Pretty good Asian spot would recommend always fresh and not long wait times. Looks nice and has good sushi.

Maybe I caught these guys on a bad day considering the other good reviews from people I respect. The service was good but the ambience was kind of cold for my liking. In the end it was the sushi that cause the "2" score though. Rice if the key to sushi and this rice was 50% crunchy and not ready to be served. It was also not sticky enough so each piece fell apart immediately (see pic of rice fallout in the soy sauce bowl). Also, the size consistency of each roll piece was totally off with some pieces being huge and others tiny. The other weird thing was the opening salad. the pieces that you could salvage from the brown dressing (again...see pic) that it was drowning in were quite bitter. The General Tso's was pretty ho hum. Standard breading and sauce out of a can. I was not terribly happy with this place at all. I may give it another try because of my friend's reviews of this place but I do not have high hopes.

An interesting interpretation of Singapore Mei Fun. Where is the egg, char siu, chicken, soy or oyster sauce, and curry powder?? Terrible!

Hit or miss. Mostly miss. This take applies to quality and quantity of the food. You never know what or how much you're going to get. In general, the food generally lacks flavor - very bland. Of the few dishes that I've tried, two need mentioning. First, the Wonton Soup is pretty good, especially with some chili flakes, black pepper, or white pepper. Second, the Singapore Mei Fun is simply lacking in every way. My order of the Singapore noodles had no egg, char siu, chicken, soy or oyster sauce, or curry powder. It was just unseasoned rice noodles and a few vegetables with, surprisingly, a decent amount of shrimp. On a plus side, it is located in a shopping center, so it has a parking lot.

    Sushi and Sashimi Combo Entree

We were staying at the hotel right around the corner and were looking for something that didn't come out of a Sysco warehouse (not that there is anything wrong with that). We gave Siu's a try ordering the sashimi and sushi deluxe combo. When we got back to our hotel I was shocked to find the fish was ice cold. I started to put it into the microwave to cook it when my wife suddenly yelled "what the heck are you doing?" I said "I was going to cook the fish, they left it raw." "You dumb hick" she said, "it's supposed to be raw". I said, "you've gotta be kidding, who eats fish raw except for sharks and killer whales?" She said, "you should try it as is, it looks really good to me!" Ok reluctantly I tried it. Oh my gosh! I had no idea raw fish would be so good. Soft and buttery delicious. I have no idea what kind of fish we ate but the Mrs said one looked like Aha Tuna or something like that. And another fish looked like salmon. Maybe the cook who doesn't actually cook anything can put name labels on the fish so us hicks know what we are eating. Just a wild thought here. So if you like raw fish, this place is all right, go for it!!

    Maryland Roll

I've been patronizing Siu's for some years now. Their sushi offerings are unique and tasty! I normally get the "Roll of the Year" or their "Maryland Roll." Both rolls have large servings of seafood within the roll and both are garnished with seafood on top. Siu's has "traditional" Asian-inspired dishes as well. The name of the chicken dish that I tried escapes me, but it was good. Inside is rather small, and Siu's gets really busy for lunch, so you may not be able to grab a seat.

Went there for lunch and ordered chicken fried rice and lunch portion of Szechuan chicken. Food was good for the price. Lot of options for food but Siu is good Asian option.

The food was really amazing and authentic and service was really great and the servers are super sweet. The restaurant itself is also very cute it's great for catching up with friends over good food and drinks.

As a new yorker from queens being in the dmv for my taste buds is a true trial and tribulation especially for chinese( chinese american) and italian food so when I find a good place I have to talk about it ! I have ordered via uber eats from Siu's now 3 times and each time has been better than the last! Most places in the dmvs Chinese food quite frankly taste like cardboard in most places around here or is too greasy and oily or just simply lacking flavor but not Siu's the food is fresh flavorful fun and creative and is the closest thing to the chinese food back home in new york, today i had moo shu vegetable(s) and the shrimp roll! The shrimp roll was flavorful crispy and delicious and the moo shu veggies perfectly prepared still crisp and bright and each one tasty! Would love to visit Siu's in person one day soon!

I didn't find any krab or even the taste of it, but good none the less. I shared another appetizer, inuri ( not sure if spelling), tofu fried in a wrapper and covered in a delicious sweet sauce. I'm not a tofu person, but this dish could change that! DH ordered hot and sour soup and drunken noodles. Not a fan of hot and sour soup but I liked this one! So did DH. He loved his drunken noodles with pork. It had a hint of curry and was a little spicy. He ordered a sweet tea and said it was really, really sweet. Diner #2 ordered miso soup and teriyaki chicken. She loved the soup and I got to taste her chicken. It came kind of fajita style on a sizzling platter with red and green peppers, broccoli and a little bit of onion with a generous portion of chicken breast sliced on top with a good sauce and sesame seeds. It was accompanied by white rice. Large enough portion that she has lunch for tomorrow! Diner #3 ordered an eel roll and a few pieces of fat salmon sashimi. She said it was all good. I ordered pad Thai with shrimp. Several large shrimp were delicious and the noodles were very good. I ordered it as mild as possible and there was not a hint of 'hot' spice although it was physically really hot, which I love. I think next time I'd ask for a little heat in it. As I'm writing this I realize I could have asked for some chili oil or something to spice it but I enjoyed it very much. The server was terrific and a few people made sure our drinks were refilled. I definitely am looking forward to my next visit here. There are lots of things I want to try!

I ordered all you can eat sushi. The waiter decided that he should spin around in the dining room instead of coming to check his table. It was an off time so there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. I was able to get his attention when he sat down to play on his phone. There were a few things that I ordered that made me feel sick. He told me that since I didn't eat it, I will be charged extra. I asked to speak to a manager. He went to the other side of the dining room and told her that I wanted to speak to her. I heard him complaining about me. She has yet to come over to the table. The waiter is busy talking and laughing with another customer. He is wandering around. The manager just came over to my table to show someone else to their table. She gave me a look and walked away. My waiter has now sat down to eat. He never checked on my items from the kitchen. If they charge extra, it should be stated to the customer instead of having it on a part of the menu where people do not look. Someone just came over to tell me that the food I ordered was never made because I didn't finish my other food. They told me that I should eat it and get sick. They could have told half an hour ago that they were never making my food. It doesn't say anything on the menu about not getting more food if you don't finish what you have. I asked him if he wanted me to get sick from eating the food and he said ok. They kept pushing me off on someone else. When they gave me my receipt, they didn't give me back my card for a few minutes. I need to monitor everything because I don't trust them! The manager never showed up. People would probably eat more of their food if it was fresh. They also didn't have soap in the bathroom. They only had hand sanitizer. That means that the servers and cooks use the bathroom and don't wash their hands!

None of us were from this area, and we intended to go to the Mayflower Chinese Restaurant, based on Yelp reviews. We walked next door to the Meleket Ethiopian restaurant. However, the place was deserted, and we didn't stay there either. We tried the Lime & Cilantro, the next place down, but it was packed and couldn't handle our group. So, we skipped past the verernary clinic and went to Spring Garden. And, what a great choice that was. They offer a huge menu of Chinese, Thai, and Japanese meals. Everything is reasonably priced. Once we got our food, we were impressed with the quality and portion sizes. And, through it all, the service was prompt and friendly.
