Roasted: great location on the corner and nice large dining room with decent seating. Ambiance is nice - quiet and clean. sadly to say our visit today was a total wreck from the moment we walked in the door. No one greeted us and we stood there for a good few minutes. We were actually never greeted. They didn't know what a breve latte was so we had to explain that for them. They have no sugar free offerings except sugar free simple syrup. After we paid - we waited quite a while to receive our lattes. People who paid after us got their drinks before us. The actual lattes were barely ok. Steaming hot - so hot I burned my mouth and could barely drink them. No foam on them but the taste was decent and drinkable. Other than the latte taste being just ok - I'm not a fan of this place and probably won't be back again. Unroasted: great up and coming location on Milwaukee and Central Park. This corner location can have lots of traffic in the future. I believe the opened during the Covid pandemic. As I walked I noticed 2 people ahead of me waiting for their drinks. I bummed that I did not get great or even acknowledged for a few mins. No board with the menu only a menu on the counter. This slows the process dow for ordering. Once we got acknowledged we ordered and she didn't understand the concept "breve". That had me worried. Sugar free flavor they had as no flavor of that makes sense. We waited for awhile for our coffee partially because they had to figure out how to make a breve latte. We did not get asked if it's to go or here. No mugs were offered which is always a bummer. The latter itself was not that bad. It was extremely hot though. It was missing the milky foam on top and the sweetener was a tad too much. What they do have is really good breakfast sandwiches and pastries. I would bypass the coffee and get something to eat. read more

This place had terrible drinks. I had gone there just a couple days ago and ordered a thai milk tea and a brownie, and it tasted fine so today I walked back to order a taro milk tea. It was a total of 8 dollars and the "milk tea" was just watered down milk with purple food coloring. Don't get me wrong, the vibe of the place is relaxing and pretty and it's definitely hard to come by a place so aesthetically pleasing.. but I wouldn't risk coming again for less than mediocre food and drinks and even worse customer service. I left right after my food arrived since the barista was extremely judgmental and sassy. You can find a better place to go within a two block radius. read more

Bit of a disappointment, just down the street from us in our new neighborhood. Cute and clean exterior and inside. Quite an array of items to order from Bao buns to bagel sandwiches to tea, coffee, and even kolache's. That can seem a bit all over the place and unfortunately... That was the case. My husband and I ordered Bao buns, and a bánh mì with mushroom. Understandably, it was busy and when we sat down our table had not been bussed but they did eventually come over to do that as well as clean. However, the staff came later again to tell us there wasn't enough mushroom for our order. Disappointment, but that happens on a busy day. So we substituted the barbecue pork. Unfortunately, that was dry to the point of almost being like jerky. Additionally, I ordered a Thai tea which I've never tried before. Stopped by to try the Dalgona coffee and it was a tasty treat! Not an every day coffee, but a nice splurge. I was less impressed by the egg and guac croissant sandwich. The lime juice overpowered all the other flavors. You couldn't taste avocado at all and the egg only a bit. I'd get the coffee again, but pass on food. read more

I haven't tried anything other than the Iced Black Milk Tea, but it is delicious. It's not overly sweet, and you can actually enjoy the flavor of the Black Assam tea. SO happy to have a place within walking distance where I can get milk tea and not have to go out of the way. read more

Beautiful little corner coffee/cafe shop with sunny, chill jungle vibes. Music isn't too loud, good coffee, interesting selections of bites, super friendly staff, and enough room to do some work/studing if you need it (lots of outlets). Will be coming back again to hang and get some work done. For the plant enthusiasts out there, they have large hanging baskets of pothos, spider plants, philodendron hederacum, as well as some nice succulents, fiddle leaf fig, and even small monsteras for sale. Sipping Turtle is just a short walk away from me and I always frequent it for their bubble tea. I love the iced earl grey they have, and I've never had to wait for more than 2 minutes to get my order (probably bc they offer phone order and online order) and are thoughtful enough to put ice in when I arrive, to not water it down. My mother recommended this place and told me about their menu. When she mentioned they had a brown sugar milk tea I knew I had to come here. The tea wasn't the only food item I ordered of course. I also had their ham and cheese croissant sandwich. It was served on a nice large plate with mustard on one side and strawberry jam on the other. A perfect balance of sweet and tangy. I also had a cup of cream of mushroom soup which went well with the sandwich. But it was the tea that really made my day. Brown sugar milk tea is even more delicious than it sounds. I definitely recommend this place not just for the food but for the great window seating, natural lighting, and all around warm and welcoming atmosphere. Sipping Turtle opened near the start of COVID shutdowns. My husband and I started taking long walks and ended up grabbing coffee there. The espresso is strong and perfect! It's my go-to americano now. I have also tried the jasmine bubble tea and it was on point! Not overly sweet like some bubble teas can be. And I had a croissant sandwich that was a no-frills, satisfying lunch. The inside is really cute and I can't wait to be able to hang out inside with some work or a book eventually. Perfect experience on a sunny spring day. Got the Salmon Wasabi Bagel, and a Brown Sugar Tea with the cheese topping. Both were delicious, and my special request for less Wasabi (I'm a weenie!) on the bagel was honored with no issues. It was the perfect level of fatty salmon, crunchy sesame bagel, creamy avocado, and the heat of the Wasabi made for a killer combo accompanied by my tea. I live by the cafe so I come here about once a week. It's so cute! I love there hanging plants and home style decor. Usually i get bubble tea and its as good as Chinatown's one. Their coffee drinks are good too as well as their food. My favorite is the salmon croissant sandwich. I love this place! The space itself gets a lot of natural light and all the plants are a lovely added touch. The menu has a variety of options, and the food is always plated with care and style. I also like that it's conveniently located. Since I live fairly near, I often walk to ST for coffee, then hop on the Milwaukee bus right after. It can sometimes be a little too hot inside for me personally, but I guess that won't really be an issue come winter. Lately, the only downside is every latte I've ordered has not tasted very good or it tastes different than what I initially ordered. I've noticed whenever the lady (I think she's the owner?) makes my coffee it tastes *amazing*, but I haven't had the best luck with other employees just yet. My hot lattes have been lacking flavor or they taste like they were made with water. I always end up throwing it out or giving it to my partner. Since I've given benefit of the doubt a handful of times, I've just started only ordering coffee when the lady is around. read more
