hue tasted! It didn't have all the traditional ingredients (pig knuckles and pork blood), but you could tell the broth was shimmered for a long time because of the deep flavors. Their menu is very limited - only 3 items are actually soup based (pho Beef, spicy pho beef and bun bo hue), but they also have banh mi, egg rolls and drinks. There is no parking lot, but there is lots of free parking in front of the cafe. You pick up your order at the front, and bust your own table, so no tip is expected. read more

A nice, casual and cozy place to eat Vietnamese food. Kind of hidden but very close to Downtown Revelstoke, it's a must to try. The menu is very unique with different options to pick from. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, it took a while for us to get our meals and when I got to try mine, it was already cold. But besides that, my BBQ pork mix salad was really good. The flavour was great, and the pork was really well done. Visually speaking, it was lovely to see. My iced coffee was great as well. Strong and flavourful. Not your regular Starbucks coffee for sure. Prices are reasonable. I would definitely go back and give it another try! read more

This was one of the most enjoyable meals I had during a two-week road trip to eight Western AB / Eastern BC ski areas. The restaurant is inviting inside and out, the owners were friendly, the food was so delicious and beautifully presented, and the ambience was light and airy. I don't usually take food photos, but this was such a beautiful bowl of noodles. Every bite was delicious. There was a generous amount of toppings, so that every bite I assembled in my soup spoon had just the right amount of noodles, meat, vegetable, herbs, and soup. Worst restaurant experience I've had in a very long time and incredibly unfortunate as we're local and actually enjoyed the food. I've been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and never seen such poor management. This business lost future customers over a $12 spring roll. We arrived, looked at the menu and took them too the counter to order. I ordered 2 portions of summer rolls with a lemongrass chicken bowl. The woman serving me (the only person behind the till at that time) told me they only had 1 portion left so I said that would work and we would cut them in half for our table of 6. The food arrived and we got up to collect it. I noticed there were rice paper rolls on my order, not the summer rolls. Andy the gentlemen now at the front desk told me that was what I ordered. I explained it wasn't and that I ordered the summer rolls (which are actually air fryer spring rolls). He insisted I had ordered the fresh spring rolls and that they had made the correct order. Once again I explained I hadn't and would like the exchange them for the item I ordered. He told me that they would be 20 minutes and that they had already made the fresh spring rolls so I should have them. Prawn rice paper rolls are completely different to deep fried pork rolls. I explained we didn't want the prawn rolls and would just take a refund. He told me they don't do that. Once again I asked for a refund as I understand it is a basic right if the order is not correct. He said he wasn't willing to give me one as they had given me the correct order. At this point, the original woman behind the counter spoke up and explained she thought she had made the mistake and put the wrong order into the till. Andy then turned to the employee and said, 'you pay for that then. That will come out of your wage'. She obviously agreed and the awkward silence was palpable. At this point I had heard enough, absolutely no chance I'm taking money from a server who made a simple mistake. Mistakes are made, however the way they are dealt with is all that matters. I returned the fresh spring rolls to Andy as it was not what I had ordered, but refused reimbursement. He asked me again for my card as I started to walk away and I once again I said I didn't want either the reimbursement or the wrong order. I retuned to the table and started my meal. I can not fault the meal after that, the lemongrass chicken was exactly what I ordered and tasted good. The server then came over to the table half way through the meal and left $12 on the table. When I explained I simply couldn't take it, she explained she understood but asked if I would allow her to leave it there. She said 'please don't bring it back to the front desk. If you don't want it leave it on the tray'. The scene had been caused and I didn't want anymore interaction so left the money on the table, finished the meal and left. Today Sincero made $12 out of a customer but will never see another dollar from any of the 6 members dining in our group. We certainly won't be taking or recommending our guests there. The experience soured me and the backlash and story that ensued of over what was a minor issue still baffles me. read more

Fresh, authentic Vietnamese. Both my friend and I had the Bun Thit Nuong. The portion was huge and so delicious. I was pretty full 2/3 of the way through, but it was so good, I ended up finishing it all. Not a long menu, but has the classics. Great for takeout or a casual sit town. Andy, the owner, is also so kind and hospitable. He's originally from Vietnam, but the mountains called and he's living the dream. Will be a must stop anytime I'm in Revelstoke. read more

What better comfort food after a long day of skiing than Vietnamese! We enjoyed three dishes - vegetarian vermicelli, pho beef and spicy lemongrass beef. Self service cafe, servers are not very welcoming, not worth tipping. Noodle soup has different type of noodles instead of traditional noodles, but taste is good. The lemongrass grilled chicken however is really hard, not recommended. read more

Absolutely fresh and delicious! Hubby had the pork noodle bowl I had the chicken and both were amazingly flavoured and nicely presented.

We were looking for something that wasn't pub food/burgers and this place was super good. We had the pork with rice and the lemongrass chicken with vermicelli. Loved both and would definitely recommend Sincero. Just note that they have a limited quantity of the spring rolls and only serve them for a short time and we missed that window unfortunately. read more
