I've used Sitters4Paws for a few years now, as pet/cat carers who visit our home every day we're out of town. S4P employees are always responsive via the app/email/their site, and it's very easy to book visits online as well. After the initial visit and consultation wherein an animal carer visited our home and interviewed us and our pets, multiple various carers have come by to tend to our 2 cats. We've never had any bad issues, no worries, our cats consistently looked after, fed, clean and safe. We return to healthy cats who miss us a lot, no trauma evident! Our home also somehow feels more secure since we know someone will swing by and keep an eye on things. No theft either (I personally encourage everyone to secure their valuables anyway, but I trust this company with keys and access to my home even if we haven't met them face-to-face). S4P employees are very respectful to our home and animals, I believe them all to be trustworthy. We recommend this service to anyone looking for in-home pet care. Visits start at 30 minutes and are up to 90 minutes, you can schedule multiple visits per day if you need. Our cats are shy and only need 1 visit per day. They are absolutely reliable, post a report and pictures after their visit so I know they have been there and report any observed issues. Recently I broke my wrist and have been unable to handle changing litter and water fountains so sitters have been coming even though I am home to take care of those chores. I have seen the care taken to change litter and always tidy up, as well as monitoring food and water. And they even take time to plays with the boys even though I am here. Every petsitter we've used in the past seems to have issues with sending photos of our pets...or they won't text...or they don't like to visit in the morning. There's always something. But with Sitters4Paws, it's totally different. LISTENS TO OUR REQUESTS: We request morning appointments and they are there first thing in the morning, every morning. They send multiple photos every day and it really shows just how much fun our cats are having. It's very clear from the photos that our sitter plays with our cats a lot on each visit. FRIENDLY SITTERS: They sent someone over beforehand to meet us and ensure our specifications were met. She was taking very detailed notes and had questions prepared. We've actually never met our usual cat sitter (Sydney) in person, but my cats clearly love her and she puts a lot of love into her photos and updates. My only gripe is that you aren't promised the same cat sitter everytime, which I wish I could do. However, in our case, we happen to get the same cat sitter (Sydney) each time, but we know we can't expect it. LAST MINUTE AVAILABILITY: One night, we were panicking because we needed a cat sitter for that night. Sitters4Paws couldn't make it that night because they were just about to close and no cat sitters were on duty. They promised to have a sitter at our place first thing in the morning. My husband and I were new clients of Sitter4Paws. We were nervous at first (we've never left our eight cats alone with anyone other than family and friends). We have been extremely pleased and impressed with the entire staff's professionalism, attention to detail, total interest in the well being of the cats, kindness for them and caring. Laura O., our first cat sitter with the company, went above and beyond. Not only did she send us lovely, detailed emails and descriptive pictures at every visit to let us know how our cats were doing; she dealt with surprise ants, made clever moats for their food so ants wouldn't get in their food, dealt with cat hairballs, litter robots not behaving properly, etc. She gave love and attention to our kitties. When we came home, the cats seems happy, rested, reassured and well fed! Also, everything was spotless and well organized, around the cat food, litter areas and in general. Great company!! I had called about three others prior to calling them (for no particular reason) but anyway they were the first people to actually get back to me! And they were able to schedule a home consultation and the dog walking in the three day rushed time frame I was working with. Nikki was the field manager that came to my house. She was very friendly. They give you like a two hour window where you have to be there so they can meet your pup, go over the lockbox thing with the keys ($20 if you don't have time to buy one from Amazon) and set you up. They accommodated my schedule by making the time frame 8am to 10am, which was helpful. Then they assign you a "main" dogwalker but she said it could change based on availability. I didn't actually get to meet the guy that walked my dog, Donald, but the dogwalkers send you an email right after the visit, which is AWESOME. He talked about how it went meeting my Maxie for the first time and where they walked and how they played. And there were lots of pictures from the walk which was hilarious and cute. I love them! And will definitely be a repeat customer when I can't make it home at lunch to walk my baby. $20 very well spent, I would say. read more

I am so so pleased with this service! Everything was extremely smooth & undeniably exceptional. Totally worth it. My fiance and I planned a trip to Iceland for 11 days and our vet (who usually watches him) but could not board him over the July 4th holiday weekend. We had no idea what to do! So I did some research and came across Sitter4Paws on Yelp. We signed up for the 30 min/day home visit which was $22/day. I was wary at first, but it was worth every cent. There is a preliminary visit from one of the sitters, who meets your pet (ours is Noodle) goes and through your space and takes note of where everything is (food, litter box, toys, treats, etc). They then enter it into a form which the other sitters can reference. It made my life super easy, as I didn't have to really write any instructions out. You then purchase a lockbox so that the sitters can have access to your home. I was super nervous the first day when we were abroad (i just felt bad leaving my cat alone, really). I was checking my phone at every chance I could get. I eventually got an update within the timeframe we arranged and was super excited to see photos of my cat baby, his fresh food, and clean litterbox! It instantly made all my nerves subside. The sitters were so sweet, and it was great reading about Noodle's little quirks while we were away. I got every daily update on time, up until we got home. Can't recommend this service enough!! But so glad I found this service and will continue to use in the future. We signed up for 30 minute check ins every other day. This included filling her bowls, cleaning her litter, and brushing her while she eats, which is about the only affection she likes and accepts.
