Always great - love seafood lasagna and pizza - accepts reservations. One of our "go to" spots on the island

We visited on Friday, Mar 18. There were 4 of us and we were greeted and told to sit where you want. So we did. THEN told to move because they had a reservation. She took our order and was not a friendly person and seemed put out with us as if we weren't good enough to be there. We ordered wings, sat there for 20 minutes in the sun and THEN was told that they didn't have any wings!!! She brought us our drink bill and didn't say a word. We left!!! Won't return!! read more

Great pizzas and chicken Caesar salads. Always extremely fresh ingredients. I tried the pasta and wasn't impressed.

We went for lunch as a party of 9. The grouper fingers were the star of show, perfectly battered, the fish was fresh and the portions were generous. There was less satisfaction with the ultimate fish sandwich, which had the same fish but a lot less of it for the same price. Others ordered burgers and pizzas, which were pronounced OK. The only disappointment was the Caesar salad, which had mass produced dressing and croutons and was quite expensive for the portion. Service was friendly and attentive. read more

Food was excellent! Had the veal parmigiana for dinner. And, had a meatball sub for lunch. Definitely recommend it!

I've been going to sisters for years and years and, always enjoyed our dinners. Recently I changed me order and got the blackened chicken Caesar salad after my niece recommended it. The food is average-mediocre. We ordered shrimp with Buffalo sauce on the side and when the meal came out were told 'the cook didn't want to do that'. The shrimp was soggy. Very rude attitude. Got a BLT and the tomato was the bottom of the tomato. Also ordered the margarita pizza with no tomato add sauce. They charged to remove the tomato. Who charges to remove a ingredient? ‍ Will not be back. read more

What a wonderful place! I was on a bike tour today of the island. The sisters accommodated our group of 22 with great service and fantastic food. I'd strongly recommend the blackened grouper. Delicious. I'll return again! read more

Nice place to go after a day on the beach or when visiting Boca Grande. we had appetizers and drinks here and enjoyed them a lot! Our waitress was energetic and fun, and was patient explaining all the different types of beer they have, and they have a good variety. Grilled chicken caesar wrap and margarita pizza were phenomenal. Service wasn't overly friendly-- but it was quick and got the job done. They were busy and short staffed so I didn't expect to be super catered to. But it was quick and good and that's 5 star worthy to me read more

What a surprising little find tucked away in Boca Grande! Italian food can be truly hit or miss being as small as Boca is I thought (do I dare) well I'm glade I did! Let me start by saying the staff is very friendly and awesome! Very helpful on choosing something to eat off the menu. Tonight I went with Chicken Marsala which the waitress said is incredible because the chef here is actually from italy! I did order a side salad to start the dinner and I thought it was your average style house salad. Every now and then I'll get lucky at places when ordering these where there loaded with veggies! I was hoping this would happen here, but this wasn't the case. Also to come out with the salad was a homemade mini italian loaf with oil to dip it in! So fresh, warm and tasty! Loved it! I had 3 loafs! Main course! When it arrived I immediately thought JACKPOT! The presentation of the dish was perfect which usually tells me the chef cares about what his dishes look like which also normally means great food! This was the case for sure! The chicken was cooked perfect! Tender, fall apart melt in your mouth! The noodles excellent! The sauce exceptional! This was so tasty and flavorful I was actually blown away! Totally unexpected to say the least! What a great italian dish and experience for sure! Definitely stop on in and try the food for sure, dine outside, have a drink and enjoy the local scenery! 4 stars overall but 5 island stars lol. Meaning it was one of my fav places on the island. A big thing on the island is price to a value of the food is way off. I don't mind paying a pretty penny for a great meal, but don't enjoy paying an arm and leg for a standard issue meal that wasn't anything to brag about. I felt like most the places had this issue. Sisters did not. Prices was very fair and the food was as good if not better. Now if you want to chance a 40$ fish to see if it was good then go somewhere else, but if you want a good meal for a good price come here. The free bread and oil dip was awesome. Their oil mixture for the bread was addicting. Portions of food was huge, could barely finish mine and wife didn't even come close (may be at guilt of all the bread though lol). Some good beer choices. A nice peaceful outdoor sitting. All in all it was one of the better food experiences on the island and especially when we got the bill. My eggplant parm was delicious and filling. But the calamari although very fresh, seemed like it could've been cooked a little longer. Was a bit rubbery We went for dinner but seemed to be very popular during lunch so I'm sure it's a great lunch spot too read more

Came here for lunch and there wasn't any pasta on the menu - super strange for an Italian restaurant, especially given how many people have posted pictures of pasta dishes. I'm thinking maybe they only have it for dinner? The waitstaff was nice, but inattentive. Drinks were empty for too long, our server wasn't on the same page as the kitchen on food they'd run out of, and it was uncomfortably warm inside. I felt like we spent a lot and didn't enjoy any of it. Out of my group of 5, only one person finished their meal. The mozzarella sticks tasted frozen, the calamari didn't have flavor, and none of the ingredients seemed very high quality. There's not a ton of options on the island, but I would recommend trying somewhere else read more

Sisters is a GEM!!! I Grew up in Italy more specifically Naples so when it comes to pasta I tend to be a snob. But when I took a bite into that seafood marinara I drifted back to my childhood, eating at our local restaurant by the beach. It was ahhmmaazzinnnggg!!! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was on point!! I was visiting from virginia on memorial day weekend ans my sister and brother in law took us to Boca Grande. I loved this place so much I took my parents down (FROM Virginia) just to see this beautiful place and to eat at sisters. We enjoyed Sisters Restaurant last night. Party of six, we made a reservation and when we arrived were seated immediately. Wine list was great, service was about what we expected, the restaurant was hopping, lots of people waiting to get seated when we walked up. We had chicken piccatta, an antipasto salad, a pizza, and chicken parmesan. It was all pretty awesome, the only potential improvement would be a little more broiler action to char the cheese on the chicken dishes. We also hammered some appetizers, two thumbs up for the cheese sticks and the jalapeno poppers. The bread was also a big hit. Bottom line, it's a keeper and we will be back. Three of us went in for dinner and two of our orders were wrong. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, a large pepperoni pizza without sauce, and a small pepperoni with onion pizza. The waitress refused to tell us what was in the dipping sauce for the appetizer bread. It took over an hour for the food to be delivered to the table. Every other table had been served, and we were still waiting for our food. The waitress brought the small pepperoni with onion pizza first, and it took another 10 minutes for the large pizzas to be brought out. The small pepperoni with onion pizza was very under baked, we couldn't even eat it. The large pepperoni without sauce had pepperoni with slight melted cheese on top that was falling off the pizza and tasted very sweet. After eating two slices, we realized that there was pineapple on the pizza. When a waitress walked up to us she said, "Is there something wrong with the pizza? You can tell us." We told her that there was pineapple on one pizza and the other was severely under baked. She said okay and was willing to make a small pepperoni pizza without sauce for us due to the pineapple. She did not offer to make a LARGE pizza, even though we had originally ordered a large and they made it wrong. She did not offer to make another of the small pizza that was under baked. When the bill came, they did take off the two pizzas they made incorrectly which was greatly appreciated. The staff seemed rude and disinterested in helping us or providing great customer service. No one once apologized for our food being made incorrectly. After we left, we realized what had happened with the incorrectly made large pizza. Pineapple must have been originally put on the pizza, and when they realized their mistake, they took the pineapple off and put more pepperoni and cheese on top to cover the dents from the pineapple. The damage had already been done though because the juice from the pineapple had been soaked into the pizza, and the pepperoni did not have enough cheese or bake time to actually stick to the pizza. We had gone previously and had a great experience, so maybe it was just a bad night for Sister's. But unfortunately, they have lost 3 customers for good. read more

Nice little restaurant in the main downtown strip of Boca Grande. Walked over from the beach for a late lunch. Ordered the meat lovers pizza and was blown away by how good it was. Nice thin, crisp yet chewy crust, and perfectly balanced sauce, cheese and toppings. Can easily tell that they take real pride in handcrafting this pizza masterpiece. Possibly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Staff were friendly and they even allow dogs on the patio. read more

It's really a 3.5 but couldn't get it to do a half star. Ordered the shrimp wrap that only had lettuce and Caesar dressing and a few shrimp, which was quite expensive for what your actually getting. The fries were great, reason I gave a 3.5. They were golden and crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The island salad was good but somehow the hubby thought the Caesar dressing was sweet, which I thought it was a little too much on the sour side. The menu says Italian but it's more of a sandwich shop without the soup, they do not serve soup. All in all, it wasn't terrible and I would give it one more try at dinner time to see if I just ordered the wrong item from the menu. Oh, don't use the Women's bathroom here unless you are hip-less. The tp dispenser is so big and right next to the toilet that you can only sit sideways. In addition, instead of placing a small trash can away from the toilet, they have a very large trash can right where you should be putting your feet! Like I said, sit sideways, Lol! read more

If you have 90+ minutes for lunch stop by. If you go for the beaches and sunshine of BG and want a quick lunch - find a different place. Food was good. Service was SLOW and inaccurate to boot. Ordered Pizza without green peppers and when it finally came it had green peppers-would have sent it back but I might still be waiting. Our server was polite and friendly and the setting was positive but never again for this camper. read more

We called on a Tuesday night (3/10/2020) and were put on hold. We assumed the restaurant was busy so remained on hold. My friend and I tagged teamed and in the mean time, our husbands drove to Sisters to order our pizza. We were on hold 36 minutes! We listened to them taking orders from other customers and then from our husbands. No apology for keeping us on hold except for they forgot about us. Mildly underwhelming. The pizza was barely warm when it arrived at the table and the sauce could have used some spicing up. When I asked if the shrimp were local I was assured that they were. I can most certainly assure you that these are the same heavily breaded Vietnamese krill that you can get at any airport in Ohio. I really want to like this place. Oh what a nice place for lunch sitting right outside across from a pretty Banyan tree with my puppy sitting next to me. So, visiting Boca Grande was a first for me, and there will be more. It is quite a nice beachy island full of dog friendly people. But all restaurants per se are not. Which I would think would be the case, but some say they just don't have that dog license. Sisters is not saying that though. They are saying come right in, and all are welcome. They have stuff for everyone kids and adults both. They range from sandwiches, salads, new York style pizza, and calzones. I am not a New York pizza kind of girl. I'm just not bc Chicago pizza is for me. The Calzones though, they were spectacular, we had chosen the meat lovers pizza, but we have to add pineapple. It also came with marinara dipping sauce. In addition, we ordered a soda. Guess what else...the price was nice, not extremely pricey. Remember, when you visit a beautiful island with pricey houses, what comes along with that? Pricey meals, not here. Good calamari and a decent marinara sauce to go with it. We enjoyed the calzone too. Which was filled with ricotta, mozzarella, sausage, meatball, pepperoni, and ham. The crust had just the right touch of brown on it. Very nicely folded and prepared. A real classic Italian joint. Red booths and red checkered table cloths. Great food. We did take out while staying in Boca grande. The wait was 55 minutes after being told to pick up in 25 minutes so a half hour hanging around the cash register. Next I'm in Boca I'll eat in the restaurant. read more

We picked up two pizzas yesterday from here. They were both delicious!! Very fresh tasting, thin crust, and light sauce. Everyone loved it.

The pizza was quite literally an out of body experience. I've been coming to Boca Grande for 23 years and we only recently began going to Sisters. Every time is a great experience. Went with my family today for lunch. The service was 5 stars. I could not have asked for a better waitress. Her name is Rebecca. She was so knowledgeable, patient, kind, charming, and funny. Rebecca helped teach us about the island and what it was like on the island. We've been on vacation for about a week in Anna Maria island, and the best service we've had this entire trip was here at Sisters with Rebecca. The food was amazing as well. The onion rings were perfectly breaded; so when you'd cut through a ring the breading wouldn't fall apart. My mother ordered the grouper wrap and kept on raving on how the fish was so fresh. My father said the same thing, he ordered the "ultimate" sandwich with fried fish. My sister loved her pizza, and I loved my chicken tender basket. This restaurant is amazing. You can tell that all of the people that work there really care about your experience. Also, BONUS points if you bring a dog. The people there loves dogs (to eat outside obviously). My dog immediately got a bowl of water upon arrival, and some slices of chicken breast. Would totally go back, no question. read more

Came to Boca as a get a way. Stopped for drinks at other places nearby and wasn't thrilled. Stumbled across this and had a phenomenal waitress named Savannah. Food was plentiful and excellent.
