Had an arrangement with another guy set up and he bailed at the last minute. So I cold-called Hobbs and Dave, the owner, is who answered. When I explained the situation, he offered several solutions, including storing my trailer for free since I was in a bind. Who does that these days??? The owner is very nice and I like that you can text him to make appointments instead of having to call. The only thing I didn't like was that when I arrived for my appointment and rang the bell for someone to come in, it took a solid five minutes. I'm not sure if the bell wasn't loud enough but I believe they didn't hear it, I'm sure they weren't ignoring me. At the end of the day, I would recommend this auto shop and I will use it again.

They were to replace a sensor on the underside of my engine. The mechanic that has it now said the cut the wiring harness to my low oil sensor so now if I have low oil the light won't come on. To fix it I have to buy a new oil pan. There is other damage to another wiring harness that has caused my car to not run right. I recall when I had it here after they said they fixed and I was paying someone saying they weren't certified mechanics. It raised eyebrows with me for sure so I never went back to them. Now two years later I am having to pay for damage they caused.

No matter what I've needed, large or small, whether it's led to me paying them for a service or them waving away my payment because they've done something they consider 'small' when it's been huge to me, they have always made me feel as though it was perfectly fine to just stop in and ask for help! Whether it's Meagan and the ladies up front, or Jamy and the guys working on our vehicles, everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly, and always take the time and care to explain problems, go over options and find the best way forward for everyone. I've heard customers be rude and be excused for it because "We just gave them bad news about their car, it's understandable they're upset, it's OK." I've seen them give customers money back because it cost less money and man hours than they quoted. And I see them discounting those 'expensive parts' they insist on using, because they're superior and don't make their workmanship look bad when they fail yet don't want to pass the cost on to us, so eat it themselves. This shop gave me the lowest quote for replacing the timing belt, valve cover gaskets, and water…read morepump .. me being a single mother, i decided to let them do the work. 1 day after I picked up, my motor mount broke on my van, causing all my protective shells underneath car to come out underneath. Me hearing the motor mount snap I almost wrecked my car into a ditch. I called them and brought it back, they said it looked like i wrecked my car because their was grass all stuck underneath(from me trying to pull over after hearing a distinctive noise that something was not right). They stated that when my van came in it was missing bolts from the motor mount. I never heard anything about it or had any problems with my van besides the timing belt. Now currently, after paying almost 1700 dollars to them on July 7th, I have taken my van many places. My oil is leaking in three different places including the valve cover gaskets that they claimed they replaced. My transmission fluid is leaking, and my power steering hose is leaking. Other shops wants 2,500 to 3,000 to fix these problems that I could have avoided had i not taken the cheapest quote. I honestly regret taking it to them because my van is so damaged I haven't gotten to use it much because of all the leakage. I am told by several shops that its because the installer was not careful while installing. Also, the lady at the counter is 100 percent rude and yes I did get smart with her after she said they refuse to help me with fixing anything that is now broken and was not leaking before. They ruined a perfectly good vehicle and I have proof from 2, almost 3 shops. It is at another shop now getting diagnosed once again. Do not go with the lower quotes, pay the extra money for it to get done the right way or you will end up with no vehicle like I have and they did nothing about it but blame me for it. Also, always get your car or sum thoroughly checked out before you send it to any shop and get it in writing so that if something does go wrong, you at least have something to prove the damages were caused by said shop. I didnt do this, and now by the looks of it, they won and I have no vehicle

As a wheelchair using driver, it's not particularly quick or easy to identify an appropriate vehicle that will meet my needs. I don't drive a van. I typically have driven a 2-door automatic, however, it has to have enough room between the driver's seat and the door frame that I can put my wheelchair, when folded, in the backseat. When I was younger, these were easy to find. These days? Not so much. I first called Ed Martin Honda as I was curious about a used Honda Civic. I'd had a Civic before, but cars change over the years and I wanted to make sure. I was transferred multiple times trying to find basic answers about the vehicle. At one point, I simply asked if they could measure the space I needed to know about as I'd been able to determine how much room I needed. It was really basic customer service, and they just wouldn't do it. Majorly dropped ball. Somewhat on the flip side, I did an in-person visit and the sales rep definitely went out of the way to let me try a couple of the vehicles. I was definitely impressed, and there was a definite effort to try to think of vehicles that would actually work. That was good customer service, though we didn't actually find a vehicle. For the record, I ended up buying a Honda. If that original associate had been more helpful who knows what could have happened? I learned that both the Civic and the Accord would work (coupe versions, so slightly older). I ended up with an Accord that I'm anxiously waiting for it to arrive. This was a solid mid-range experience, though somewhat disappointing given I've generally heard great things about Martin's customer service. Phone call? Disappointing. In-person? Much better. Overall, I'd still probably return for future needs.

We took vehicle for antifreeze leak. They did what they deemed to repair that. It was $1400. Now a problem with a "vehicle reset" has arisen. Another $500 to dealership. My problem with this is, if you can't fix it tell me up front not after I paid you $1400 to have to spend another $500. I spoke with Tim and he said it wasn't their issue. It appears this is how they do business nowadays
