Not only was she friendly and knowledgeable, she made sure I was comfortable with the information she provided and allowed space for me to ask follow up questions without ever getting impatient or frustrated with me. However, there was no one available to assist in that aisle. There were three of us needing assistance, but none was provided. I went to the customer service desk twice to request assistance in aisle 14, but no one came. Ultimately, I spent 45 minutes finding a cap for my screw by myself. The cashier opened the two bags I brought to the register to ensure I wasn't accused of theft. This situation was highly unsatisfactory. It should not take 45 minutes, or even 30 minutes, to receive assistance. There should be a sales associate available in every aisle, especially after requesting help from customer service.

They check identification, which I'm happy about, as so many places these days simply take you at your word and don't. With high price items, it is a must. I came in to look for outdoor deck cushions and a storage bench. I've been looking and had already been to the other store. They also had what I was looking for so I just needed to make a decision. I like that the deep cushions for deck furniture comes is sets. They sell the deep cushion and the pillow together. They have an array of colors. While here I went to the plant clearance section. YES! Lowe's has plants on clearance! I always go check it out. I was trying to figure out the prices when the gentlement escorted me to the sign. Doh! So, I bought a few palms, pansies, and a beautiful assorted plant all on clearance. WINNING! Come check out the plants on clearance!

They scanned the barcode, and it came up in their system--but they still couldn't return it because it had been delivered from the Waldorf store. Apparently, since it was a special order (34" x 81"), it had to go back into that store's inventory. What's the point of shopping at a nationwide retailer if returns are tied to individual store inventories? It feels like they care more about their internal systems than customer service. My advice: never place special orders for delivery--have your contractor pick them up instead. Ironically, I'm returning it because I don't even need a "special order" size after all; I just needed a standard 32" x 81" door.

I was especially impressed on the most recent project that included mounting of a digital photo frame. Carlos simply "wasn't having it" to mount the frame with the electrical cord showing! He expertly drilled holes and snaked the cord through the inside of the wall and back out just above the electrical outlet for an amazingly clean look. He had the finishing caps to cover the entry and exit holes too. Carlos and the crew also took a very personal interest in mounting my career memorabilia (22 plaques and awards!) beautifully in my home office. And they are undaunted by "oddball" stuff like mounting clips for a tapestry in my media room to cover unsightly electrical panels. Their excellence starts with the manager Marc who gathers a LOT of information from you (pictures, model numbers, installation videos, etc.) so that the crew arrives fully prepared. Not only are their prices very competitive, but Flatpack offers a flat RATE quote so that the crew stays until the job is completed. I'm very pleased to have found this amazing company.

Once you reach out to them with the specifications of your project they will quickly respond with an estimate and even pictures of similar projects they've done. I reached out on a Monday and was able to have my wall be installed on Saturday. Now that's service! Trey was/is the 'real deal'; very professional! ...worth every dollar! When he set up his tables, tools and camera to video the install I knew I was in good hands! He was helped by Khadir and another young man. They communicated well and made a great team. They arrived early (who does that? Contractors are rarely on time). He explained everything along the way, to include the parts that were missing (luckily it was only a few screws that he had in his tool box), how to work the bed, and which mattress would be the best for that bed (based on the instructions given). I am so relieved to have this project complete. I have no doubt about it being installed correctly. Great job. I'll definitely call them again if I need similar service. By the way, they also followed up with a detail list of what was missing (by part number/name) and where to find it in the manual. That made it easy for me to get replacement parts from the manufacturer. Great job Flatpack!
