We went into this store to do a simple exchange of a pair of work shoes my mom purchased online but…read moreended up really hurting her feet, and we also wanted a foot measurement and a recommendation for a good comfortable work shoe. Two girls were working that day and both were unwelcoming, not friendly and not helpful. The cashier looks at the shoes we were exchanging and says with an attitude "since these have been worn we can only do an exchange and cannot give you a refund". I said to her that we just told her we were there for an exchange and never asked for a refund! I reminded her we wanted a foot measurement and she walks away without saying a word and then flags us down from the other side of the store, points at the stool for my mom to sit in and then drops the metal shoe sizer down. She then seemed irritated that it was taking a minute for my mom to get situated and get her foot into the sizer - my mom is 80 years old, cut her some slack! She tells us the measurement and then points to the back wall and says "all of our non-slip work shoes are back there" and walks away! We ended up just going through the shoes ourselves and trying different sizes etc and not once did anyone come by to see how we were doing - they were up at the register chatting about their weekend. The lack of customer service and basic common decency was ridiculous, it was like we had interrupted their entire day by coming in to buy shoes. If you don't like your job then go find another one, but don't make us put up with your attitude over it! We definitely will not go back to that store! *Also after reading all the other negative reviews, the "Business Owner, Josh B.", your rude and condescending responses to people's reviews is very unprofessional. He refused to process the return and failed to provide a reasonable explanation beyond insisting on his own decision. Good customer service starts with treating customers respectfully, even when there is a disagreement. Jesse's attitude was unprofessional and made it clear he was more interested in asserting his authority than helping resolve the situation. So I come when I have a crazy discount, reward, etc to use. The prices are high if things aren't on sale. So it's more about looking for discounted items I could use, instead of something specific. Store is in better shape than previous years, both organized and clean. Staff is friendly if you can find one on the floor. Interesting that there seems to be a remodel of some kind every time I go in, most notably the register area. Before they had put in self-checkout stations, and now those are gone. Busy parking lot, with Walmart next door and a bunch of restaurants in the center. Plus Costco at the back of the shopping center, so expect tons of the traffic in the area.
