Ambiance indoor is casual and average, with my wife noting it has a "carefree" atmosphere and a couple of TVs, evokes some sort of a nostalgic quality specially for those who have been getting their pizza from this place for years. They consistently offer good pizza, delicious flavors, and friendly service. We ordered plain cheese, pepperoni and mushroom pizza, all are individual-sized 10-inch pizza. It was tasty, has good quality, and is consistent in the standard of their product. Their pizza is handmade thin, crispy crust pizza with a signature sauce with fresh topping ingredients. Craving pizza at 1 AM in Long Island ... what's a guy to do? You go to Singas, which is open until 2 AM! Located on a street corner in what would be a busy street during the day, Singas is the only place open at 1 AM. You walk in and immediately notice that all the tables are blocked off...this is TO GO only now. I ordered a couple of the cheese personal pies. Ambience: this is almost a franchised pizzeria. Food: the pizzas are personal sized. When served right out of the oven, they really hit the spot. Price point is slightly higher than Papa Johns or Dominos, but it's worth it. I have ordered from this place and usually are quiet good where I would give 3 to 4 stars however 2nd time I had this issue from this branch where they made delivery and pizza was cold and bread was hard as a rock. Last time it Happened I let it go thinking its not always but this happened again for 2nd time. I don't know what the issue is why this happened multiple times but this is something that shouldn't be happening. I am just disappointed and unfortunately no response from the management. I had a craving for pizza so I was doing a search for nearby pizza spots in the area and I came across Singas. I have had Singas pizza at two other locations. I decided to order 2 personal pies via Grubhub for pick up. The place was hard to find and easily missed despite being on the main road on Hillside Ave. I ordered the eggplant personal pie and the crispy pepperoni pie. Ordering and pick up went smoothly. During pick up, I opened the door and the entrance is covered in plastic that no one is allowed to enter but there was a makeshift window where I had to shout out that I was picking up the order through Grubhub. Handoff was smooth as the staff wore mask and gloves. The pies were as I expected. However, my fiance said the pizza was reminiscent of cafeteria pizza especially the pepperoni pie. The eggplant pie was the better of the two pies. This would be a great back up if I am craving something quick and I could actually walk to, it's not nearby where I am at but at least I can work an appetite to get the pie(s) and come back and enjoy it. read more

I ordered my pizza on the phone Service on the phone was great When I came to pick up my food the guy in the black shirt was super confused about my order and I then explained to him what I ordered I ordered 3 pies, knowing I was getting one free when I told him everything I should be getting he said okay and within that same minute handed me my bag. As soon as I got in the car I noticed I only got my 3 pies with toppings I payed for and didn't get my free one. So I went back and told him. Eating at Singas for many years, you come here with a certain level of expectation. You're going to get personal pie pizzas and it'll take some time to make because the pizzas are made on demand (except the dough obviously). If you understand those two facts, there's no reason not to like this Singas. The pizzas are solid as usual and there are plenty of tables inside. There are a couple of arcade machines for kids as well. One thing to note is that the big bottle near the entrance is actually a recycling bin, so don't throw your cans in the trash. Have dined in here and also had parties we've been to catered (in part) by this location. Located on Hillside Avenue, east of Little Neck Parkway, in a stretch bustling with Indian and similar businesses. Parking not always the easiest but that's par for the course around that area. The pies are pretty decent but the staff are not greatest joys in the world to deal with - ne'er too friendly or enthusiastic about customer service. Interior is generally clean but a tad drab. I'm probably nitpicking about that but it's just an honest observation/opinion. I've never ordered anything but various pies here so can't comment on the other fare. They're known for their "buy 2 pies and get 1 cheese pie" deal, which is actually pretty solid. They have a loyal following so that says something. As previously alluded to, one of my buddies orders a ton of pies from here every year, for his kids' BD parties, and the kids and adults alike always enjoy the pizza. read more

I really like this spot. If you get your pizza to stay its crispy from the first bite of your first slice down to the last bite of your last slice. I typically get a plain cheese or green peppers and onions pie and its always hot, fresh, tasty and crispy. I like that the personal pies are priced reasonably. As someone who works overnights there is so little I can get to eat when I'm working deep into the night. This place always hits the spot. Open every night till 5am makes sure no matter what time I get off I can get a hot meal that I'm pleased with. Definitely a fan. Wish I'd found this hidden little gem sooner. read more

Some history before the review: Singa's Famous Pizza is a legendary pizza shop that has just recently started giving franchise licenses to new owners. This branch on Hillside Avenue being one of them. The original Singa's opened up in Elmhurst, Queens in the 80s. It was immediately a big hit amongst the Indian and South Asian crowd for no other reason than that their sauce and cheese combination was perfect. It also helped that they catered to the Indian tastebuds for spicy by not providing vinegar-drenched jalapenos, but the REAL DEAL. For whatever reason, the Indian community, especially amongst vegetarians is one that likes to eat at the same places. Once we find out that something is cheap AND delicious AND can be made vegetarian we really feel like it's our duty to reach out to the masses and promote that establishment. So that is exactly what happened. But in 1992 Singa's Famous along with another establishment in that same strip mall, Jhupdi, were burned down. This started the now very popular Elmhurt's Famous Pizza. This place was started by the laborers who once worked at Singa's as a separate entity. The Elmhurst's Famous Pizza brand is what the original pizza tasted like. The Singa's of today may match the Elmhurst's in toppings, menu items and size of 10" pies, but it is not the original taste that I grew up enjoying. Now coming to this Floral Park branch: they make JAIN SAUCE and ADD VEGAN CHEESE upon request. Any pizza place that is willing to CHANGE a sauce to accommodate my VERY SPECIFIC dietary restrictions are A-OK in my book. I did have issues with them initially as their sauce and cheese tasted stale. My sister and grandfather both got extremely sick from it. But the last 2-3 times I've eaten there it's been good. It's a nice family establishment, very casual and you can sit there and eat too. Try out the mango drinks (Indian) with your pizza. A unique combination indeed. read more

I used to go to the one in Elmhurst like over 10 years ago. I haven't had Singas since they closed. So passing by this one I figured I'll order while I run errands and pick it up. Store hours say open at 11am yet no one answered the phone til 11:20. I put in my order they said 15 min. I came by after ten expecting to wait 5 more min. So No one noticed me for 5 minutes before they asked if I wanted to order. I honestly didn't know who were employees. No T-shirt advertising the place. Two nice looking dudes wearing street clothes. I mean jeans are fine but represent your business with hats and T-shirt's. Waited an additional 10 min for pizza. Most definitely not the Singas pizza that I loved and craved. I don't know when this place opened but I get the vibe that the owners are rookies which is ok you gotta start somewhere but you gotta learn quick and step it up. This is the high schooler in me speaking. Singas offers you small personal pies that you can put almost anything on it. I always used to eat one to fuel up before a big game. (Smart, right?) The buffalo chicken is the absolute best in my eyes! I've been in the establishment once on hillside avenue and it's very clean. The wait time is pretty fast.
