She tried to act like it was my fault I received no points and couldn't tell me why the points were reversed from the previous visit (even after she went back in the office to do the research. She told me when came back from the office, she could see all my order history but she couldn't give me back any points from my 2 previous visits. I think they're more into the Belgians, but I found a couple of West Coast-like IPAs. The cool thing about Burning is that they have food or an attached food truck. We went for Patty Melt/fries and a wedge. It was good and just my helpful two cents, if you're going to stay away from Rye bread in a Patty, you need lots of grilled onions. I love the white bread idea but it's more of a Chester than a Patty melt. Better news: Burning Beard is moving to a larger local, much larger, and a dedicated kitchen. Can't wait.

The staff are ridiculously friendly too, which makes it hard to complain about anything when someone is handing you great beer with a smile. The biggest issue was that the shrimps were soooo small. This is NOT butterflied. They were barely passable as tasty and nothing I would ever write home about. The fries were acceptable, but eh, okay. NO cole slaw at all was included in my meal. F A I L!! Geez...I was looking forward to the 'homemade' cole slaw they tout, which costs $4.49 separately. I didn't even get the one that's supposed to come with the order. The second dinner meal ordered was fried fish (1piece) and shrimps (4 pieces) for $15.00, which came with french fries. My daughter said the taste was 'just okay'. For $30, I was expecting much, much more satisfaction from this place, based on their almost 5* rating. Money is too hard to come by these days to waste it on mediocre food and complacent quality control. It's a one and done for me.

The sides are purchased separate and come in generous sharing portions. We enjoyed the sweet potato fries, potato wedges, and onion rings. All nice n crisp. By that point, I was too full and took some bread pudding home for later. I enjoyed the flavor, but the texture was bit too mushy for me. The ladies working were incredibly friendly and sweet to everyone. A nice casual, clean dining area. There were multiple TVs on showing sports, without it being super loud. The dining area was actually a bit quiet until more people started showing up. Prices are fair. Definitely a place to try.

This past week, we drove by when there was no drive thru line so decided to take our shot. We ordered a quarter pounder, a side of fries, and an order of friend zucchinis. Service was quick and the food was out within 10 minutes. I was a bit shocked at first by the price of the fried zucchinis until i opened the bag and saw their size. I believe it was at least 1 1/2 zucchinis cut in fourths lengthwise and then fried. They looked exciting but were actually very underseasoned. i also found the batter to be very soggy because of the amount of moisture released from the flesh. The burger was nothing too exciting. It fed the craving but I would not wait more than 30 minutes for the burger.
