Nice for a quick meal in the mall. Teriyaki chicken with rice and cabbage was my wife's choice. About what you expect for mall food court Asian food. Nice to see peas and carrots in the rice to add some color and texture but hard to give it more than 3

Great place for a fast Asian cuisine. The place is nice and made fast. The prices are really good.

Best Chinese food in town! Located in Lakeland Square Mall; this place is always packed, but when there is a line you know the food is good!

We were in town and decided to have Chinese food for lunch. Found this place nearby and decided to…read moretry it out. Overall we were sadly disappointed. The gal working the counter seemed uninterested and couldn't even feign a smile. The interior itself was bleak, with faded signage above the counter and a few wooden tables and chairs around the perimeter. But we were not here to make friends with staff or have a romantic dinner, we were here for the food, but still... I ordered the General Tsao chicken and the better half ordered the Sesame Chicken; with an order of pork wontons to split. The food came out hot and fresh, albeit bagged into to-go containers even though we were dining in. The food was not hateful, just average. Albeit both dishes had ample chicken pieces, they were kind of large overall; especially in the Sesame Chicken. My General Tsao had ZERO heat to it (and they advertise it as having heat). It was actually on the sweeter side, like an Orange Chicken would be. We decided to taste test each others dishes and the taste was nearly identical, hmmmmmmmmmm I wonder why. The side of yellow "pork" fried rice that came with the main entrees was palatable, but nothing great with tiny pieces of pork hidden within it and some not fully cooked pieces of onion. The pork fried wontons were actually fairly decent, but the sweet & sour dipping sauce was straight up from a bottle. I usually consume all my Chinese food in one sitting, but since it wasn't very fulfilling I packed up half of it to go. I later ate the other half for dinner, after spicing it up with some red pepper which helped make it pop. I doubt we will ever eat here again, but if we do for some reason I'll update this review of two stars (it could've been better).

The parking lot sucks, but that won't detract from my review of the food and service. Once inside it a fairly nondescript establishment with a couple of tables in the lobby to sit at while you wait, or eat there if you were inclined (no thanks). The place was fairly busy for a weekday late afternoon, with patrons picking up food and/or placing orders. A few folks you could tell were regular customers, which in itself is a good sign. I ordered the 'Hawaii Five O' which listed crispy shrimp, scallops, chicken, beef, roast pork and vegetables. The wife (aka better half) ordered the 'two item special' of honey chicken and chicken Teriyaki. We also ordered a side of fried pork wontons and crab rangoon. The wait was not very long and the bag felt like it weighed 10 pounds when it was handed off. On the 35 minute drive home the little lady consumed half the wontons and stated they were quite good, which I would agree with later. Both of our entrees were HUGE. They provided plenty of fried and white rice. My Hawaii Five O was very tasty and the better half enjoyed her selection(s) as well. The portions were so big that we had leftovers the following day. The next day I added some red pepper flakes to kick mine up a notch. Neither day was I disappointed. The service was efficient and pleasant enough. If we are in this part of Lakeland in the future and get a hankering for Chinese takeout we would definitely patronize the place again. Oh yeah, the Hawaii Five O at the end of the description had "lobster" listed. This was either a misprint or if there was a piece in it it was minute. Regardless, the flavors were on point.

This is what many would consider a hole-in-the-wall place, but don't be fooled by the lack of "ambiance" here as the food was delicious (as well as plentiful). There is not really a dining area per se, but if you want to eat in they do have two old tables in the lobby. We ordered our food to go. While waiting we observed at least 6 pick-up orders and just as many walk-ins placing their orders and hanging out. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Sesame Chicken as our entrees. Each came with a pork egg roll or soda (your choice), with fried rice or an upgrade to Lo Mein. We both chose egg rolls, with the better half getting fried rice and my upgrading to the Lo Mein. A 15 minute drive home and the food was still hot and fresh when we dove into it. Both entrees were LOADED with chicken! I have been looking for a decent Kung Pao Chicken since the scamdemic forced our favorite Chinese restaurant of 30+ years out of business. I may have found it here. No zucchini filler, plenty of firm peanuts, very small diced celery and carrots, and a nice zing to the spice level (I would prefer it to be even hotter, but no chili peppers located within). We also obtained side orders of Crab Rangoon (8 count) and Pork Fried Wonton (10 count). We had been on the hunt for PORK fried wonton all these years and finally found a place that serves them! They were delicious! The wife enjoyed the Rangoon a lot (I am not a fan of cream cheese). All of the food was great and they stuffed the to-go containers to overflowing - BURP!
