Mediocre in every way. I had a chicken parm sandwich; the chicken was burnt and slathered with cheap tomato sauce. My daughter had Mac and cheese - which was just overcooked Kraft dinner. My wife played it safe with a chicken wrap, but got chewy chicken and ranch dressing. One star for sitting outside and having an IPA on the menu. Should have just gone to Publix. read more

They had the best Italian food on the island. Their prices are reasonable and the portions are large. We didn't realize many restaurants and shops in the island closed early but in the "downtown" area and walkable from some of the hotels. If you are going later in the evening the road is very dark but they have a lighted patio. It was very nice to look up and see so many stars since they don't have many street lights in that area. Womens bathroom cabinet had used toilet paper and the air freshener was gone and needed to be refilled there was no space in there and they had a huge trashcan that took up way to much space and no family bathroom but at-least the toilet and sink was clean. read more

Sisters is the only black eye on the beauty of Boca Grande. I went to get a pizza and a burger to go at 8 p.m. First told we don't do burgers after 4 p.m. O.K. I'll take a Philly Cheese...."we don't do those after 4 either". O.K. Boce Grande pizza and garlic rolls. I was told 20 mins. In the 90 minutes I had to wait, phones rang unanswered, waitresses scurried about complaining how crazy it is. Customers walked up from the restaurant side with their half eaten pizza asking for a to go box and the bill. Folks came in to place a to go order and left because it took to long to be acknowledged. It was only after I loudly sighed in disgust that someone decided to check if my pizza was ready. None of the "Sisters" smiled, engaged or looked up to see who you were and and what you were waiting for. Over priced and underserving.....perfect candidate for kitchen nightmares! read more

One night the group (25 of us) decided to order pizza and have a salad for dinner. I thought ugh! Going to be greasy and cold. I only eat organic pizzas with whole wheat crust. We wanted outdoor seating and Sisters has several nice tables available for that. Boca Grande was nice and peaceful at 5 o'clock on a Wednesday, and that was a perfect dining environment. The oil for dipping your complimentary bread is OUT IF THIS WORLD!!! I am vegan and they created a vegetable (sautéed in oil not butter!) pasta marinara that was delicious. My mother says they served a perfect sesame seared tuna steak and the service was great. read more

This restaurant is a great restaurant to go to! But sometimes its a long wait for a table or to get your food! But an easy way to get a table quickly is to make a reservation! We always have a great experience each time we visit here. Whether it's sitting in the dining room for a family dinner out or enjoying the cozy small bar counter top ,the experience is always enjoyable. This is a great place to take the children on island, the prices are reasonable and the pizzas are very tasty. Be sure to ask about any daily dinner specials as well. A personal favorite on the menu is the Champagne Chicken. The staff is always extremely friendly and attentive. Keep in mind the menus aren't the same for lunch and dinner as far as entrees or sandwiches. read more

Had lunch there on Tuesday while I was in the area. Food tasted good but 4 of the 5 in our party ended up with gastrointestinal issues. The only common denominator that we could determine was the grease from the fries & onion rings. Have to wonder if it is changed regularly. 1 person was sick within 10 minutes of leaving. Sisters is probably our favorite restaurant on Boca Grande. It is right across the street from the Gasparilla Inn, great location! The lunches and dinners are both fabulous. We love the salads, the Greek salad is phenomenal, the Caesar with Chicken is another favorite! They have a terrific Grouper sandwich or wrap! They are the only pizza place on the island, and it's good! I have never had a bad meal at Sisters! The owners and the staff are super friendly and accommodating and they allow dogs on the patio which is a huge perk! read more

My wife and I went here for dinner and the service and food was outstanding. We ate outside and the service was quick and courteous. I had the seafood lasagna and my wife had the meat lasagna. Both were perfect, very tasty and I want to go back for more. We conversed with people at another table who have lived here a long time who come to this place often so I know it is great. Went here because it was one of 2 places open for lunch in the off season... it was great though. We had their home made pizza and it was fantastic. Homemade crust and marinara sauce. We had the meat grinder and it had homemade meatballs on it as well. Nice gal who owned it and who waited on us. We may even go back there for dinner because it was that good and its one of 2 places open for dinner the last week in September. read more

We had the Greek salad- fresh and a generous serving we split it. We also split an excellent pizza. It is rare to get eggplant properly prepared especially as a pizza topping. The beer selection needs a little work but the house Syrah was good. They do allow smoking on the deck and 3 loud idiots from Chicago decided to sit next to us and smoke and one repeated his "scary" "near death experience" w a minor mechanical out of San Juan 6 times in a loud voice. I stopped here with my mom and grandma, and we both had never been here. We are visiting here and decided to stop. My mom and I had the grouper sandwich and the grouper tasted super fishy and not fresh. It was not worth the $14 we paid for it. We both could not eat it. My grandma got the tropical salad with chicken and the chicken was rubbery and over-cooked and she could not eat it. The service was good, and our server was nice! We had a delicious dinner and great service in this restaurant last night on Boca Grande. We've eaten at all the more expensive places here, but I must say this place is reliably good and affordable. My entree was custom made by the chef because I have a food allergy and the staff was totally accommodating. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and served over a bed of fettuccine noodles that were lightly tossed with olive oil and garlic and lemon. A simple, but perfect medley. And the hot, homemade rolls are divine! I will be back. Also, the best pizza I've ever had. This place was filled with regulars who know not to overlook it. The 4 star rating is only because of the more casual setting, the quality of the food is a 5! read more

Sisters seems to be an appealing spot from the outside, but after having two meals there in the past week, I can honestly say that I will never return to nor recommend Sisters Restaurant. The food was mediocre at best, and was incredibly overpriced for its value. The waitresses and the front desk were unhelpful and generally unfriendly. However, I returned for a second time because I had a gift card. I had attempted to use the $50 gift card on my first meal, but the restaurant claimed that I was only allowed to spend $25 worth of my gift card. The waitress was incredibly unhelpful and unwilling to make any adjustments to let me use the gift card. I decided to return again to use the remaing portion of the card. Upon my return, I was told that I would not be able to use the second part of the gift card, because they claimed it was for dine-in only (although this was never marked nor mentioned anywhere, even when I had called ahead to discuss the use of my gift card). This time, the staff was not only unhelpful, but also was flat out rude to me. When I called the management to complain, I was shocked that the manager was just as unprofessional and disrespectful as the staff. I will never return to this institution ever again, and I will tell all of my friends about the horrible service I received at Sisters Restaurant. read more
