As well, there was no informing me that I would have to pay a service fee when I called just to come look at the recliner. So Note To Self if you ever need this gentleman for his services and I'm sure he would've fixed it if he could have, you're going to have to pay a service fee. I then went to their website link. I filled out a form requesting service and described my repair. I have an electric recliner that was coming loose. I could tell that nuts needed to be tightened and it was to the point that one had worked its way off. I received a text on my phone, fairly quickly, that said we do these kinds of repairs all the time. When would I be available on Friday (the 20th) which was the next day. I responded and they said the repair would be $150. I thought that was very expensive, but it needed to be done and I did not know who else to contact. So I agreed. Yesterday morning the young man who came was a little late but did get to my house, within the appointed hour. He was respectful and well mannered. He was well prepared with tools. He was Ukranian and spoke little English. He did have a translating app on his phone. He quickly did a good job, tightening all the nuts and I paid him in cash. I do think it was a bit of a pricing gouge, but the work seems well done and quick. And in comparison to the money spent on my chair and the life I will get out of it, it is a small price. The carpet we selected was on backorder, so it took a couple of extra weeks for our carpet to arrive. Justin came out and gave us a bid on our project. We felt it was reasonably priced for such a high quality pet-friendly berber carpet and pad. We accepted the bid the day we received it, and a couple days later paid for the materials as down payment. Once installation was done, we would pay the remaining balance. I'm never comfortable paying for an entire bid upfront. I was happy with the payment terms and felt they were fair. Makayla called to set up the installation appointment once the carpet arrived at the store. I was able to make an appointment the following weekend which worked out great for us. Frankie and his son, Aiden, installed our carpet. They arrived on time at 9am, and completed our project by 5pm. We chose a patterned carpet, so placement was a bit of a challenge. We were so happy with the installation. We absolutely love our new carpet and pad! The new pad is so cushy! I would highly recommend this company. From start to finish, everyone was professional, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely use them for any future flooring needs.

They were able to work with me on my timeline, and their install team is top notch. Unfortunately, the financing was not approved, and getting my money back has been an absolute nightmare. I have sent multiple emails--which the salesperson confirmed he received and "passed to his supervisor"--yet I have received zero follow-up. I have called the office numerous times, only to be met with the same generic "we'll let them know and they'll call you back" response. Nobody ever calls. After weeks of being ignored, I've been forced to file a dispute with my bank to recover my funds. Be very careful with your deposits here; their communication and integrity regarding refunds is non-existent.

When I explained that our roof was metal, he argued that it was plastic. Interestingly, I'd posted an early version of this review over on the G-site and someone responded that they were very sorry and that "...is not how we train our team." But I just went back and looked at earlier reviews and almost word for word, there are several reviews of similar interactions with a door knocking salesperson. Many of them have similarly apologetic replies. Make your own mind up.

Then proceeded to pre-clean all the vents with a HEPA Festool. They realized that one of the ducts was disconnected and even crawled under the house to reattach it for no extra charge! They showed us how the negative air machine works and the filter they use in the negative air machine before - and after carefully exiting with the dirty ones. Later we were able to inspect them outside! There were playing cards, a pine cone, and a massive, disgusting amount of dust/grime among other things. They uploaded a bunch of before and after pictures of the ducts along with the invoice and sent an email after they left. We are so happy we both chose to get the ducts cleaned and chose Better Air Northwest to get it done!!!

I was impressed by the process from start to finish and the noticeable difference in air quality afterward. The scheduling process was easy and transparent. I called on a Tuesday, and they were able to fit me within two weeks. The office staff clearly explained the pricing structure (which was fixed based on the size of the house, with optional add-ons like dryer vent cleaning) and sent a confirmation text the day before. The technicians, Andreas & Cody, called me 50 minutes before arrival, right arrived pretty close to the promised time. I knew there was construction down the street so I figured they would be delayed due to stopped traffic. The two arrived in a well-marked truck and was immediately professional. They took time to explain the negative pressure vacuum system they use, which involved hooking up a large hose to the main duct trunk near the furnace. They wore boot covers inside the house, which I appreciated. The cleaning itself involved systematically sealing off all registers and then using powerful air whips into each vent to agitate and loosen all the debris. They showed me the incredible amount of dirt, dust, and junk they removed from the main trunk--it was genuinely shocking and visually compelling. When finished with the vents they took on the dryer. The lint cleaned out of the vent and the filter was surprising. I expect the drying cycles will be quicker with a clean system. The entire process took approximately 5 hours. Once finished, they sealed up the access holes they created cleanly. There were only two rooms where they forgot to move furniture back in place. The immediate difference was significant: the air in the house feels fresher and less "stuffy," and the HVAC system runs noticeably quieter. I am confident that the removal of years of dust and allergens will benefit our household, especially during allergy season. Better Air Northwest delivered exactly what they promised: professional service, clear communication, and excellent results. I highly recommend them if you are looking to improve your indoor air quality.
