I really enjoy surveying their excessively large choice of shoes with a more than adequate selection of sizes. I especially like the new slip ons because I'm basically too lazy to tie up shoelaces. Their variety of styles is more than adequate to choose from for any occasion. My 2 complaints involve the inadequate number of staff this time. Usually they have had 3-5 staff to help out a large customer base, but this time there were only 2 people, one at the checkout & one replenishing product. I love Skeetcher shoes so I come here a lot, but lately I haven't been able to find anything I like. Everything is kinda dull and boring in colors right now. If you like neutral, then this is your place. Unfortunately, I like comfort and colors. I don't think anyone tried to offer me help this time. I love Skechers sneakers and own about 8 pairs, fairly new still, but kept in buying more when they go on sale. I got 3 pairs from the Westminster store yesterday but one pair wasn't too comfy so I went to this factory store today to exchange it. The store is well stocked and very organized. They have a whole lot more in stock than the other outlet stores. I had a hard time deciding because I like so many of them. :) They carry some styles that I don't see anywhere else, and mostly the latest styles. The associates were friendly and trying to be helpful, which was great. I ended up getting two pairs as they have the Buy One Get One at 50% off. read more

I always come here to get my Sketchers. The people who work here are always helpful even though they are very busy. Sketchers are not cheap, but every time I come here there is a special deal going on and I end up with more than one pair. This time I got the second pair at half off plus a $5 reward for my membership. I like that they make sure the shoes in the box are the same size as what is labeled on the box. 2 days before Christmas, all throughout the Outlet mall all the elves were running around trying to find gifts for the kids on the nice list and a few on the naughty. I found myself here with 2 parents trying to find the right fit for themselves like Cinderella trying to find the glass slipper. Except in my case, Cinderella is a fussy Senior father who cant make up his mind and nowhere in the store could there find a sales associate willing to help. YIikes! There was one girl on the register, long lines, and trying to find someone else to help was like being out in the desert and finding a mirage somewhere. So much so, other patrons were thinking I worked there because I was trying to help my parents find their stuff. It was a mess. I kept asking for help, and it wasn't until the end did someone finally show up, limited comprehension in English to be able to help assist and I wanted to scream. So, using my limited Spanish I was able to communicate what we needed and even then subpar help. The lady was like "no we dont have it" and within 5 min I was able to find the elusive items that were non-exsistent and scramble to find a size. Honestly, If I could go behind the curtain and go in the back to find the shoes for my parents I would. Its embarrassing, honestly. I was pissed. It wasn't just us, it was others too trying to get help. Hey corporate if you read this, shame on you guys. Get help for the front, so there is enough staff to help others effectively to buy merchandise and who can communicate efficiently in English. I am multi-lingual, senior parents and other patrons for this demographic and in this location are NOT! Get it together. Because Im familiar with sales, I called previously to ask about specials for Christmas and went to the customer service desk and was able to score a coupon for $10.00 off $100.00 along with the buy one get one 1/2 off deal. Sweet. Others may not be soo luckily. The location is convenient, the parking free, the lack of finding sizes for my parents who require extra wide, and size 12.5 or 12 for men like finding a needle in a haystack. To tell seniors who are old school, "order it online" is not how things should play out. Some need to try on the product instore, just like a pair of jeans they need to try it on, walk in it, and feel it out. I found the shoes that I like but not the size. So the guy told me that they're out but I couldn't believe it because the sign on the rack said new design. I checked the boxes on that rack but couldn't find my shoe size. So I had to double checked with the guy at the check out counter and he said there are still 3 pairs available. So I went back to the guy I first asked and that's the only time he said he would check in the stock room. True enough he found the shoe that I wanted. Self serve, narrow aisles, so I don't think it's ADA friendly? One woman left her motorized wheelchair outside and was limping/hanging on to the shoe racks. That said, they had what I was looking for. Getting a pair of slip on, comfortable shoes for $60 and change was worth the self help experience while dodging other patrons looking for/or standing in aisle to try shoes on. Zero greeting and I didn't even notice an employee until I found the register. Then someone magically appeared. Additionally, I'd never tried this brand and had questions. Frustrating. I don't recall when I started wearing Skechers as walking shoes, but I can say that I've become hooked. They are my go-to brand, and I keep adding more styles and colors to my collection when I find something new and interesting. It's possibly bordering on an obsession now, but as a person who's more aware of aging feet and knees during this time of my life, comfort reigns supreme! And if that means a new pair of shoes occasionally, so be it. We were in the Encinitas area last month, and decided to visit the outlets on our way north toward home. After seeing the Skechers sign from the freeway, I knew where I wanted to shop. Their space is on the inside loop of the outlet mall, which I discovered once we parked. It's worth the extra walking to get to them. I'd wanted to try their step-in shoes, and was able to find a pair in my size in stock. Their sizing can vary, and I'm in between two sizes. Sometimes I have to special order a pair to be delivered, and sometimes what's in the store will work. This time I got lucky with the in-store option. When check out time came it was nice to receive a bag that doubled as a backpack, leaving me hands free once I caught up with our daughter and grand-daughter. I could hold the little one's hand and not have to worry about juggling the shoe purchase at the same time. Just a little added bonus. This store seemed to be clean and organized, with helpful staff members. It worked out great for me. I'd definitely return when in this area again. We were greeted by a friendly man, An. He helped my find a special pair of shoes as I couldn't bend over so far. I loved the selection of the Slip-In shoes. They are perfect for me as I do t have to bend over . The key to putting them on is to stand up and put your foot in and they just Slip-On!!! I give this Skechers Outlet San Clemente, one star for service and value! Their selection is very good. I went to buy some shoes at the Outlet which had advertised, one pair regular price and second pair half off. I found both pairs, however, on one they were out of stock, but said they could order it for me. I was told because the second pair was not in stock but available online I would not get half off. I don't understand this policy, I would have taken the second pair if they had it in stock, but they did not have it. It didn't sit right with me, so I left the store without buying anything. I went over to the New Balance Outlet, just a few yards from the Skechers store, They also had a half off for the second pair, same as Skechers. In speaking with the New Balance sales associate, I was told if they did not have a size in stock, they would honor the half off, and ship the correct size with no shipping fee. I feel that is reasonable, I would have taken both pairs from Skechers if they had both pairs in stock. Poor policy, or the Manager at Skechers did not know the full policy. read more

Great mall but terrible customer service! We drove all the way to San Clemete outlet from San diego an hour plus drive Unfortunately we had a really bad experience with one of the the employee here. When we got in to the store literally we just entered not even 10 seconds this unprofessional associate yelled at my friend's little boy. This is exactly what she said "DO NOT TOUCH THE BOXES, I JUST FIXED THAT." I got irritated of how she yelled at a little boy so I told her "he's just a kid". And she replied "Well, HE SHOULD JUST STAYED HOME". Un-freaking-believable. I was surprised how she responded. That was our first time that We had ever encountered a really terrible customer service. I needed some ALL black tennis shoes and wasn't having much luck at general retailers so I figured the outlets would be a good place to try. I have "slightly" WIDE feet but it is more linked to my plantar fasciitis orthotic insert that I need to shop for WIDE shoes. Unfortunately, most retailers don't carry a lot of WIDE shoes so oftentimes I have to grab them whenever I see them or buy them online. Fortunately, I sniffed in here at Skechers because they had tons of options in WIDE and in ALL BLACK. A couple looked a bit too grandpa but one (Relaxed Fit Memory Foam Flex Advantage SR Wide) was more appealing but they only had one pair in stock. Right away the sales associate stated that he could likely order a 2nd pair to get the BOGO 1/2 off discount. Since it's been a bear to find anything that would work for me I purchased these. The 2nd pair showed up in a few days and was identical to the other as ordered. Hopefully these shoes will be durable enough for work purposes (on my feet a lot). If they do, I'll keep coming here as the need arises. I liked that the sales associate was friendly, helpful and made suggestions to fulfill my needs/wants. The store hours posted online are 10am-8pm, and nothing posted at the store. I just got off my shift working 9 hours on my feet at my vet clinic and went to this store to get new shoes as my current ones were falling apart, and giving me blisters. I had my mask on over my face fully, and waited outside as the sign said customer amounts were restricted. The time was 7:15 and around 7:20 the two ladies inside saw me outside and just shook their heads and continued working. I attempted to call twice to see what the hours were and at 7:26 one of the ladies came to the door with attitude and said "we are closed!" I asked what the hours were and she said "10-7. It's on our website to". I pointed out the website said closed at 8 and she just closed the door on me. This is my first experience at this store and I won't be returning. read more

Went in with my husband around 5:00 pm on a weekday. There were few shoppers in the store and about six employees. All six asked us if they could help us and let us know that if you bought one pair the second pair was 50% off. Some of them approached us more than once. It was annoying. Oversell. Since it is a serve yourself store, we found it particularly annoying that the employees followed us around while we were looking at shoes. When we found a pair and took them to the counter, we were reminded again of the buy one get 50% off the second pair deal. This has been the policy at all Skechers' outlets for years.
