Grace was our trainer, we hired her to help with our dog reactive German shepherd. While she was a good trainer, that was only in the times we actually saw her. We had a total of 2 sessions with her and 1 group session led by another man (which consisted of us walking in a circle and performing moving stops for about an hour. Primary focus was small puppies, so really I had just signed my morning away to walk in a circle and watch other people get talked to.) We tried to schedule another session with Grace, as the promise was that the training wasn't over regardless of time, only when the training goal had been accomplished, and I had concerns that my dog was still not at a point to call our training complete. Unfortunately, Grace just. Never responded. We reached out twice, both with no response. We paid 1400 and find it ridiculous that this was the professionalism we got. There was no warning at the dog park that they would be shooting blanks as part of their training. Other dogs that attend this park were forced to leave because of the noise. They repeatedly threatened to shoot our dogs. They seemed unconcerned about threatening, that their dogs would attack our dogs. They were beriding all patrons of the park as they entered the park. 100% recommend. We got the 3 private sessions and 1 yr access to group training. They are very good trainers. 1 hour training every session with other dogs. We've learned a lot. This training reached beyond our expectations. They taught us how to handle our dog in stressful situations. We always apply the trainings we do at home and it definitely paid off the money we paid for. We have a 2 year old pit bull. She used to pull us whenever we walked her, always reacting to dogs. She didn't listen to us at all. And after few months of group training. She now knows how to heel, come, off and a lot more commands we use. We can control her with other dogs around her. Sam is the BEST! Such a great trainer. He's like the Dog Whisperer. Has a very calm personality. Very patient with training me, as well as our dog Charli. I was a little hesitant about spending the money, but needed our dog trained to travel in a carrier on the plane. She's six years old, so wasn't sure you could train an older dog. I signed her up for training because having my gangster tested everyday was exhausting. She is halfway through her training and already she is like a new dog! Justin her trainer has done wonders with her and transformed her from one of the children of the corn, to a dancing queen! I can walk her off leash which is something I NEVER thought I would be able to do with her. Absolutely the worst experience for our family. We contacted 7F Dog Training from an ad on Facebook. We scheduled an appointment with their trainer in the Huntington Beach CA area. He came out and was a little rough but we figured that our dog needed it. His name is Adam Mesim. He required a $500 deposit which we paid home. Then about a week later he called for another $500. Of course we paid him assuming that 7F Dog Trainer had sent him to us and therefore he was legitimate. It turns out that 7F Dog Trainer had let him go because of his treatment of customer's animals. We did call the HBPD to file charges. They felt that we should write a review on Yelp and take them to Small Claims court. I did call and spoke to Dawn at 7F and she gave me his phone number. 7F said they did not receive any money from him. So I guess we are just out $1,000? Dawn also mentioned that Adam had done this same thing to other customers. We just want our money back! This is fraud! read more

Ok I'm very happy that I looked into this place before hiring any of these people because I was so close to giving up over $1500 for God only knows what kind of service I would've gotten. So I'm happy that I didn't invest that much money on what would've been a coin toss and probably worse odds than that judging by all the reviews. I specifically looked through so many reviews just to see the name Emily because that's who me and my boyfriend met with when we had our consultation. Like other reviews say, we saw a great demonstration of different commands her own personal dog was very obedient in. There were a few issues pretty early on even before the consultation and I was very surprised to see several other reviews mention the same thing that I am about to mention, and that is my very first appointment was canceled via txt due to the trainers car breaking down and no one else being at work because it was Mother's Day. That appointment was just a consultation so I didn't let it get to me too much & just txtd back "that sucks" However because the very first appointment didn't go as planned, it hit an intuitive nerve with me and I decided not to reach out to them after I text the words "that sucks" the day they cancelled. A week went by and one day I received several text messages apologizing about the mixup and wanting to reschedule another consultation with me. Me and my boyfriend went to the consultation the following week and as I stated before met with Emily and Saul her dog is very obedient and skilled in her commands. Even though that was very impressive, I had to inform and question Emily on the type of training we were looking for. When I made the first appointment with the company I specified very clearly that I did not need obedience training, I needed protection training for my dog. Protection training is the only thing I was focused on that is the only thing that I am willing to pay for. This was made very clear very early on and that is what my consultation was supposed to be for. Protection training. So when Emily informed me that she was in obedience trainer me and my boyfriend were pretty bummed out that we had wasted the one day that we don't have work or school to go all the way to the other side of town for something we didn't need and we're not interested in. We were informed that we needed to have another consultation with someone else for protection training. That was all fine and dandy until Emily pulls out paperwork and starts informing us of the different packages for the obedience training and that we need it to give her either some type of down payment, or a check or money order or even a debit card so that she could hold the price for us. If we didn't give some sort of down payment THAT DAY then the price would go up $100. I explain to her that we will be discussing it further and later on that same night I will get in contact with her. Which I did end up doing later on that night and I let her know that I will go ahead and take the extra hundred dollar fee because I wasn't going to be able to make the payment that same day and that I would be paying it instead the following week and she said it's not a problem and she would actually waive the hundred dollar fee and let me get the discount anyway. However, almost immediately after I got done having that conversation with her I started looking up the company and saw countless negative reviews and then I started to think back on the prices of things and it didn't make any sense. The sessions would cost no less than $1200 and it goes up to almost $4000 but the classes that take place almost 7 days a week is only $200 a month. And she informed us that we can come to class every day if we choose to. This makes no sense to me because how can a person come to class seven days a week and only pay $200? Our pup was already a great dog so not a lot of training was needed. They did switch trainers in the middle of training and the collar we were promised (which came 2 weeks after it should have) was different that the one our trainer had. Besides those things, we really enjoyed Monika and her time with our pup. I wish the collar was more of a Pulse than the jolt. A bit overpriced. I wouldn't do it again unless my dog had lots of issues. They had good follow up and I liked that! Over priced but I made the decision so I made the best of it. First our main trainer was Jaye. He was amazing with our dogs. They looked forward to going with him on their one on ones and always came back tired. I am thankful for what he has done for our dogs. Next is group training, we have begun group training however our female has slipped into bad habits not because of the trainer but because she is stubborn. We have been doing group with Jayme and she is also amazing. She has been helping our girl and her triggers. We have done a pack walk and that was amazing.
