I love the strawberry shortcake crunch ice cream too. I didn't love the beef from the hibachi. It was chewy. The service at our table is great. They clear our plates and get drinks for us. Everyone is nice and helpful. There's a lot of big groups here, & seniors have a good deal here for the price. That said, if you're not big on seafood (like me), you'll still find some solid American options. Many Asian buffets tend to limit those choices to basics like pizza and chicken tenders, but Buffet City goes a bit further. I was pleasantly surprised to see pot roast, mashed and roasted potatoes, and even fried chicken. They also have soups, salads, and a dessert selection that's actually pretty good. Come prepared--this is definitely an "elastic waistband" kind of place because you're going to want to eat your money's worth. The restaurant is surprisingly clean and well-kept, and the food stays fresh. The hibachi station has a great selection, and the chef is quick and thorough. Service is decent. Staff come around to refill drinks and clear plates regularly--but be warned, if you're not finished, guard your plate like it's gold. Same goes for your utensils--leave them on a plate, and they're gone. We saw how meticulously they clean the tables and floor when people leave, and that is not something common in other restaurants. The restrooms were super clean too. Cleanliness is one of my top requirements when I go to a restaurant. The only thing ai would recommend is that they ask their clients if they have any allergies. I think that is a must and they are missing there. Hopefully they read this and implement it as soon as possible. For us, Curry Mango exceeded our expectations.
