Great po boys! We came early on a Monday to beat the crowd because it can get pretty crowded, especially on Saturday during Pho lunch. Everything was fresh and delicious! Everyone was amazing and welcoming, even when it got really busy! Great spot to enjoy some delicious Vietnamese food! We'll definitely be making this our spot every time we come down to New Orleans!

Quaint, efficient and friendly family-owned establishment. For a quick lunch on site or to take to the fly/river it is very convenient. The Vietnamese Poboy is the star, and the fried rice is also tasty. I have not been keen on the Korean meatball poboy over the last year. Overall a fast and friendly experience.

It's called a mini mart, but honestly, there wasn't much of a mart. Some beverages, some snacks, some of this and that. The bulk of the store's public square footage is occupied by tables and chairs, there to support the star...their kitchen. I came for the Vietnamese food. On my first visit, I picked up Pork Sliders and Chicken Vermicelli. When my food came out, I felt how heavy my containers were, so I knew they didn't skimp on the portions. Dug in when I got back to the office and I was not disappointed. Meats in both orders were seasoned well and cooked just right, tender and flavorful. Turns out everyone at the office are already fans and know the staff by name. (I'm late!) They tend to go for their po boys and daily specials. Gotta try 'em all!

After passing the corner store once before, this was my first time inside and I was on a mission to get the daily special. The woman on the foodline was friendly and courteous, explaining that she had just fried the fish and my plate had extra corn (worked for me as it's my fave veggie). She directed me to pay at the front counter. There are a few tables in the middle of the mart for folks to break bread with eachother (estimate about 15 seats) or eat while watching the TV. My plate included fried fish on top of shrimp pasta, potato salad (more like luke warm mashed potatoes to me), corn veggie mix. 2 slices of white bread and tartar sauce. There was only one more daily special plate left after I purchased mine so I strongly suggest arriving before 1 pm for a daily speciall plate. I heard great things about their pho on Saturday mornings. That might be my next trip as I'm early in the area.

Had to go for a work training in the neighborhood and found this place on Yelp. Did not disappoint. I had the Korean Pork Wrap and egg rolls. The pork wraps were flavorful and spicy. The pork rolls were also great. Would definitely go back.

Came on a Saturday for the pho with a friend who suggested this place and it did not disappoint. The pho broth was nice and flavorful. The customer service was great. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Will definitely be back

Covid-19 to-go menu

My first time ordering from singleton's. I got the club sandwich. Decent sandwich. Was charged 7.99 which seemed high for a club. I grabbed a menu and left. After getting home and looking at the newly printed covid to go menu, I noticed the club is 6.99. I called to let them know i was overcharged and the lady tells me the price went up. Well I have a brand new menu that says the price is 6.99. So then she tells me her husband printed the menu wrong. I get that small businesses are hurting but to overcharge ppl is just not right. I not returning because of the dishonesty. If you decide to eat here, double check your receipt before leaving!

There were two registers at the front of the store. One had a line, the other did not; the one with the line had a Fedex sign behind it. I pardoned myself to ask if it was the correct line for the drop off. The woman said either register could help me and to place the box on the counter at the other register.; the attendant at the other register was about 5 feet away and hear d the interaction. I did as I was instructed. The woman at the second counter was tidying and dilly-dallying, totally ignoring me. When I finally commented she rudely asked if I were speaking to her and said, "if you want help from be you gotta ask for it; you can't be standing there thinking I will help you if you don't ask me." I said your coworker just asked me to come to this register. She repeated her rude little you gotta ask tirade and continued to do other things, at which point I walked out. Abominable, and not the first time I hae been treated rudely at this store. I will drive 15 miles out of my way to avoid that store.

I have signed up for monthly automatic refills numerous times, and it never works. I have to call to refill, and lately the refills cannot be made in time, so I run out of medication. The automated system is garbage, and when I opt to attempt to speak with a pharmacist, I am put on hold for a half an hour or more, and hang up. No one has ever answered the phone. Nothing against the people who work there, but it's a really bad store in terms of functionality. The rest of the store is a typical Walgreens.

During the first week of January, my lifelong friend visited Plush Appeal to purchase Mardi Gras decor for her out of state home. We are natives of New Orleans and were raised with the proper etiquette and respect for ourselves, others and community. We are proud graduates of an affluent Catholic high school and our class of women has made quite a positive impact in this world collectively. With that said, as my friend was shopping she interacted with one of the sales associates and had a lovely conversation. This particular sales associate then left the area. Within minutes two other sales associates approached my friend, accused her of stealing, and when my friend attempted to clear her name and prove her innocence, these women refused. They stated she was on camera and despite my friend asking multiple times for proof and to view the cameras, she was again refused her request. Apparently, two large men were then instructed to escort her out to which she stated she felt extremely uncomfortable. Several of her friends have reached out to the store. Ms. Vee was so nice! CeeCee though ... the manager... when I called to ask for clarification she became nasty and hung up. Long story short, nothing was stolen. If that were the case why not call the police or show the video? Most importantly to note are the differences in skin tones. My friend is an upper class African American female who was seemingly targeted for the color of her skin. Take your business elsewhere!
