So happy to have this coffee shop in the neighborhood! Cozy atmosphere, good coffee... perfect for a relaxing morning. They just re-opened on Sundays; so now they are open seven days a week! This lovely little shop just opened near my neighborhood. The coffee is great; organic, fair trade, and delicious! I asked for almond milk in my mocha and it was "no problem." They have other non-dairy options too. They pastry selection is small but soon to be expanded with their new sweet and savory crepes option. The atmosphere is calm and quiet and peaceful. Wi-fi is free, but you have to ask for the password at the counter. I'd give this place five stars if they only had an outdoor table or two. read more

Tried it since it's in the neighborhood. It took a little time to figure out exactly where it was, it's tucked a little behind a storefront and gas station. Without the banner, it would never be found. There was a little table set up outside (it would be nice it that space was expanded since there's decent shade there). The inside had free wifi and modern furnishings, tables with comfortable enough chairs. The coffee was pretty good. Atmosphere seemed more Starbucks-ey than many of the Austin area coffeeshops (but hey, this is how suburbs do coffee so it's not bad). Overall, I would return but prob won't become my fave spot. *Side note- I went to this place a few months ago, so it may have changed slightly since then. **Oh, and they had ice cream/freezes(?) from what I remember so it could be a good spot to bring the kids) read more

The people here seen very nice. I order a quad almond milk latte and there was confusion about exactly what that was. After some conversation it appeared we had come to an understanding. In the end I received a 20oz cup full of something that tasted very diluted. I would recommend this place in an emergency but if you have some time definitely go to Red Horn. read more

A nice Quiet place to study , at first I was intimidated by the way it looked on the outside and the way the menu where , but I really liked the chai latte and the organic tea options. Environment was great for my study session. Can't wait to go again and try other stuff, like the caramel macchiato or there ice cream shakes! read more

Our visit was March 4th (Saturday) at 7pm. The place was not crowded. We had 3 couples and all of us are over 50 years old and a service dog. We came in for a drink and the fantastic view from the roof top of Greenville. We sat down in a booth and ordered our drinks. The manager approached us about the service dog and requested the following 1) What service does the dog provide 2) Proof that the dog was a service dog Legally, you can not ask for either but I could understand why the manager would request this information. Therefore, I provided the ID card for the dog. This is were the night turned for the worst. "The MANAGER said that the ID card was a fake and that he could purchase the same card on ebay. We were asked to leave. We exited the roof top bar with great disappointment. It is for this reason I can not recommend Sips. The manager was rude and embarrassed my wife and I in front of our friends. We have gone to Sips a number of times with our service dog with no issues in the past. The door man recognized us and was apologetic. read more

I thought this place was great! I ordered the caramel frappe (it being August and hotter than hell and all), which was very very good, the service was great, and my friend and I sat and visited for a couple hours on the comfortable couches. Nice atmosphere and great tasting organic coffee. Coffee is a refreshing change from the overly bitter blends that many shops seem to use so I could get a nice strong coffee with no bitter aftertaste. They are right next to the flower shop so great for chilling out if you need to wait for your flower order :) read more

I have found my new local coffee shop! This is a must try. Owners are very friendly and informative. A bit hidden at the intersection of great oaks and hillside so just keep eyes open. They have wifi and it is very nicely decorated. I look forward to going back even to just relax and read a book. All coffee is organic and decaf is natural which is harder to find. The my have crepes and smoothies that I look forward to trying as well. Best part is it close and it is locally owned. Love supporting locally owned business!! read more

A great little local coffee shop, tucked away but worth seeking out. Excellent coffee, a wide range of snacks and light meals, smoothies and ice cream! They use washable coffee cups and paper plates and cups if you eat in, so not so much plastic waste. I like that. Plenty of seating. A very pleasant place to spend an hour or so. read more

Greatest place ever. All their stuff is organic/fair trade, super good, and reasonably priced. It's a family run hidden gem. The atmosphere is very easy going and quiet most of the time, except when kids get off school and come for snow cones. Who can complain? They're getting an awesome treat! This is my go to place for working away from the house (5 minutes away), but not at my office (an hour away). My only concern is that everyone will find out about this treasure and crowd me out! read more

This last time was a slight disappointment because the gentleman who waited on us was a bit abrupt but it's really hard to not love this place. Thrilled to see an (primarily) organic, fair trade coffeehouse in the neighborhood! Chai (with true homemade whip cream), iced coffee, shaved ice, and latte were very good. I was told the milk was organic. Only downfall was it was not busy but took about 25 minutes to get all our drinks. Trying to figure out how I can swing through quickly before work. After dropping off my son off at daycare, I wanted to find a place nearby to grab a quick bite. This coffee place is a hidden gem. The lady that took my order was so friendly and the environment was relaxing and quaint. I had a hot chocolate with some amoretto and a Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries. Thank god there is finally a place to get GREAT coffee close to home. I tried Sips coffee a few days ago and have been back several times since. Everything is fair-trade and organic, but most importantly to me, it is delicious. The kids love the shaved ice and the blended drinks. The people are really nice and inviting and the atmosphere is relaxed. Great place to hang out and get some work done. read more
