Ham, corn, mashed potatoes, Turkey, and green beans
Ashley B.

Came here last weekend with my family. Took a second to be seated. Then it took a lot longer for everything else. I don't like being rude about employees, but the server we had was a total ditz. My mom's boyfriend was doing the over the top sarcastic back handed compliments with her the whole time. We put our drink orders in, which took a bit to get back. Then when we were ready to order food, she only put my kids orders in and ran off and started taking other customers orders while we were left in confusion as to why we hadn't been able to place ours at the same time. Also, PLEASE train your servers on what GLUTEN FREE means. I asked her if they had anything that was, and she said, "what's gluten free?" I can't make this up. I ended up ordering a salad with grilled chicken and Italian dressing. My daughter had pancakes with eggs and asked for sausage, but they still gave her bacon. She never came back with the check, so we ended up walking to the front to pay. Probably won't be back for sit down again. My grandmother ordered their food to go for Easter dinner, and I do have to say that what food I was able to eat, was very delicious. It was Turkey, Ham, Mashed potatoes, green beans, and corn. Hopefully some day Bob Evans will offer Gluten Free options. I love dinner rolls and hate that I have to miss out.

The Melon was a bit hard and it wasn't juicy like usual. The Bacon was good and crispy. The Caramel Apple French Toast was amazing!!!

It was a chilly in the back. The vent was cold. Our server Karen was exceptional. Our food was so good. We were a table of five. Our food was served hot and Karen was intentional to ensure we were satisfied with our meal. One person in our party's eggs were not prepared properly unfortunately it couldn't be resolved, however Karen spoke with her manager and they adjusted the bill. I love when your server cares for the customer. We had a great experience and we would return.

Fried chicken. Took 45 + minutes to get this. They were not that busy, 10 people or so in the restaurant.

Very disappointed with service and time to prepare food 45+ minutes and they were not busy at all. Corporate needs to visit this location and make changes.

We all were told 20 minute wait in between each seating, cause the employee needed to break...11:00am.. she needed a smoke break

We also ordered grilled cheese and a cup of Tomato-Vegetable soup($11.99) (they didn't have just Tomato soup today). The chicken tenders (served with 3 tenders) were tasty as were the fries. The onion rings were impressive to look at as they were huge but the breading was overly thick and they were not crisp. They had potential but I don't need to order them again. The grilled cheese was more of a toasted cheese made in a toaster oven rather than a griddle like is expected. We likely won't order this again....unless it's really grilled. The Tomato-Vegetable soup was really tasty and worth getting again. Our Server was Gina and she was really nice and just as attentive as we wanted/needed. The dining room is pretty large with a combination of tables and booths and it is wheelchair accessible. They have a dessert case as you enter the restaurant with a combination of cakes, pies and what looks like a tasty cinnamon roll. We didn't try any desserts but it may be worth another visit just to get dessert. This restaurant is pretty ok with potential to be really good. It's definitely a comfortable place to have a meal.

The ribs were not good, tasted boiled, not smoked and not broiled, rubber on a bone. The Salmon was thin overcooked filets. The coleslaw had no flavor, cabbage in milk bath. The dish of bread dressing was burnt and the hush puppies were overdone, dark brown golf balls, not GBD. The Vegetable sides appeared for the most part to be straight out of a can and tastes as such. There was a breaded corn pie that was great, I went back for seconds on that. The desert bar had a few cakes and pudding items. Drinks were not included with the buffet. The resturant is clean but very plain, a kind like a cafeteria or soup. Honestly, Golden Coral would have been better than this place, and i don't like Golden Coral!

It is a very big restaurant, could easily fit a couple of football teams. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the restaurant. Our server Brendan was amazing. Super high energy, super friendly and super on point with refills and making sure that everything was good with us. Honestly, he really did make our dining experience a pleasure. Now onto the food. So many options. A long buffet of salad. A long buffet of hot foods and plenty of side dishes. Desserts Yum. I started off with the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn casserole, macaroni and cheese, chicken and dumpling soup and a soft sweet roll. And that was just plate number one. I'm not gonna go over every single thing I ate, but let's just say I truly think that this place is a must go to for dinner, lunch or breakfast. We enjoyed our dinner so much tonight that we are actually going back again tomorrow to do this again. The menu rotates and changes daily so there's plenty of food options and it is all you can eat. So my advice is simple. Go to this restaurant and go hungry and be ready to meet some really nice people and have a really good time.

My wife ordered her favorite, the Southern Classic Salad, which is 2 citrus grilled chicken tenders on a bed of lettuce with a scoop of house-made guac, sliced egg, bacon, tomatoes, red onion, smoked gouda, cilantro corn, croutons and a citrus vinaigrette dressing. It was delicious as usual and a huge portion! She ended up taking half of it home for later. I went with the 2-piece Perfectly Fried Tenders, medium heat with sides of So Gouda Mac and Bourbon Baked Beans. The chicken pieces were quite large and were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The pieces were served on a piece of white bread with a pickle on top! The fried chicken is so good that I could eat here every day! We were both stuffed, so we skipped the Peach Cobbler and Banana pudding this time. It was a beautiful day, so we ate our lunch outside on the patio, entertained by the great 80's music and occasional police siren (since Florida Ave is a busy street). All in all, we had a fantastic time and will be coming back again soon! We both highly recommend Love Bird!

It's funny when you compare size, the grilled one is so small compared to the double fried super breaded other one. I asked for medium heat, but it really tasted mild. The Gouda Mac is good like always, but the dirty fries... Oh my God... So salty!!! You can literally see it's covered in salt crystals!! I only ate like three and had to throw out the rest, what a waste of a side. For dessert, I got their seasonal apple cobbler... Does not hit like the peach cobbler. Way too much cinnamon, not enough caramel just very blah. Overall, really disappointed with my lunch. I was not satisfied at all, and I will probably not be coming back for quite some time.

HEALTH WARNING: Read before you visit…read more We stopped in for breakfast, drawn in by what the reviews describe as a "quaint Japanese-style eatery." What we found was something else entirely. FOOD & VALUE We had two glasses of tap water (which tasted sour), a sandwich with fries, and an American breakfast. The sandwich was just okay. The fries were actually good. Everything else failed: the scrambled eggs were flavorless and visibly undercooked, the bacon came as two thin, unevenly cooked strips, and the toast was served without butter. When we asked, the cook had to search for some -- only to return with butter that was frozen solid and jelly so dried out it resembled fruit leather. They were also out of hash browns, which seems remarkable given how few customers were there at the time. SERVICE When the bell rang signaling our food was ready, the bartender was on his phone and didn't move. I walked up to collect it myself (signs do say "Pick up here"), only to find half our order wasn't ready. The bartender then told the cook he couldn't help look for butter because he had to "go put down the steaks" -- at 10:30 in the morning. The cook himself was pleasant and genuinely tried to help. The front-of-house staff, not so much. SANITATION A live cockroach was on the floor next to our table when we sat down. We're from Florida, so a stray bug doesn't automatically send us out the door -- but in hindsight, it should have. More alarming: the return tray held plates of pot stickers that had clearly been sitting there overnight, since the restaurant only serves a breakfast menu in the morning. That is a food safety issue, not a quirk. HEALTH INSPECTION RECORD After leaving, we looked up the inspection history. A report from May 2026 -- just three weeks ago -- documented four violations at this location, three of which were classified as High Priority. You can verify this yourself at floridafoodsafety.org. THE REVIEWS The overwhelming majority of reviews rate this place 4.7-5 stars. Based on what we experienced firsthand -- and what the health inspection record confirms -- we do not understand how that is possible. Draw your own conclusions. We left after a few bites. Save your money and your stomach.

What a cute and unique dining experience…read more Working nearby, my coworkers and I decided to try something new, and one of the girls had recommended this place. The airport itself is small so we knew it wouldn't be too chaotic. From the moment we walked in to leaving the restaurant, it was pleasant, quick, and the food was delicious. There is a kiosk where you order, you're given a number, and then you pick up your food when they call out your number. It's a great seamless operation! The people are also wonderful and kind!!! I will definitely come back. So for those of you looking for something new to try, head to SORA!
