No paneer or chicken tikka pizza!? What!! I thought Singas had "indian pizza." Apparently not. Anyways, the pizza is A-Ok and thus 3 stars. We had the Greek, veggie, and one other that I forget. Nothing special or amazing. Of the 3 we tried, the best was the Greek. It had some feta cheese and olives and I'm not sure what else. The crust is thin and there isn't too much sauce. NEW FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE. Who knew an Indian owned pizza place could do it better than the Italians? Maybe it's just my style, and how I like my pizza. I had the HARDEST time finding this place though! I would have never known it even existed if it weren't for Yelp. I actually was with a party of about 10 people, but having such a difficult time finding the place, 7 of them just gave up to fill their tummies at Burger King around the corner. So I ended up going in with 2 of my friends on a Friday at 6:15 PM. Nobody was in the store at the time. We ordered the Onion & Pepper, Mushroom, and the 3rd personal pizza was free, but we decided to put a topping on it for just 1 more dollar. We chose to do Jalepeño. The bill came out to $13.30 altogether w/ tax. SCORE. The man told us it'll take about 10 minutes, though I think it took more like 15. As we were waiting for our pizza, a million phone calls orders came in, a dozen people in & out the door to pick up, and then the seats started filling up. We could hear the man start to say "Okay it'll take about 20 minutes... 30 minutes... 40 minutes!" Good thing we got in early. We got our pizzas and they're about 10-12" in diameter. I was so blown away by how good it was. It wasn't drenched in greasiness. The dough was thin and crisp, and the crust was crunchy. The onion & pepper made such a great combination. I stole my friend's jalepeño slice which was definitely spicy, but I love spicy so it was good. I don't know that I'd want to eat an entire personal pie of just jalepeño though. I didn't try the mushroom because I don't like mushrooms, but my friend really enjoyed hers. I shared one slice of my onion & pepper, but devoured the rest. It was so flavorful and fulfilling. By the end of our meal, we looked around and the entire restaurant had filled up with people. No wonder! It's amazing! While the other 7 of my impatient friends went to Burger King and spent $6-7 each on a fake crappy fast food meal, I spent around $4.50 on an entire pie of this pizza goodness to myself. I will sooooo be back for more, but I'll know if it's around dinner rush, that I'll just call in and order for pick up. There were people carrying huge boxes of like 20 pizzas out the door. I don't really go online and rate it but this time they really trying to fool customers because I ordered extra jalapeños and extra pineapple and this is what I get and they charged me $23.00 for 3 pizza and in only one of them I got extra jalapeños and extra pineapple and they charged me extra for all three pizza and here is the picture you could clearly see how much extra jalapeños and pineapple they have put it! You can't go wrong with Singas! no matter what pizza we order, which location we go to (JC, Edison, Parsippany are the three we have been to so far).... the food is consistently good. Awesome pizza. Plenty of toppings and the price is just right. Buy 2 personal pizzas ($6-8) with toppings and get plain pizza free. Service is quick. This location gets a lot of to-go orders. The individual pizzas are conveniently sandwiched between durable paper plates and then a paper bag is tied around everything to keep it secure. I really enjoyed the crust which was not oily. Sauce was not too sweet. Pizza was topped w plenty of cheese and toppings. I could not finish a whole pie but we were happy to take the leftovers home with us! I will be back!! read more

When ordered online and went for pickup, the restaurant was soo rude and mentioned, it's management decision and they don't make rules. 1. You wouldn't know this place existed...if you were not searching for it. It's in a plaza at the most back end corner humanly possible past an Indian movie theater. 2. The appearance of this place leaves a lot to be desired. I know it's just a pizza place but you go in and it doesn't feel very clean or happy-- or like a warm, welcoming pizzeria place. The lighting is kind of awful and you can pretty much view their really sparse "pizza kitchen" from the counter. Doesn't look like much artisan pizza-making is going on.I always like my pizza places to feel kind of old-world-ish, neighborhood joint-ish. Basically, this place is kind of in need of a makeover--- walking in and viewing their "kitchen" I was hesitant that I would even get a decent pizza--- for one, I didn't see any pizzas! 3. Their pizzas are different in that you can't order a large thin NYC style slice (well, you are in an Indian pizza place)--- you have to order a personal pizza. The toppings on the pizza are kind of sparse and tiny. When I order a spinach pizza I expect a decent chunk of spinach... I expect the spinach to look like a part of the pizza--- not like a sprinkled afterthought of a condiment. 4. Finally--- the taste. It's a good-tasting pizza. I can't tell if they use the freshest ingredients (see stingy spinach) but it tastes good. It tastes different--- I don't know that I've had a pizza that tastes like this one (and I like to think of myself having had an expansive pizza-tasting background). The sauce is good, not too sweet, not too tangy. The cheese is good as well although it is "chewier" than most cheeses (again, this makes me feel kind of questionable about the ingredients) although it still tastes good and they are very generous with the amount of cheese. 5. They pack up the pizza sandwiched between weird paper plates and wrap it up in some sort of paper baggie. Paper is better than plastic but can't they get a real pizza carton? It wouldn't be a problem except when I tore the pizza off the plate, a bunch of the fuzzy plate fibers were stuck to the bottom of the pizza. Kind of...an unnecessary condiment. 6. This isn't really a complaint but practicality-wise--- I was kind of eating this pizza on the go and it was kind of difficult to--- every slice I grabbed, the cheese completely slid off... seems like I'd need a knife to really get the cheese to properly stay on the pizza slice and not glob onto the rest of the slices. In the end, it's all about taste... and overall it was a positive pizza, so 4 stars. read more

The cheese is low quality cheap cheese, not fresh at all, no salt, barely any sauce & their sauce tasted like mild ketchup, and crust was like cardboard. It was absolutely disgusting! I've eaten at Singas many times but after today I will not be returning. We placed an order of 4 pizzas over the phone, and they were ready when we arrived, but we were met with rudeness and hostility by the guy behind the counter, now I understand with covid there are rules to follow but if you truly do not have enough space to seat people indoors for dining then block ALL of the booths. The guy behind the counter yelled at my group of 5 girls because one was going to sit on a chair to fit in the 5th spot and then when asked if he had any Parmesan cheese or red pepper to put on the pizza, before we could finish asking he had already dismissively said no and brushed us off and went to help the next person after we had just spent $30 on pizza that wasn't all that great. Not worth the stress and rudeness, I have paid by card before and today he told my group that it's CASH ONLY...that would've been good info to know before like when we called the order in...just saying...never coming here again read more

Their customer service is the worst in the history of customer service. The Indian kid with the glasses that worked there tonight is a major liability to the business. I would advise Ownership to take immediate action and terminate his employment interest effective immediately. It was 9:35pm and he bluntly refused to take my order. The hours of operation clearly indicate that the business is open until 10 pm and take out orders only go into full effect after 9:30 pm. No where does it mention that they stop accepting orders after 9:35 pm. All of workers lied to us. One stated that they ran out of pizza dough and then when my brother asked another employee said that they had pizza dough but they are only allowed to use it for the next day. The other Indian kid with the glasses said they can't take orders after 9:30 pm then another worker said that they can only make two white pies. I am uncertain as to what the exact story is as every employee told a different one. One thing for sure is that I will never ever eat from that Singas again. I have been a customer for over 20 years and never have encountered such poor customer service. Again, the Indian kid with the glasses is an idiot and should be fired immediately for arguing with customers and not doing job. He can't even speak English properly to defend his position. Hands-down the best Pizza in town and you can tell by the line on weekends. The crust is amazing, as is the cheese. The eat-in experience is terrible. In the summer the place is hot, and the tables are usually greasy (if not out-right dirty). No staff to keep the customer area clean, etc. Generic "Pizza Joint" benches, etc. ...definitely nowhere to take the family, unless you're dirt poor (or don't know any better). You're better off eating in your car, seriously. That said, I've sampled many, many Pizza joints all over Jersey. I actually go and "hunt down" rumored (or reviewed) legendary parlors to sample their version of "Pizza." Aside from Pizza 2000 in Newark, and Attilio's in Lincroft (their pre-2007 recipe, not their current one), I haven't had better Pizza in NJ. This is the best pizza in wood-bridge made with high quality raw ingredients for a very affordable price. Only rated 4-stars due to the crappy atmosphere one must endure to acquire a taste. read more

I have been going here since elementary school. They have locations all over from Edison to Sayreville to their original location in Queens. They serve personal pies with a variety of different toppings. Personal favorites are the green pepper onion, the mushroom, and the chicken. With every two pies you order you get a free plain pie, so it's a great bang for your buck. They only take cash, but the quality is great and the price is affordable. I recommend calling ahead bc ordering while you're there may require a wait. I wouldn't go as far to say it's one of the better pizza places around, but it certainly does the job if you're feeling pizza for a meal. read more

The #1 thing about this place is consistency. I've been coming to the place intermittently for almost 15 years since I was a kid, and the taste never changes. In fact, the prices have only raised slightly in that time as well and the decor and staff are essentially similar as well. This is not authentic NY style pizza but it does have a distinct dough that makes the taste come alive. It is definitely best eaten fresh right out of the oven and tends to get dry when warming up leftovers, so definitely try and eat in the restaurant if it is not too busy. This is an Indian-American legend. The Edison location is as good as all of the rest. The pizza has a general appeal, but the crunchy thin crust really appeals to the Indian-American community, and locations are packed in any area were there are a lot of Indians. The pizza's are small personal pizza's, with 'the deal' (buy two with toppings and get one plain free). Cheese and sauce are both good and well balanced. The best choices are the spinach pizza, the onions and green peppers, and the garlic pie. The pizza arguably is better heated the next day. We generally leave with two or three pies to eat over the next week. This location is in the mall next to Moghul and Ming's and parking is not a problem at all. If you are there on a Friday or Saturday night, plan on waiting for a table, the place is always packed. read more

Ive been eating a Singas (its a chain) since i was a child. First Singas i ever went to was in Elmhurst NY on Broadway. Always delicious and fresh. The one is Parlin is usually delicious. I've had a pie or two that had too little sauce and was a little drier than i liked, which is the only reason they didnt recieve 5 stars. Over all, I eat here all the time. Ahhh this is my favorite pizza so far. You get your own personal pizza (they all come this way) with the spiciest jalapenos if you want. These personal pizzas are a little bigger than regular ones. They all come as thin crust so you can eat your whole portion- if you're not into portion control!!!
