Terrible service and experience. They will claim employee shortages and lack of training due to the pandemic as posted on the door so I guess I should have expected terrible service. One of my absolute favorite places to get sushi, it's always so tasty! My only complaint is I wish there were deals with the specialty rolls like their competitors have but they have the regular rolls priced at 3 for the price of 2 and that's what I usually get. I do recommend eating in over take out, it just isn't as good to go. Staff is always friendly, especially the guy with the good hair lol, wish I could remember his name but you'll know him when you see him! I have not met the owners but they seem very kind. Walking into Six happiness I was a bit apprehensive. It was a bit large and empty feeling. The sushi bar in the back had a few happy looking customers. I didn't partake in the sushi though. What I did order was the pineapple fried rice. I asked for extra hot. When it arrived I immediately went from 2 happiness to 6 happiness! The fried rice with chicken and shrimp in it came in an actual pineapple! Yes, there were sweet chunks throughout the rice, but the bowl stole the show. It was not as spicy as I hoped. My fiancé and I had a horrible experience here. We walked in around 9:00 and there was only 1 other couple in the place. I realize they were closing in and hour, but the restaurant was just very dirty. They had lots of garbage on the floor random empty boxes and trash on the floor around the bar. We ordered edamame as our appetizer. It came out 15 minutes later and it tasted dirty. The beans literally tasted like gritty dirt. I'm pretty positive they were not washed at all. We were already getting weird uncomfortable vibes from this place and this did not help. I walked to the restroom and looked behind the sushi bar and noticed lots of random garbage behind the bar. There was loose trash, empty boxes, and they had their young child, maybe 2 years old, behind the sushi bar barefooted, with no pants or diaper on. I also noticed that the sushi cooler on the bar was nearly empty and only half of it was refrigerated. I sat back down and was talking to my fiancé about how dirty it was behind the bar and then all of the sudden the 2 year old runs up to our table, stops and lifts his shirt up over his head while waving his naked everything back and forth at us. He did this for about 10 seconds before anyone realized what he was doing. Then a waiter ran over and scooped him up. Nobody apologized they all just laughed at the situation. That was the last straw that drove us to leave. I asked to talk to the manager and I just politely addressed my concerns. I brought up the generally poor condition of the restaurant, regardless of the 5 servers working who were sitting around on their phones not doing anything. I said the kid was cute but it's probably not very good for business for him to be running around barefooted with no diaper flashing customers. I told her we felt very uncomfortably to eat raw fish and sushi in that environment and we were going to leave. She didn't really say much in return just sorry and ok. Then we left. I personally will never go back to this place and I strongly caution anyone who plans on going to eat here especially for sushi. These problems and practices that we observed don't just develop overnight. Who knows what it looks like behind the closed doors of the kitchen. Kinda scary!!! read more

This place it a total hidden attraction. The sushi is excellent. But the kicker is that it is always on sale, but two rolls get one free. My girl friend and I can go in get six rolls and come out around $40 if we only get the deluxe rolls. You could get the tame/lame rolls and get six for under $25. As asian fusion restaurants go, Six Happiness is pretty good to go. The Black Pepper Chicken (lunch or dinner) is especially tasty. Another personal favorite of mine is the Miso Soup. Miso soup (fermented soy paste) at most "Japanese" restaurants is pretty watered down; however Six Happiness slightly thicker soup is very nice. The decor is also very lovely as well and would make a great treat for a night out or a family dinner. read more

We shared a rainbow roll , J-Mac had the pad Thai with tofu , I had the Yaki soba with chicken. It was all perfectly prepared and delicious.
