The shoes costed $51 something with tax. I thought it was a little pricey but I just wanted to get over the school shopping list and head on home. We got home she tried them on and they were super tight! Went in today to return them and they said they were non returnable (it did say that on the receipt) but did not notice that until today, we could only exchange to make matters worst they did not have any bigger size of the one we had chosen. Their selections are limited. So we just settled for a different color pair and the size that actually for her from this store location was a size 6. Found it weird since she's only 8 yrs. My point is ... I've came to this location several times before and never had any issues, yes it's my fault for not taking my kid to try them on before making any type of purchase and for not reading the return policy. I would just recommend to go to an actual Vans store or Tillys or any other store that will return your money because they could have been cheaper. I don't think I've spent more than $45 including tax on Vans but at least if I was not happy with my purchase I would be guaranteed money back and more and better selections.

Today I went in for a return and figured it would be a quick in-and-out, but Maddy turned it into such a great experience. The store didn't have the wool socks I needed in the right size, and instead of just sending me on my way, she took the time to help me order it online right there in the store. She made sure I got the size I needed and walked me through everything. What really stood out was how genuinely kind and upbeat she was the whole time. You can tell she and Dena really care about helping people, and that's rare these days. It's easy to leave reviews when something goes wrong, but great service deserves to be recognized too.
