I'm very disappointed with the experience. The manager (I believe her name was Rochelle or Rachel) didn't help at all. My watch had a clear defect -- nothing was broken or scratched on the outside, it looked perfect -- but the minute hand inside fell off and was just dangling around. I tried to get help or at least a credit, but received no support whatsoever. Very frustrating experience, especially considering the watch was in excellent condition except for this internal defect. read more

I always like to stop by this Nordstrom Rack location when I'm in the area. They have good selection of shoes here at times. Or maybe I just had some better luck days. Lately, perhaps within the last year, I haven't found anything good in my last few visits. The store can be a bit more organized though. I was just picking up an online order and did a little shopping inside. For some reason, this store is all by its lonesome, with demolition activity all around the footprint of the store and parking lot. I'm not sure whether there is a new development planned, but there was a whole bunch of parking spaces throughout the lot. I kind of felt sorry for this store, as the foot traffic is limitted to construction workers, with no real shopping or stores nearby. I'm hoping this store survives, as it seems pretty nice inside and in a nice area of Laguna Hills. read more

Many years ago I did a lot of my shopping here at Nordstrom Rack, but my recent visit I almost turned up empty-handed, if it weren't for the Levi's 501 destructed jeans shorts that my daughter chose. I was surprised to see the amount of long jeans selections that were available in the women's section. Racks and racks of different brands filling up most of the section. There were some average looking tops at some astronomical prices that barely caught our eyes. I told my daughter that many of those solid colored staples could be found at much lower prices at stores like Forever 21 and Old Navy or even Target or Walmart. We originally came here to look for a nice dress for her upcoming Winter formal, but I must say that their dress section was terrible. Not much of a variety in terms of options or really anything in her size. We ended up going to Macy's instead for the dress. Once we got home I did a quick search on Amazon and found the same pair of shorts for sale for the same price online there. I'm not sure if that makes me happy or sad. It for sure would have been easier dealing with Amazon than driving down to the store, but oh well, such is life. read more

Staff: They were neither nice nor unfriendly as no one asked if we needed anything. However we were helped at check out by Erik. He was nice and went out of his way to pack up our items in different bags to prevent glitter from a decoration from getting on our clothes. Very much appreciated this. Quality/Quantity: Good size store with a lot of good inventory. The store was clean minus the kid shoe area which looked like a tornado hit it. Value: Pricing here was fair with some good deals. I love this store. The men's department always has great deals, and a plentiful selection. Found a killer pair of Robert Graham shoes that were $265, marked down to $80- with an immediate $40 credit if you opened a Nordstrom account. Nice shoes for $40? This store is a gigantic mess! Every time I go in there to shop, and I get there at opening, the place is a wreck. Piles of clothing, dirty counters/floors, etc. I know they are not the actual "Nordstrom" big store, but being they have the name in theirs, there should be some level of civility inside. Even the workers are always unfriendly. I don't get it. I get better service at TJ Maxx. Guessing it's their manager, because the Tustin location is slightly better. read more

One might think that having the name "Nordstrom" in its title, you would get quality clothes at a discount. Not true on any level. My wife bought me some sweats and they started to fall apart almost immediately. I brought them back and the store gave me guff for having "worn" them. Anyways, I used my credit to buy the same sweats and they also are starting to fall apart. A week later, I needed a shirt for a party I was going to and bought one from another Nordtrom in San Clemente. ( I was already there with my wife) The shirt started discoloring almost immedietely. Not only that, I went online and found out that I could have gotten it cheaper. Discount crappy clothes should only be bought from discount crappy clothing companies. Horrible experience! I got home and realized the cashier, named Elizabeth, charged me for 2 shoes that I never purchased. I went back to the store several days later to explain the situation. They said they had to call security to see the issue. They refunded me one pair of shoes after explaining over and over they charged me twice for something I never received. Obviously the security in the back didn't watch the footage or else they would have seen this happen. This is unacceptable especially from a large corporation. I came in today looking for a specific pair of pajamas for my husband to see if they were in stock in the store before I placed an online order for the item to be shipped to the store. I asked an associate to assist me with locating the specific item in the store and I was met with nothing but attitude and disrespect from her. She acted as though I shouldn't have bothered her with my question even though it is her job to assist customers with questions.. As an HR professional, I would highly encourage to train your staff on how to be respectful and kind to customers - as that is the baseline and minimum requirement for customer service roles. read more

I LOVE this Nordstrom Rack! They have all the good stuff! I have been to other Nordstrom Racks, where everything is all picked through and rundown. This location is very upkept, and items are always in place. The clothes are organized and placed with other clothes in the same style. Their selection of sunglasses is nice too!!I bought some QUAY sunnies for $11?!?!? That is unheard of. I also bought my grandmother some new walking sneakers and she was very happy with the selection they had. We were there for almost an hour trying to decide what pair to get for her. We finally decided on a purple pair. (Her favorite color!) I highly recommend this location because they have the best selection of clothing and accessories. read more

It turns out she didn't need to call the manager. She was able to return the items in my original form of payment. Extremely unhappy on the customer service I received. I purchased a Jean pants as the souvenir for my brother-in-law in another country but the size was wrong when my family received it. I purchased another same exact one with the right size but it took me 4 months to get the original one back to US. I explained to the store manager and even showed her my flight ticket that I went to another country and brought the pants back and that's the reason on passing the acceptance return policy but she refused to return, store credit. Even rejected exchanging it with the right size that they still have in store and when I told her this pants is not usable for anyone in my family she said donate it How many customers have you had so far that showed you the flight ticket? I'm giving this location 4 stars for a few reasons. I've been visiting this store for a few years now and I hink it's one of the better Rack stores. The checkout staff is consistently really pleasant and helpful. The store is more organized and neat that any other Rack location I've been to. This is the store that I don't walk into the shoe section and trio over piles of shoes left by customers and never cleaned up. It's not as large as some but the selection is pretty good. The dressing rooms are in good shape and pretty clean as well. They have a reasonable selection of designer handbags for a store this size too. If you want Nordstrom fashion at a discount this is a very good option. The home products are pretty limited here so this is a fashion focused location. read more

I shop Nordstrom Rack on a regular basis, but normally at other locations. I came to the Laguna Hills store and spent a good amount of time picking out some items. When the employee rang up my items, two out of three items would not go through because of a computer issue which seemed to suggest there were safety recalls on the items. One item eventually went through, but the other item, a cute pair of Gabrielle Union shoes didn't and I could not buy them at all. Really disappointed, as I loved the shoes and they were at a great price. If items are, in fact, on a safety recall list, they should not be on the floor. I won't come here again. read more

This store seems so low budget now. It used to be pleasant to shop there and now everything is so overcroded and unorganized it's awful. Comparable to a Marshalls. I would rather shop at TJ Maxx than brave the mess that is this store now. Also a mention about Nordstrom Rack Online. Also a nightmare. Everytime I return something there seems to always be an item that somehow goes missing. So watch how much credit you are recieving and that it's the correct amount. I don't know if they monitor their returns employees but you might want to check their bags on their way out. I once had them say they did not receive 4 pair of ugg boots back and thank god i had learned my lesson and taken them to the post office and got a receipt so I was able to prove they DID receive them. I purchased a shirt online along with many other items. Tag still on, never worn, but yes past the 45 days. The register lady asked manager if she could do credit. Nope. The shirt is till on the floor being sold. I was only looking for a credit and was going shopping for winter items. We are talking $13. No biggie, but on principle I took myself shopping to Macys. First time here at this location. It's like a TJ Maxx superstore, but with a few more items. I found what I was looking for, took me about 15 mins of my 1 hour. The 45 mins was waiting in line. 2 cashiers to check out customers took forever, I will say the returns/exchange registers when no one was in that long line opened. I will add the employees at the registers are very professional and efficient. Good job! Covid- Every employee had a mask, hand sanitizer at the registers and plexiglass at each register. They do what they can do to satisfy the crazies. I recently moved to Irvine and lovemesum Nordstrom Rack. I use to like the Nordstrom Rack in Tustin because they had a good selection of Free People. But lately, its been skeletons. Sorry that I have to rate it on my favorite brand lol. A co-worker of mine recently recommended I go to this Nordstrom Rack. I was in the area and had a few things to return from Nordstrom so I thought I'd check it out. It is right off the 5 free way. In the big shopping mall near In & Out. There is a lot of parking available. Building is new. Everything is organized. Inventory was good with the exception of their dress collection. Granted we are in between seasons so I'll update later in the year if i see an improvement. Check in was easy and quick. When the line started building up the cashier was aware we were all waiting around to be helped so she called for back-up. Will more than likely come back in the near future. read more

I was super unhappy to be targeted as a thief in this place. the yeti of a nazi troll they have the nerve to called manager thought I was stealing. I regularly go look for clearance section I did my business purchase left the store and after that I proceeded to BevMo came back to my car then leave just like any normal day as anyone would when you're done shopping. Then I looked up at my retrovisor and I though I dropped something because they were casing the parking spaced I parked. So I got curious and turn back then there's a young guy telling me that I put something in my purse. This is only my second time ever in a Nordstrom Rack I believe, and both times were to get a gift card for someone. This time, I decided to walk around and shop and check things out. I expected the prices to be way lower than they actually were. I did find a really cute dress, unexpectedly... but it was still not what I was expecting in the price area. The staff were all really friendly, and they have a pretty solid setup for the dressing room. All in all, I will most likely stick to this place for the gift cards and thats about it. read more

I have love for all Nordstrom Racks, and I am fortunate that my new residence (CA) has more locations than the rest of the US combined. For my husband and our credit cards, not so lucky... The prices are fair compaired to buying retail, if you browse all the racks, I am a sucker for the clearance and designer show clearance you can get great deals, I usually set myself a limit to only get things under $100 a piece and you can actually find alot of high end designers within the budget, love it! The lines are always a bit long but they move along fast and now they have the new check out where all store workers can ring you up without having to get in line! Wow! Just had the worst experience at this Nordstrom Rack. I asked if I could speak to a manager to see if she could override the 45 day return policy since I just had a baby and couldn't get to the store before the time was up and the employee told me I should have had my husband return the items for me... He went to get the manager and brief her about my question and as he was talking he was making fun of me and laughing with his back turned to me not knowing I was watching him. He turned around and saw me and stopped smiling quickly totally caught in his act. I believe his name was Eric. The manager did not even apologize for how he treated me when I told her. Okay, I'm having a change of heart about my 3 star review of Nordstrom. Why? I find Paige jeans and Joe's Jeans on clearance for less than $48. That's a true find. I feel like I save a lot of money this way. The Joe's Jeans need alterations, but that is done, and I am pretty happy with how it is done. By the way, if you need tailoring or alterations, the tailors at Nordstrom Rack are skillful, and I have been happy with their alterations; they do a good job. The only negative is the alterations aren't as low priced as some of the local tailors. Sometimes, however, you do get that for which you pay. Some of the brands NR has that Nordstrom doesn't carry interest me. They have a lot of products that are actually at a good price, such as OPI, and Urban Decay. MAC Cosmetics are also carried here at a reasonable price. Whether they are MAC Cosmetics that do not sell well at Nordstrom, or previous seasons of their line, I have no idea. So the mystery of NR remains. Still, I am happy with some of my purchases. I even buy an Origins moisturizing face mask for my sister-in-law here. SIL seems to be happy with the beauty products I buy for her. She's really sweet, very generous to me, and quite nice. I am pleased to buy her beauty goodies. In short, NR can have some really sweet deals. At times, they don't seem to have much that interests or entices me. I think during those periods of time, you need to really take your time, and look for the good stuff. The store does carry some of the Nordstrom brands like Bobeau, Lucky Jeans, Splendid, and Seven for all Mankind. It may or may not be worth it to visit NR. It's kind of a gamble, but it can be fun. read more

Like all Nordstrom Racks this one has a ton of great deals and a number of fake "great deals". In general the suits are a great deal for men so those are a go. The shoes are a pretty good deal but be careful as most are worn and can be found online for same price and those are not worn. Men's socks, underwear and belts aren't that great of a deal so check prices. Do NOT wait in that huge line. Find someone in a green shirt and they can check you out quickly. That big old line is for suckers. read more

Service was good, but we were assured that the men's suit we purchased could be altered for free at any Nordstrom's with in store tailoring. Imagine my shock when the Mission Viejo store wanted to charge me $152.00 to shorten the jacket sleeves and take in the pants waist, along with hemming the pants. Apparently this is a common problem. I was told that my only option would be to pay that amount on my Nordstrom card and would then be reimbursed with a store credit. Not exactly free alterations by my definition. No thank you. I was able to get the same work expertly done for approximately 1/3 that amount in half the time. Very disappointed with this deceptive practice. If the details were specifically explained at our time of purchase, I might have purchased a different suit and factored in the alteration cost, instead of taking the "free alterations" offer at face value and feeling completely and intentionally mislead. read more
