This was my first time visiting the Greek restaurant , The waiter was very polite and I loved the food. I got the chicken gyro with fries. The place was amazing and clean too

First wow'd by the ambiance then again by the food. Highly recommend their clams and mussels which were incredibly flavorful and the perfect appetizer! The chicken shish was so juicy and paired so well with all the veggies, which were perfectly seasoned. Loved that I was full but did not feel bloated at all after this meal.

My soiled napkin after working on this updated lobster pasta dish. Too much work compared to the old preparation.

I'm a repeat customer who originally found The Greek on Main on Yelp and have returned several times specifically for the Astakomakaronada. It was consistently excellent and worth the drive. That dish is why I drove over 20 miles today -- and why this visit was so disappointing. The Astakomakaronada has been completely changed. What used to be a generous, well-balanced lobster pasta in a tomato cream sauce is now served with the pasta inside the lobster body, the lobster fully in the shell, and noticeably less pasta. At $52, the experience felt more like work than a meal. Cracking claws, digging for meat, and trying to stay clean in an all-white dining room is not what this dish used to be -- or what's still shown in Yelp photos. Less than a third of the way in, my napkin was already heavily soiled. I asked if the dish could be prepared the original way. The waitress kindly checked with the kitchen and told me the owner has decided this is now the only preparation. She offered a lobster gyro, which I declined, and removed the Astakomakaronada from my check. Still, I left hungry and on a time crunch, having to ask for a bag for my leftover salad and bottled water before heading to my next meeting. When a signature dish changes this drastically, expectations should be updated. Loyal customers return for consistency, and this experience fell short of what previously made this restaurant worth the drive.

    Grilled calamari

First, I'll say that the restaurant, ambience, and location are all top tier, however the food left much to be desired. The calamari, I sent back to the kitchen due to its very pungent smell and flavor. This is after inquiring about the ingredients and deducing that none should produce a flavor profile like it (Olive oil, lemon, salt, and pepper). The red snapper was delicious but the accompanying sides were not. Finally, the server didn't greet us, share his name, or explain an anything about the menu. FYI, they do not offer wine by the glass; only by the bottle. Lastly, I enjoyed the snapper so much that I wished to bring an order home to go. However, I was informed the kitchen was closed and they were leaving early (holiday). This was not explained prior and was odd because our check was still open, thus we were considering dessert. We just grabbed ice cream from somewhere close. Honestly, I won't be returning as a patron.

    Mussels and Clams

BYOB Greek restaurant with a variety of menu options that cater to all dietary restrictions (Vegetarian, pescatarian etc). Definitely recommend making a reservation in advance as it can get busy, especially in the summer (learnt the hard way). Cute, dimly lit interior. We started off with the pita and dips, mussels/clams and three cheese saganaki. The mussels were flavorful as well as the saganaki (specifically the halloumi). For the main, we originally wanted to share the whole red snapper, but since it was not available, we went for the Branzino which was also excellent. There were quite a few bones so just beware. Make sure to save room for dessert!

We hosted a bridal shower at The Greek on Main and everything was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The owner was incredibly accommodating, making the entire day completely stress-free--we truly felt taken care of throughout. The food was delicious--apps included calamari, spreads, and salad, and guests couldn't stop talking about how perfectly cooked the calamari was. For entrées, the salmon and chicken were the most popular choices, and both were cooked to perfection. The restaurant has been recently renovated, and the décor and ambiance truly speak for themselves. We kept it simple with bud vases on the tables, and it looked beautiful and perfectly suited for a bridal shower. The service was truly impeccable, and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. It was a perfect day, and we will absolutely consider this restaurant again for future events.

Always an excellent time here. We usually cater to my office from here and it almost never disappoints. Have probably catered at least 10x by now. The meat (souvlaki, chicken dishes, etc) and fish (salmon) are always good quality and delicious. Had the opportunity to dine in also which was great. Service was friendly. Ambiance is casual and local. We will keep ordering from here!

My family has dined here twice so far & we honestly cannot get enough of the food here. The Greek on Main's take on upscale Greek dining is truly addicting and leaves even the pickiest of eaters satisfied. We dined in on New Year's Eve wanting a nice dinner to end the year on. My father insisted over and over he didn't like Greek food, and after trying one bite of the appetizers he took back those words immediately. A crowd favorite amongst our table was the grilled octopus - perfectly cooked, just the right amount of char, and overall beautifully done. We also got the dip sampler & consumed an ample amount of bread (dipped in Greek olive oil may I add - yum!!) so we were pretty full and resulted to sharing dishes for our mains. If you're unsure of what to order, look no further and order the pork chop. This chunk of meat was a showstopper and had our party asking the staff where they source their meat because it was that unbelievable. The pork chop melted in your mouth and was juicy, something completely uncommon for most pork chop dishes. Presented as a tomahawk, this main dish had the entire table wanting to hold the bone in their hands and eating like a caveman (but don't worry, we didn't!) The staff here are always patient and kind, and I loved the opportunity of dining in for a holiday because we got the opportunity to see the staff in flashy New Years accessories. I can't wait to eat through the menu and try everything The Greek on Main has to offer!

The seafood is extremely fresh, the broths are rich and flavorful, and the selection of small dishes is huge. There are tons of options for sides, appetizers, and even BBQ items before the meal. The dessert selection is also impressive. One thing I hope they can improve is the ice jelly (冰粉). The current red version tastes a bit like Jell-O, which feels a little off compared to authentic Chongqing ice jelly -- would love to see a more traditional texture and flavor in the future. My personal must-haves here are the lobster, crayfish, beef tripe, and pork aorta (黄喉) -- always fresh, always delicious. Overall, amazing quality, super fresh seafood, and great variety. There is such a large selection of seafood to choose from, for the price of $63.99 per person, it is not bad especially considering how much seafood and meat costs. Ordering is easy as each table has their own tablet to place orders but my only gripe was that staff need to enter a code before you can submit to the kitchen. Drinks are self service and you can get as many as you like, from sodas, water, soy milk, green tea. There is also a sauce bar that is kept very clean. Decor is amazing as staff informed me that the paintings on the walls were hand painted by an artist from China. For every 2 people, you get an option of a lobster or another type of seafood. Seafood options range from mussels to class and even razor clams. Plenty of meat and veggie options as well. Although this is supposed to be a hotpot and bbq restaurant, hotpot is the only thing available as the restaurant does not have the proper ventilation installed for the bbq grills, although the grills are right next to the hotpot. That's unfortunate as I was looking forward to grilling some of the seafood. For dessert, they had durian which I tried for the first time. It was super creamy and sweet! I've been missing out this whole time! Overall, our entire experience was great and I would definitely return.
