Please see attached pictures for the reason why we love dining here so much. Only 2 other restaurants have a great salad bar. My Island pancake house in Rockledge, Fl. The Cattlemen restaurant in Danville, Kentucky. The 6th street steakhouse in my opinion hands down. Has the most delicious salad bar anywhere. This salad bar is prepared not just served up. The soup's are equally delicious. The chefs prepare truly delicious dishes that you will enjoy eating and returning for. The waitresses/ servers make you feel like family my server was Brittany W. She was absolutely precious. All I heard was pleasant conversations and laughter. The atmosphere was friendly and festive. Wings were large , cheesesteak sandwich was alittle juicy but tasted good, French fries were good, vegetables especially the broccoli tasted fresh and cooked well done instead of al dente. My husband and I both loved the fact that they didn't add salt for all those folks like us that are on a salt restricted diet but it is on the table for you to add yourself. I had fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw. Shrimp was ok. The fries were ok. Coleslaw was great. They also have a very large salad bar with soup and lots of options. I wish I would have seen the salad first because I would have gotten that instead of the shrimp.... Service was very friendly. This is one of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat when visiting my parents from out of town. First and foremost, the service is wonderful and I've never had a bad experience. Waitresses made sure drinks were full and that we were good multiple times throughout meals. Food is always a hit. I highly recommend the hamburger or the country fried steak. Though, it's worth mentioning, you can't go wrong. They have an awesome salad bar and soup option that is always fully stocked with excellent options that I've also gotten multiple times. Cute cowboy themed restaurant with great home style cooking. We started off with Fried green tomatoes and corn nuggets. Delicious! I choose the fried pork chops for my entree. The pork chops were moist and tender with a crispy outside. It came with two sides. There were plenty of choices to choose from. I had cabbage and fried okra. Again, no disappointment! My table had a variety of items from a Mushroom burger, to chicken wings. Clean plates all around! We appreciate the attention we received from our service. I hate to give bad reviews but this place is not a desired destination for a steak. I ordered the surf and turf but their steaks are not quality. You can tell all of their products are frozen simply by the texture. Bad enough it was not cooked to my desired temperature. We took our girls, their husbands and our grandkids to eat here when they all came up to visit and we've had dinner delivered to the house from 6th Street Steakhouse via Doordash. I have to say they have the best dang chefs cooking for them! We had a real mix of orders when we took the family to eat in. It was a pretty large group, and we showed up unannounced with no reservations. Everyone's meal was awesome, and the service couldn't have been better. This last time we ordered delivery, and it was again, amazing. I had the 10 x 10 (steak and shrimp) and the wifey had 12 grilled shrimp. Absolutely cooked perfect as always. Best salad bar within 200 miles! I've been here several times and enjoy the stop - as long as you are there well before closing time. On this occasion there were three of us. One ordered the fried shrimp appetizer along with a salad bar (which is incredible). Another ordered grill shrimp appetizer with crispy sweet potato fries. I was the odd person out and ordered the sirloin steak, baked potato, and fried okra. My steak was just ok but everything else was terrific. My cousin took me out to dinner at Sixth Street Steakhouse in Macclenny, FL and I was very impressed with the dining experience. My cousin told me this is one of a few nice places to eat in town, so I was looking forward to trying this place out for the first time. Our server was wonderful and very professional. She gave us great customer service and took care of us very well. I immediately saw the salad bar in the rear of the restaurant and was very happy! It is rare that you see salad and soup bars in restaurants in Indy, so to see a salad bar makes me happy like a little kid, because I love me a good salad and soup bar. I ordered the grilled salmon with green beans and baked potato, and the endless soup and salad bar. For a steakhouse, it was excellent! The grilled salmon was wonderful and tasted great. The green beans were good and baked potato was done just right. The endless soup and salad bar was impressive and had quite the selection of condiments. They had banana pudding for dessert on the salad bar, and it was magnificent!! Tomato Florentine was the featured soup of the day and it was very good as well. Our server kept an eye on us the entire time and made sure we were well taken care of, so we had nothing but excellent customer service throughout the meal. The ambiance of the steakhouse was a Western style decor that suited the restaurant very well and was attractive looking to the naked eye, so I liked it and made me feel at home during my meal. For a hole in the wall steakhouse, this was magnificent and terrific to go to for dinner. I now know next time I come visit my cousin, we will come here for dinner because it is a great experience and reasonably priced as well. Place totally sucked. Over priced for a frozen steak house. I've had a better steak at Waffle House. 60 bucks for a steak, salad ,cold fried okra ,and a beer. The dinner roll was hard as a rock. I literally banged it on the table and it sounded like a hammer. I only gave 3 stars for the food, not the service. My husband refuses to go back to this restaurant so occasionally my daughter and I will go because it is convenient. The food is average. The service is where things seem to be very inconsistent. On several occasions while dining in the evening my husband and I were forced to hear way more than we bargained for from a server to another staff member. The last time my husband dined there, the service and the food were both a disappointment. We ordered steak, it came way overdone and tough. This place is great for chicken fried steak! It also has an extensive salad bar! Although it's location is in a strip mall the ambiance inside makes up for it. We had high hopes for this place, Macclenny doesn't have a ton of options. Our server seemed like she truly didn't care, we only saw her three times, and she seemed to rush us out. She went and got us TOGO drinks while we were still eating. I ordered a pork chop that came out grey and flavorless, myy boyfriend ordered the sirloin that was paper thin and was covered in pepper. I didn't see any recent reviews from the last few years but decided to try this place anyway as it was the only locally owned place serving breakfast and I always profer to support local businesses. I asked if I could have my bacon cooked medium and was advised the bacon is precooked and they put it on the grill to crisp it up. Unfortunately the bacon tasted sour like it had spoiled before it was precooked or it was precooked long ago. The sausage was inedible. Not sure if that was precooked too but it had both a terrible taste and texture. On the positive side, the hash browns and eggs were good and fresh and very tasty. The server was also very friendly and attentive. We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time until some of the regulars and family members showed up. Although I prefer to support local businesses I would not recommend this place for travelers. read more

MacClenny doesn't have a lot of options, so this was definitely a good find. My mom turned some of us on to the senior special -- which isn't even listed on the menu. I ordered it grilled, and it came with a nicely season piece of fish, several pieces of shrimp, and delicious hush puppies. You also get two sides. After learning the green beans were canned, I ordered a baked potato and salad with a dried tomato vinaigrette. The salad dressing was way too strong and drenched the salad. I could barely eat it. The wine menu was very limited, but the price was super low and the wine was OK. We finished the meal with Key Lime pie and I had no complaints, other than the salad dressing. Oh, and I forgot to mention -- the senior special was only $7! read more
