The group classes are really beneficial to reinforce Goldie's continuing training. Brandon the owner is well organized and runs his company successfully. I would highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone seeking dog training especially if they own a reactive dog.For the first time I was able to walk our reactive Goldie around other people and dogs and enjoy taking her trick or treating with the grandchildren. Thanks to Sit Means Sit.

Working with Bobby has been an absolute joy thus far! I signed Bauer up, my 8mth old black lab/border collie mix because I was having serious issues with separation anxiety, food scavenging, not listening to me when called, etc. My friend recommended SMS to me as a number of Dock Dog members and Las Vegas Lab Rescue people have used them before with fantastic results. Bobby came over for our free consultation and explained the program, and offered 2 different options to us. Both training options require you to purchase the training collar. It is a shock collar, but in reality, it's more of a device designed to get your dog's attention, kind of like tapping you on the shoulder to get a human's attention. I physically felt the impulse the collar generated when the remote button is pushed to grab the attention and it's not harmful or strong at all on the settings they recommend. After only one training session of teaching Bauer "Come" and "Sit", he is a much more attentive dog and calmer. My neighbors have even noticed the difference on our walks, he's not a wild man jumping, pulling me when he sees other dogs or people calling him anymore. The biggest thing w/ doing this training and I think it's a popular misconception amongst those unhappy w/ the program, YOU have to work w/ your dog as well. SMS Training is not designed for a trainer to come in and train YOUR dog for you while you go out grocery shopping, or sit on the couch and watch. The program is designed to help your dog understand what you want it to do. It teaches YOU to be in command of your dog, so having a trainer come over and do the sessions and then not work on what you and your dog learned after he/she leaves, is not going to work. It's pointless to even sign up if this is what you envision. We just had our second session this past Monday, and worked on the "Place" command. Bauer "got it" in 2 tries. All the things that we're learning with SMS helps with all the problems we have had in the past. When he wants to run or pull on the leash, I use the Place or Sit command to calm him down. If he's barking or nervous when someone is running by, or kids are screaming (which normally freaked him out before), I use the Sit command to get him to relax. All of the methods they use tie into things you can use to prevent bad habits. Even though you may want to discourage a bad habit immediately, what you're learning early on will help achieve that in the future. It's not an immediate stop to counter surfing, or jumping on people which your dog may have issues with. The program itself, the two options they offer, include lifetime group sessions at local parks around the valley. I am excited for the group sessions when we're ready for them, and Bobby will let us know when we are. If we're not, he said he will come back for another lesson to ensure we're ready at no cost. They stand behind their product. At no point has Bobby been aggressive or physical with my dog which is what I was worried about. I didn't want Bauer to lose his personality either just because he may think he has to be ready for commands all day long. Bauer has kept his puppy playfulness when he knows it's ok to be playful. I didn't want him to be a demo dog, as I feel he's like my child. Thank you SMS for all you've done and to Bobby personally for understanding my fears and concerns for Bauer. We're happy campers!

They do a great job keeping pet parents informed and will reach out if they notice anything out of the ordinary, even something as minor as an upset stomach. A Training Program That Truly Follows the Dog - Exceptional Transferable Guarantee!…read moreMy husband Jim and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bark Busters! We fostered Willow, a Labradoodle, intending to find him a forever home, but we completely "failed" at fostering and fell in love with him. Willow's previous owner had invested in Bark Busters Gold Service training before we adopted him. As a disabled Veteran, Jim has found Willow to be an incredible mental health support, and we wanted to ensure we continued his training properly. A Guarantee That Truly Puts Dogs First: What truly sets Bark Busters apart is their remarkable Life of Dog Support Guarantee, which is transferable when a dog is re-homed! This transferable guarantee demonstrates Bark Busters' genuine commitment to the dogs they train, not just their clients. They understand dogs may change homes and built a system ensuring those dogs receive lifelong support. This is virtually unheard of in the dog training industry! Seamless Support: We contacted Bark Busters to learn about Willow's training, and they made the transfer process incredibly smooth. Their focus was clearly on Willow's wellbeing and ensuring continuity in his care. They taught us the Bark Busters method - natural dog communication using body language and voice control that Willow already understood. No treats, no harsh corrections, no complicated equipment. The Results: Thanks to their transferable guarantee and guidance, we've maintained Willow's excellent behavior and strengthened our bond tremendously. The relationship between Jim and Willow has flourished, making an incredible difference in Jim's daily life and wellbeing. Lifetime Peace of Mind: We can contact our certified trainer anytime new issues arise - for Willow's entire life. As he grows and faces new challenges, we have peace of mind knowing professional help is available. Even if we relocate, the guarantee moves with us! Our Recommendation: If you're struggling with dog behavior issues, we wholeheartedly recommend Bark Busters. They work with any breed, age, and issue. Their trainers are knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping families. Most impressive: their Life of Dog Support Guarantee is transferable when a dog finds a new home. That forward-thinking policy shows incredible integrity and true commitment to every dog they train. It's a game-changer for rescue or adopted dogs. Willow is a well-behaved, happy companion, and thanks to Bark Busters' transferable lifetime guarantee, we have confidence and support to continue his success. We're so grateful for their innovative approach ensuring every dog receives lifelong support, regardless of circumstances! - Jim & Tammy Proud parents of Willow the Labradoodle

If you're looking for a knowledgeable and professional dog trainer, Nick brings both expertise and clarity to the process. His approach gave us the confidence to move forward with one of his puppy training packages. The group sessions have been incredibly valuable--providing structure, socialization, and meaningful growth for Koa. We're especially grateful for the one-on-one guidance Nick has given us, helping us confidently reinforce commands and build strong obedience skills at home and on walks. We've seen tremendous improvement, particularly in managing Koa's over-the-top excitement when greeting people and other dogs. Content K9s also offers boarding and training to their clients, so having that option during our recent 2 1/2-week international trip gave us complete peace of mind. Koa was clearly well cared for, and we returned to a happy, well-adjusted pup. Nick and the Content K9s team deliver professional, effective, and thoughtful dog training. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for puppy training, obedience training, or behavioral support.

He trained me as well on how to be a stronger mama bear and take my power back. He taught me to "lock up" my couch since the couch was misbehaving when I wasn't home. Haha. Now my furniture is safe, my dogs aren't tempted and they can be unsupervised more often without getting into trouble. His weekly group classes are a lot of fun to bring the dogs to so they can play and train at the same time. Additionally, their prices are really reasonable compared to other places. My recommendation to get the best bang for your buck is to do the 3 week training program at their facility while coordinating with an extended vacation you might be planning. Their price is in the same ballpark as an upscale boarding house, except you get the huge benefit of the training and attention for the pooch! The team is also very personable and flexible, being very gracious with their schedule when I needed some follow up training sessions to make sure I was reenforcing the training properly. I also always was left feeling secure that these guys are dog lovers and my precious gal was in caring hands when I was out of town. All in all, I sincerely was very happy with my experience and have already recommended them to several of my friends.
