We came in with a diamond and very little idea of what we wanted. Emily was incredibly patient and helpful when designing our rings. She had us try on several different rings in the shop to get an idea of what we liked and didn't like, then sent sketches to my fiancé of potential ring designs. The final pieces are so beautiful we both can't stop looking at them. She incorporated the diamond perfectly, and the handcarved flowers and plants on my ring are remarkably crafted & incredibly detailed. We felt the rings were very well priced & absolutely worth it. She was also very transparent about cost, which was super helpful for budgeting. They're truly the perfect rings to wear every day forever.

Any jewelry my fiance owns that's worth anything comes from Adco Diamond…read more Aline designed my then girlfriend now fiance's promise ring 8 years ago back when we were just in high school. I was completely clueless before I walked in! Last year I knew to call Aline for my girlfriend's birthday. I sent her a picture of diamond earrings I saw at a popular chain store, Aline doubled the size of the diamonds, topped the clarity and color, and halved the price! This year I felt it was time to come in for an engagement ring. I brought my fiance in to meet Aline. Aline greeted us and immediately prompted my fiance to take her earrings off so she can get them cleaned for us while we were meeting with her. We picked the perfect setting and then we were educated on diamond clarity, color, cuts, and weights. Aline picked a line up of comparable diamonds slightly varying in size, color, and quality without telling us which was which and let me fiance's heart do the picking. Since I have proposed, my fiance has been over the moon. The quality of the setting and diamond are above par especially for the price! With all the stresses of planning a wedding coming up, we know we won't have to worry about who to get the bands from. We will definitely be visiting Adco Diamond! Aline has been there for every major step in our relationship. We intend to keep it that way for many years to come. I will discourage all my friends and family from visiting the big box stores. You're paying for just that; the name on the box! If you're wanting a gem expert who will take time and consult with you, visit Adco Diamond. The chains just don't give you the same level of service. Thank you Aline and family!

I have trusted Anthony for 13+ years with my jewelry needs…read more I first went to Boston Platinum while looking for an engagement ring in 2011. I had visited large chain stores and many shops around Boston, but I was unable to find what I wanted from any of those stores. After feeling like a well-known retailer in Downtown Crossing was being pushy, I walked into the Jeweler's Building on a whim. I didn't know it at the time but it was the best decision I could have possibly made. When I arrived at Boston Platinum I was immediately at ease with Anthony because of how personable he is. He was genuinely interested in crafting the ring I wanted as opposed to trying to sell me on something from a large stock. We designed the ring together; Anthony listened to the ideas I had to give this special ring a personal touch and brought them to life. He does all of the work himself which is all the more impressive, and it helps save on costs. Since that first time where I got the engagement ring, I've returned to Boston Platinum four more times for big life events that require a one of a kind gift--most recently, my 10 year anniversary. Each time I go to Boston Platinum, Anthony greets me like a friend and then takes the time to sit down and discuss what I am looking for. We go over every detail and I am always impressed by his sketches and designs. Then as I get to hold his crafts for the first time, I can't help but smile. My wife is proud to show off everything Anthony has made for us and receives compliments on all the pieces. I'm really glad that I had the good fortune of finding his shop.

Walking into the store I was met by the owner, Tony, who not only took the time to provide several gift suggestions, but also was willing to carry on a conversation about the outside world with me. I spent almost every lunch break for the next 3 weeks visiting tony to look at different diamonds and settings in stock while he educated me on the value of fine diamonds. I also spent some of this time visiting other jewelry stores in the diamond buildings (down on Washington) to meet other jewelers and perform some price comparison. Ultimately I returned to purchase a beautiful GIA certified diamond from Tony at a great price. Since buying the engagement ring and getting engaged, my fiance and I frequently drop in to say hi to Tony and his staff. Always greated with open arms we've returned to buy watches, earings and other gifts with consistent satisfaction. We are currently in the process on finalizing our wedding bands through Tony and will be a returning customer for life. If you are looking for an engagement ring, watch, or set of earings stop by and see Tony at his DTX store or his other store in Lynnfield. D.M. - I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at Jewelry Plus. I strongly suggest that you give Tony another try.
