That said, the lash design and mapping were not a fit for me. The set came out much more glam than what I was hoping for: very long, volumized, and low-set. On my eyes, the lashes hung forward, hit my glasses, and partially obstructed my vision. They also felt heavy on my naturally fine lashes. It's just not my personal style. The full set took about an hour, which made the experience feel more focused on speed than on customized eye-shape mapping. I do want to give credit where it's due: when I reached out, the studio was responsive and professional, offered to fix the set, and ultimately issued a partial refund, which I really appreciated. The studio is also reasonably priced and easy to book. This may be a great fit for clients who like bolder, dramatic, traditional glam lashes. If you're looking for a lighter or more natural/modern style, it may not be the best match. One additional thing to note is that the studio uses an open floor plan with multiple beds and clients in a shared room, which is consistent with the lower price point and worth knowing before you book.

Everyone who has worked on my nails here has been great. They add hot stone to a regular pedicure and don't rush to do my nails. My pedicure has also been lasting longer. I recently had a gel cat-eye mani and regular pedi done by Sharon. Although I didn't end up loving my pedi color, Sharon did check in and I said it was good. The cat-eye was perfect and I'll probably get it again in the future. The only things I think the salon can improve on is getting more comfortable chairs and some sort of entertainment in there. There's no music or tv to watch. The chairs are pretty low and when my legs are straight out, they fall asleep easily.

So one day I got curious and met up with Michelle because I've never had a facial done before. And wow. What an amazing experience! The way she perform a facial, scalp, and neck massage was above expectations! I can't believe it took me this long to get my first one. Michelle is very passionate about her career and when it comes to explaining certain things about skin care, you will know right away why she is a licensed esthetician. While she was skillfully taking care of my face, it was cool how she was also educating me about how to take better care of my trouble spots. She specifically told me what good skin products I can use to keep any unwanted pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, etc. away and make my face look rejuvenated and looking brand new. I was a blown away the moment I walked into after glo. Michelle and the AGBC team we're kind, courteous, and professional. I went in with the intentions of a simple facial and regular ole' wax but Michelle sold me on the LED therapy and a full Brazilian blowout and I'm glad I listened to her advice. I'm slicker than F-1 tires at the Portuguese Grand Prix! My skin is so soft, charmin wants me to be the new face of their tp. I went for a swim the other day and my body is so hairless I was like a torpedo gliding through the water. Yesterday was my first time ever receiving a facial and I don't know why I waited so long! Jamie was amazing at explaining both the science and effects of modalities she was performing. My face was feeling cleaner throughout and I definitely had a glo that my girlfriend noticed when I got home. I was going in thinking my face would feel invaded (watching YouTube about extractions and how others were really red after) but was surprised at how smooth everything went. Jamie also provided feedback as to how I can improve trouble areas on my skin and products to use (the moisturizer smells hella good!). I will be going back for monthly treatments and am eager to try other services she provides. Highly recommend! It's been awhile since I had a professional facial and let me just say it was an Awesome experience at the AfterGlo Beauty Collective! I had the "O2 Lift" (or red carpet) facial treatment. I really like how Jamie used the skincare products that were tailored to my skin type. Bridgette recently had a client who came in for a touch-up. Just to darken the permanent makeup she already had completed from years prior. They agreed to a touch-up, nothing to be changed, just to be touched up. This client had seen Bridgette for eyeliner previously so she trusted her. Bridgette decided during the service, WITHOUT communicating or asking the client, that she was going to change the shape of the eyebrow. Change the shape of the eyebrow. No discussion was done beforehand. No treatment to remove the previous tattoo was done beforehand. Not once did the client ask for this - she specifically asked for everything to remain the same. Yet, she walked out of the salon with a double set of eyebrows permanently tattooed on her face. Bridgette offered one removal service which did not work. She then decided to deny any and all responsibility, refused to apologize, blamed the client, and then became completely unresponsive. Again, she blamed the client. She insisted the client asked for a change in shape. Tell me, would you ask for a second set of eyebrows when you liked your first set and hadn't done anything towards removing that set? Do you interpret a touch-up appointment to mean you want to walk out with four eyebrows? This line of thinking does not make any sense to me. It blows my mind at how she has treated this client, her lack of responsibility, and her lack of professionalism. Not only is this client out the hundreds of dollars for the service (which Bridgette refuses to even partially refund), but she has to pay someone else for the laser removal of Bridgette's freehand (of the brow shape the client never wanted in the first place) AND has to pay to have the touch-up she originally asked for. Please don't go to Bridgette for your permanent makeup.

I expressed that the last time I got my brows waxed at another place, too much hair was taken off so she was very cautious about removing too much and made such to check in with me.
