THEY WRECKED MY CAR!…read more They were supposed to swap a transmission and additional parts (clutch, bearings, pressure plate and so many more) and they wrecked my car on a test drive. They hit something and the wheel went into the fender, tearing up the suspension, brake, and damage to the fender and front bumper. When I spoke to the technicians they all told me different stories on what happened. The owner is a liar (he said a ball joint broke and it caused the wheel to get into the fender while it was on the lift) and replaced the broken parts with the cheapest parts that they could find. He complained because my performance parts that they damaged were too expensive and bought the cheapest crap that now needs to be replaced. They "fixed" everything that was broken and He (the owner) told me it was running great. Picked the car up and it limped home, barely ran. Took it back and they were supposed to replace the transmission they put in with my old one because the one they put in was "bad", even though it wasn't. Went to get the car again after the owner told me it was running great. I go to pick it up and I requested that the owner rides with me. Sure enough, the car drove like shit. Goes back to the shop because "my original transmission is now bad." If you are keeping count, this is now two "bad transmissions." When I finally pick the car up, it drove like garbage. The tech that worked on my car said that they just didn't want to mess with my car anymore and never took the transmission out. This is verified because I paid close attention to the short throw shifter that was installed. I confronted the owner after the second test drive with him in the car and he repeatedly lied over and over, and then had the audacity to ask me for payment. Part two: When I originally took the car there, I had a bunch of parts that they were supposed to install, including detailed instructions on what to do. After I finally got the car back home, they didn't install half of the parts that they were supposed too. On top of that, my tan interior, including the headliner, is stained with greasy hand prints. They car came back home completely in disarray. They interior pieces where never put back together, hood upright is broken, headlight assembly is broken, front end is janky, the list goes on and on. Had to take the car the someone else and fix ALL of their mistakes. 100 percent crooks!

So a few days go by and my sons car starts making a noise I called him back told him what was going on he said okay I'll take a look but then every time I asked when he could come out and look at it there was an excuse. Needless to say he never came back out and looked at it . I had to pay someone else and it ended up being some bolts that weren't tightened up . This could have just been an easy 10 minute fix of his mistake but he blew us off instead . For that I will not be going back and would not recommend him !! Very poor services

The manager was rude, dismissive, and spoke with zero professionalism from the start. As a customer, whether you're knowledgeable or just asking questions, you deserve basic respect--something this place clearly does not value. Instead of helping, they talk down to you and make you feel like your business doesn't matter, all while expecting you to hand over your money. There are countless other transmission shops out there that will treat you with professionalism and actually appreciate your business. Save yourself the frustration, time, and money--do NOT go here.

Due to the low temperatures when I picked up the vehicle, I was not able to operate the top since the rear window is plastic. They informed me the top worked and to bring it back in the spring if it did not. I paid $460. I got the vehicle out of storage in May of 2025. The first time I operated the top, it did not work. I took the vehicle back in July 2025. They had the vehicle until December 2025. They gave up on the vehicle. I picked up the vehicle up in December 2025. The top still did not work. They had the vehicle a total of eight months and charged me for their time and I had a vehicle that did not work. Also while they had the vehicle the left rear window stopped operating. They wanted me to pay for the parts and labor to fix the window. When I dropped the vehicle off in July 2025 I had ¾ tank of gas. When I picked up the vehicle in December 2025 I had ¼ tank of gas. When I asked if the vehicle had been driven they stated it had not been driven. I then showed them photos of the gas gauge of when I dropped off the vehicle and when I picked it up. He stated he didn't know why the vehicle had been driven. I took my vehicle somewhere else and they fixed the issue in three days and did not take the vehicle for any joy rides.

I posted this on a different forum, and now m cross-posting it here: Story time: There was a place on South Side of Indianapolis: 3-D Carburetor. I'm thinking they're the Dire or Dwire family, & 3 of 'em were the mechanics. This is more than 20 years ago. Apologies if I'm bungling their surname. They kept me employed by keeping my POSs running. A few times they put parts I'd pulled from junkyard. They'd warranty the workmanship, but not a part I got from god knows where. They'd also order new parts for people, but that was rarely a problem I had. Never had an issue. Never left feeling screwed over. More than once they worked up to or past their closing time to get my roommate or me underway to the far north side where we worked. Once, they even let me bring them cash the next morning instead of making me find an ATM and be late. Paying dealership prices and dealing with dealership level responsibility hot potato and I would have been unemployed followed shortly by homeless. I can't thank them enough. Excellent mechanics, and all around very decent people. 5/5 would recommend all day. I can't say enough nice things about them. Keep being awesome! Cheers!
